    Thank you for these short and informative videos. I was dx with AFib about a year and a half ago. I think mine were brought on by stress and something to do with the vagus nerve connection from what I've been able to learn? Haven't had an episode in almost a year now. Knock Wood!
    When I did have a few AFib episodes last year, I was able to bring my ownself back into sinus rhythm by using some techniques I've learnt. And usually within a few minutes.
    I still Hate having AFib but at least it doesn't freak me out any longer!!😉😊

      Hi. I'm glad you were able to control AFib quite well. Could you tell me approximately what kind of techniques helped you?

    Hi, I am 40 years old and I have had Afib 5 times over a period of 10 years. Two medical reversals and three electrical reversals. I went on cordarone for a while but it seems to have negative impact on my THS levels so I am only taking 5mg of betablockers with bloodthinners and bloodpressure medications. Since then I have had the last (fifth) Afib. So now three cardiologist have advised me to do an ablation. Please advise me if I should just continue taking pills or is an ablation possibly better for me?

      Evidently you are quite Healthy! You work out for 2 hours, and so I am assuming you also eat healthy?
      Here's some info that should calm you down. You say your heart beat slows to around 50 or under, right?🤔Well, Actual AFib patients have verrry high heart rates while in AFib! Heart rates can and usually do reach between 120-200 bpm and even higher!!😉 And that's along with a verrry irregular heart rhythm also! (Panic attacks are what's making you so freaked out! Calm down!😊)

      @@catrachosmcs And that's what I was pointing out to you, my friend. Doesn't matter What your Apple watch says....it does NOT sound like AFib to me. Not at All. Many of us AFib sufferers have to go to the emergency room because we cannot get our heart rate to SLOW DOWN! My heart rate goes sky rocket High, around 170 BPM. It took the hospital over 6 hours, using intravenous medication, to bring my heart rate down and my heart rhythm back into normal sinus rhythm!! And it's even much worse for many AFib patients! So I don't know what is happening with you. BUT I believe you when you say you are experiencing wierd heart beats while working out and afterwards. But I don't think it's actual AFib because your heart rate is very much within the normal range!
      Maybe you could ask your doctor to have you wear a 24 hour heart monitor? Then do your work-outs and let the machine record everything? (I do the 24 hour heart monitor about every 6 month's, so that my doctor can have a look at how my heart behaves through-out the day and night!)
      I think that being able to have evidence of what you are experiencing will really help you and your doctor to get to the bottom of what's going on with you!😊
      Btw.... may I ask your age?🤔

      @@catrachosmcs I just wanted to add that having a low heart-beat rate is actually a sign that your are probably a healthy and very fit person!😊 Most athletes have very low resting heart rates because they are extremely fit!!😉😎 (If you do a bit of research regarding that it will no doubt work to help ease some of your fears!)

      @@gloriamaryhaywood2217 thank you, for your reply, sorry to hear that about how much is a struggle believe me, that I don’t wish panic attacks and whatever is happening to me to anybody not eve to an enemy.
      as I writing this reply I’m going through one episode, I worked out today and like 20 minutes ago it started, that sensation in my heart like if it is shaking and my neck and my watch says if afifb, but like you said it might not be that, but it feels awful. Thank you for taking your time and I hope everyone get better, I really do.

    The ablation is putting scar tissue on the heart. What other problems will that cause down the road? It seems like an ablation is just putting a bandage on the issue!

    • @OlYables
      @OlYables Год назад

      Afib itself creates tissue damage and eventual restructuring of the atria if not treated. An ablation creates some scar tissue, yes, but otherwise does not impact the structure or function of the heart. A little scar tissue is better than a lifetime of medication or letting persistent afib cause irreversible damage.
