The book I am using doesn't go to 3050 era. It ends at 3049. Being it was the original Solaris box set players guide it ends at 3049 with Amanda Hamilton. His father who is arguably a more interesting character is mentioned while Kai is a later champion.
Why does he get to be the all time best pilot in the arena? I mean I am not saying I am that good, since I am more like a melon that has gained short term sentience. Give Verrak the annoying talk show guy, that would better fit.
