Corrie - Faye Windass & Grace (2013)

- Faye starts Weatherfield High School and makes friends with a girl named Grace who appears to be innocent, but actually is a troublemaker who tries to get Faye to become like her. However, Grace soon shows her true colours and encourages Faye to throw stones at Mary Taylor's caravan and to torment Nick Tilsley, who has recently suffered brain damage. Grace then forces Faye to put Simon Barlow into a dress and films the incident. Although Faye initially denies any wrongdoing, the video is soon found by Peter Barlow and Faye is forced to admit the truth. When the police become involved, Faye admits that Grace has been forcing her to do things by threatening not to be her friend anymore. Faye is given a caution and tells Anna that she and Grace are no longer friends. Anna reassures her she'll be able to make new friends and she can start to show people she is not really a bully.

I think I actually remember watching this storyline actually. It's just so sad that something like this can hapen with teenagers up and down the country.
They meet a friend at secondary school who they think is their friend, but then it turns out that so called friend is only out to get them into serious trouble and make life difficult for them.

The fact that a 10 year old Simon was more brave when it comes to standing up to Grace than Faye
I think it’s because Faye sees her everyday and she’s probably afraid that if she says something Grace will end the friendship and she will bully her

I think its important to watch this because when somebody is going through the same thing its hard to be like that and because ive been through the same thing in primary it hard it really is because i was like faye treet people how you want to be treated

Maybe Faye was being more involved with Grace’s other friends and we just didn’t see it on camera, but I don’t think anyone would go this far with a “friend” in real life. Faye should’ve dropped Grace after she was acting passive-aggressive toward her for the fifth time. She could’ve seen that Grace was having Faye bully Simon. Faye was even going to defend her friend after going to the POLICE for the assault incident, but thankfully, that’s when she cracked. Idk anyone who is so desperate for friends that they’d go this far without seeing that there’s probably something wrong with them and they’re not right for you.
