Ok but 6 players in the LAV (the tank that is a spawner) isn't able to 1v1 every other land vehicle in the game. Why not? Because it would be ridiculous! The nightbird has 1/10 of the transports hp it's just not balanced plain and simple 😅
Reasons I don’t believe they will nerf the transpos is that its extremely rare to see a full one with good gunners majority of the time they are getting shot out of the air like you did in this video. Statistically it is the worst aircraft but i believe it is balanced having the strongest cannon in the game. It should be able to defend itself and getting a five piece should not be handed over easily. Battlefield is about squad play and this vehicle is great when their is a full squad in it. Please don’t get it nerfed silk even you were surprised it killed you because everyone thinks that should easily be killed but no one would ever fly it if that was the case.
I agree, it's definitely rare. Nerfing them would mean no one would choose them over the littlebirds, which would make getting around these massive maps even more difficult. Perhaps they could make the repair tool less effective on the transports? This would encourage people to fly better to dodge missiles and avoid areas where there is lots of AA. Also, the wildcats main gun shreds through them at even medium ranges, you'll notice in this video that the wildcats rarely are using their main cannon on them only using the missiles which are okay but not as effective with reps and flares.
It's not that the guns are overpowered on it, it's that two passengers can repair more DPS than two jets and an AA tank can put out. It's almost invincible with the right squad.

The game needs to reward coordination, which it did for them, they just also happen to be really good at the game too which is what makes these clips look crazy. In most matches I’ve played transport helis do Jack shit because people spawn in the gunner seats get a kill and hop out.

@@Taurex it's not that op as you imagined, just some night bird carrying Indian hackers to parachute next to it, then it will get muted and you can kill it. or some m5 with laser pointer, it will only stand 4 rounds of it, so really easy to get killed by infantry like this
I also encountered a transport heli squad in one game. They killed me multiple times in the helis. However I managed to kill them with the little bird: I took them by surprise (higher) and fired a lot of anti-infantry rockets at the side of the transport heli while being really close. I managed to get one gunner and the repair guy killed. I then could finish it with the minigun. Let me know if this works for you!
I dont think this needs a nerf. You need a squad coordination of 4-6 players to do this. If that same amount of players play well against you, they'll be able to shoot you down.
yup , along as interference is ran (hacked, soflam , jets and attack or aa) it will be taken down.. but it takes massive teamwork...something missing in a lot of matches
Unreal how strong it is with teamwork. I have faced a squad doing this and its infuriating to fight against, it can take multiple tank shells and just fly away and repair. Really only options are Rao hack/EMP and a bunch of stinger players but good luck pulling that off without VOIP and you die instantly as infantry against it haha nice gameplay Silk, lets hope not to many people start getting into this

This will never be nerfed. This is what BF is abot. And this is not a requring problem since it requires minimum full squad of players that know what to do. 99.9% of the time the transports choppers get missued as taxi and nothing else. EPIC video.
transport heli on flashback maps is some of the most fun I've had in battlefield since running them back in BFBC Vietnam. it's essentially playing as an AC130. That cannon does so much work
this is literally the only way I can have fun. However, we are only 2 people in my squad, so usually, me driving and my buddy shooting the cannon, we go down faster because no one repairs but the Transport heli is crazy OP
Funny vid honestly, those guys seem cool. Question for you, how do you get the choppers to move so fast? I fly them as much as I can and they always feel like they are moving through sand. I am using the infantry controls in my flights.
throttle and dives...you basically try and take advantage of the momentum you can experiment with it on a private server or on solo to get those close to the ground maneuvers down

Best tip was not to use the 20mm and stick with the mini guns very helpful in 1v1 with other air craft! Love your content bro keep it up! Just wish I could communicate with other players.
The Condor is even more ridiculous if there's a semi competent squad in it. It's almost as fast as the SU-57 with full afterburner and the guns reach across 75% of most maps. If the pilot is aware enough to not let you get above him, there's no way to take it down. Myself and another good pilot would unload our 30mm canons on it and hit it with multiple rockets on each pass, but it would repair faster than we could kill it. Meanwhile we took ages to repair if we weren't just immediately melted by the guns or AA rockets from the ground.
Might be a dumb question. But can you explain me how to enable free look in the helicopter so that I can look left and right in the littlebird and attack chopper? In the past Battlefields I could just hold down the right mouse button and could look either way. In this one I could not find the solution. Thanks a lot.
They really should add more seats to those. Realistically it’s never useful as a spawning point for the rest of the team, as it should be. The guns and pilot are always full regardless of squad (if you’re a good pilot and prove it) and one guy in your squad is always just repairing. That just one spot left being hogged by a blueberry farming assists. At that point it’s literally just a kill machine and doesn’t serve it’s original purpose of transporting troops.

I always fly transports in 2042. Very strong and surprisingly fast. I just bide my time until enough people catch on and I get some gunners. Can take any point by hovering on it and then bug out to the next point. A full heli can change the tide of a game
Me and some mates also do some condor/hind gameplay....our highest kill game was 290 (there were AI in enemy team) kills on breakthrough... it is definitely the apex predator of the field. DICE definitely need to dial it down a little bit....after they fix the hit reg of the 50mm...

SILK saying this like “you have no chance” “nothing you have do” while he has 100 plus kills in the nightbird using the put of this world mobility and hiding to repair with flares. Call out overpowered when getting pwnd by a squad or good team! That's not overpowered its just good teamwork! If a single person can beat multiple gunners and craft (good team and player) then it's just shit game balance not overpowered at all!

Not really though. A two man squad (pilot & gunner) can be taken out without much of a hassle. A 6 man squad with repairs and all SHOULD be difficult to take out.

If you want to take out a group of 6 enemies working flawlessly together then you have to work together with your teammates and lock spam them out of the air. 🤷🏼♂️ Edit: with all that said, VOIP is INTEGRAL to have any sort of half decent team coordination.

Takes team work to do it, takes teamwork to undo it. The transport heli sucks in general, but in the right hands it could turn the tide. It’s extremely rare for the transport heli to be used to this level and so should not be nerfed, but maybe tweaked in a way to encourage using it more.
I've been playing 2042 for about 2 months straight after I stopped playing around launch. I got to say, the vehicle controls feel so much worse then previous Battlefield games. From tanks to especially air vehicles. I've tried messing with the controls, but nothing is good.
They shouldn't nerf the transport chopper at all! It requires multiple people working together for it to have the power you are showing here, solo or random squad is nowhere near as OP. We need more counters to the solo pro pilots who rack up hundreds of kills a match. The frustration you expressed at the start with not being able to play the way you wanted because you were getting destroyed is exactly what most players feel when meeting the pro pilots like you. The way you were playing the transport chopper is exactly the point of battlefield, working as a team. Its literally taking 6 infantry off the ground in order to be this strong, it has an inherent balance to it. Plus a juicy reward should someone shoot you down. So yeah I think its fine as is, we always need more anti air....well we need more anti pro pilot options.

I've been playing 2042 for about 2 months straight after I stopped playing around launch. I got to say, the vehicle controls feel so much worse then previous Battlefield games. From tanks to especially air vehicles. I've tried messing with the controls, but nothing is good.
No nerf needed, teamwork will always dominate against no teamwork in BF.
And whenever I use it only 1/5 of my shots actually register...
Meanwhile enemies:- Someone just get a BF4 aa on the ground pls🤣🤣
They shouldn't nerf the transport chopper at all! It requires multiple people working together for it to have the power you are showing here, solo or random squad is nowhere near as OP. We need more counters to the solo pro pilots who rack up hundreds of kills a match. The frustration you expressed at the start with not being able to play the way you wanted because you were getting destroyed is exactly what most players feel when meeting the pro pilots like you. The way you were playing the transport chopper is exactly the point of battlefield, working as a team. Its literally taking 6 infantry off the ground in order to be this strong, it has an inherent balance to it. Plus a juicy reward should someone shoot you down. So yeah I think its fine as is, we always need more anti air....well we need more anti pro pilot options.

This is how the game is suppose to be played the whole point of team work. You have fuckin plp you play with a random and join a server and they won't even fuckin revive you and run over you
If there weren't already thousands of isssues raised by the BF community in this game, my man's adding his own flavor to make people cry even more with his godly squadplays and killstreaks 😹
