I am back with another doll figurine and her video.
I hope you will like this year's first Valentines custom of mine - The Love Bird.
I've got this idea since summer, and after my graduation I could finally make it!
Lots of procrastination.... but finally she is done and I am pretty happy with how she turned out!

she looks so soft, and sad, but somehow as if she accepts her fate... really beautiful :')
I think the leg crack adds a lot of story to this amazing character! It kinda looks like she tried to escape from her love (the cage) but ended up getting hurt in the process and because of this she ended up not being able to leave and instead is now trapped until it heals, but it never does because the love she is trapped in won't allow it to.
Like in Steven King's "Misery"? ;)

I find the "time lapsed" videos more entertaining! When it's too slow, I get bored quickly, so I prefer the way you edit and would love if you kept it the way it is
Agree, I think the style of editing, including the funny fails, it's really nice and refreshing. Been able to see the creative part is the best, so I would just focus a tiny little bit more there but that's it 😊
I agree, I also get bored easily so if something is too slow, I tend to find quicker paced videos and not even finish the first video.

You're video showed up in my recommended list a little while ago. Which is weird, because I've never looked anything like this in before. But I am SO glad it did. I didn't know I needed this in my life. But I can't go back now. I'm already too far down the rabbit hole that is your channel. Keep up the AMAZING work, because you have just gotten another subscriber.
I also agree but I also like it when she slows down sometimes to go into detail like the face up and the hair it might just be me but I like seeing those things in detail
I never felt more attached to a doll than this one. She feels so relatable and how I feel about love, she is just hitting close home. I love her, she is incredibly gorgeous en so well made (even with the crack!)

Not only is she appropriate for a Valentines theme, I think she would be appropriate for a Halloween, or Gothic theme as well. She is sad, sweet and spooky all at once. I understand when you say you were dreading the making of her but look how well the results turned out. The crack in her knee is only the result of her beginning to deteriorate like her predecessors and contributes to the overall sad and spooky effect as she contemplates her fate. Congratulations!!
I love how you customize the dolls, most of the customizers keep their joints so they can pose differently and move but you keep them permanently posed and even make your own stands for them!

I am so happy that you like my work that much :) My biggest inspiration to start doll customizing was Earthtolylah’s channel :) She is making amazing doll figurines and I found this approach way more suited for myself :) Highly recommend you to check her out ^_^

i did this in a jar with a tiny Tinkerbell from the dollar store. tiny skulls and wings litter the bottom of my jar too. Cute and creepy. Love it. thanks for sharing.

This doll is my favorite of yours so far, along with the bee and wasp! I love the color combination, her peach and pink is so alive and delicate compared with the cold rusty and bones of the cage. Your dolls really are more art pieces than toys, and I love that.

I find the current editing style calming as is. I also enjoy seeing a lot of the art process you go through as it's very unique to yourself.

yeah... I am not a good storyteller :P I can come up with a simple story to explain my design choices... but not much more :P
She looks amazing! I always love your deliciously sick concepts. I agree, she looks really good bald, and short feathers might have worked out just as well as this hairdo. She reminds me of a Doll Chateau doll Nicola. As for your videos...why do you need to change your style? Your videos are great the way they are: long enough to show all the work and details but not so long it becomes boring. Don't change!

For the editing, I actually quite like it how it is. Normally I can't watch channels that go slow, no matter how amazing the art is, I tend to get bored. Plus, I like getting to see more of the process this way.

I seriously don't mind the slower paced vids since I love having you in the background while I crochet on my plushies. It's like having company while working and it's always great to look up once and awhile to see how far you've gotten. It inspires me to keep going. :3

Please make her a partner, or else the idea is sad as lovebirds get depressed when alone or absent from their partner; usually, they try to find their partner even if they're dead unless that's the vibe you're going for, which is also a fantastic idea. Edit you could make her partner I was trying to find her lol like a knight

As much as I love watching your videos and would like to see more of them, I would like it more if you made less of them but longer ones? Also another request ? Could you please make a compilation of all of your finished work like the last minute or two when you show the finished product but all of them ? It seems that some people want longer videos, and others shorter ones, so what if you posted your normal editing style, and then maybe posted the unedited footage separately, like maybe on other channel or in a linked Playlist or something. Idk, just an idea. Loved the video btw!!!!

this is a woman who is trapped within her feelings of love for another
it was like an obsession, never knowing when or where to let go
Trying as she might she finds her self wanting them. her face now stained from the tears shes shed
her feelings are never going never parting from her, she is in a cage. shes locked. only this person shes obsessed with, only they have the key
to unlock the cage that she is stuck in. though this isn't the first time this person has locked someone in this cage, their hearts stuck in place never leaving them only wanting them.

seems like she is a creature who is often sold as a pet, the mother of a small child bought the child birds but they all died, then she tried these creatures so far they all die to the childs heavy chaotic hands too. The creature cant help but wonder if some were her adopted friends. With each day her pink skin goes white and her feathers fall out. She just wishes the kid would see she can feel and see her pain. Maybe even show her love before this cruel human leaves her like the rest.
I love your videos if you want to try something new I'm all in for it. Im sure if it's not working for majority of people they'll say something.
