'I don't have a lot'... So nicely organized, it's so satisfying, you inspired me to work more, so I can afford having so many pieces in my collection :) this is dream come true for every jeweller!
I am in love with crystals and I must say you are a solid collector!! lady. A normal person can't be passionate about nature this way, you must definitely be a super soul.
You are an amazing young lady. You remind me SO MUCH of my wife and myself. We sold our jewelery business in Las Vegas last month so we could retire. One of our artists has taken it over, so our dream lives on. You have a lovely presentation style! Your camera work is also AMAZING. Have you ever heard of ASMR? You should look it up because you are a NATURAL! Anyway, it's passion that makes the difference between a simple hobbyist, and an artist like yourself. Hold on to that, and you WILL succeed!
You have the same problem we all have. You are in love with your stones so much you can't part with them. 🤣😂🤣😂👍👍👍👍 You have a GREAT collection too! 👍👍👍
Wchin ones do you have in mind? The smallest ones, round ones and drop ones are in the range of 4mm-8mm (round) and 9mm - 12mm (drops). Little Turquoise is between 5mm - 15mm. The all the other, irregular sizes, small and medium ones are usually about between 10mm -25mm :) The larger ones are more around 30mm - 45mm. I'm not sure if it helps, but I hope it does! :)
You are so generous to share your suppliers! Of course, one would need the skill and vision to use them, but some I would just like to have as my own. Thank you!
Totally agree! I think owning gems, even cabs, is for everybody if one enjoys them! :) If you think about it, they are beautiful creations of the earth, beautiful by themselves 😍 Thank you for watching!
yes, I love them too! Especially Malachites with Azurites, they are so Earthy and beautiful. And yes, you gotta get these drawers! They're awesome :)) Thank you so much for watching!
I built some similar to yours for my gemstones after I tumble them. I love rock hounding, creating and building things too. Thinking of making jewelry as hobby, or sell what I make as i do other projects. Due to covid-19 I've had to make money anyway I can to support my daughter and I. Loved the video! Thanks for sharing!
Not only is your collection beautiful but you helped me identify a few cabochons I own that I had gotten at a gem show and had forgotten what they were
That's great! I have the same issue, sometimes I forget some of them. There's many types! I need to get into the habit of making little notes when I buy gems at shows, that's where I usually happen to forget them too haha 😍
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that Charmmaine! I hope it will get better soon. Give yourself time. I felt just like this in the Winter. It took some time, but it passed eventually. Don't pressure yourself and don't let the guilt of not creating take the lead. It helped me a lot when I just accepted that I won't be creating for a while and instead I went back to things that made me happy. I started drawing again just for fun. Watching movies and YT videos I loved (not jewellery related) and looking at art. And, wouldn't you know it, at some point my brain rewired and I started craving creating! :) Good luck love, I'm sending you lots of love and good creative vibes 🌺
Ooh such a wonderful collection of gemstones! Thank you for sharing, it's a real treat to see everything so neatly organised! Just a small correction, cherry quartz is a manmade stone; I believe what you have is strawberry quartz which is natural. Love it so much!
Thank you so much! I'll check it out, I think you're right ❤ I appreciate you letting me know. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
So many pretty crystals. I have an crystal obsession, i would have a hard time parting with any 🤣 Could you do a video with tools you could not have lived without. And also what is on your wish list ? 😁 Love your videos 😍
Hiya Lady Stardust, what a wonderful collection! I don't think there was a single stone I would not wear! There were so many stories, each and every one has its own tale to tell. Do you miss us yet dear lady? I hope and trust you've had a safe and easy trip home? Old Scottish saying, "We're no away to bide away!" We're not gone for good. Or, "I'll be back!" I'm trusting home cooking and your dad's vodka will get you turning out twice as many collections as before!!! Not to mention walking days out. Food in a backpack, water from a crystal stream, can it get better? Just pace yourself, please. And stay safe, both of you...Steve xx...
Hi Steve! Yes, we've arrived safely this afternoon and I'm barely keeping myself up :P just wanted to post this video and answer some comments, but it's definitely time to log out for a day and just sleep it off. Past few days were crazy. And I miss Bristol already (I know it may be funny, but I do!). I'm equally as excited to be home as I'm sad to be leaving England. Can't have both, at least not for now! But in the future? Maybe :) Happy you enjoyed this video, I;m very proud of this collection. I love seeing the stones of other people, so I thought I could show mine too haha :)

It's so nice of you to share your collection. I LOVE going through my craft stashes for inspiration and contemplation. I think a big part of the "making" process is the "collecting". 😉

This was great, and you have given me some new ideas about storing my gem stones-they are a bit of a mess right now! I like how the cards with the sticky tape keeps them well organized, visible, and not knocking against each other.
Happy you enjoyed these! I agree, these cards are a great way to organise gems, even if not put in a folder. It's an easy way to keep them in one place and easily organised. Thank you for watching!
To some, I add little stickers with prices and put them on their backs. The rest, I usually keep invoices ad they have photos, so it's easy for me to find them. I know it migth seem like there's too many gems to keep track of, but I actually know each one of them and remember where to check their info. But it helps to write the details on small stickers or pieces of paper and add to folders/drawers too!
