As a huge DC fan who grew up on DC: I can assure you with every ounce of my being that this Lois actress is going to deliver. She was the lead in the Marvelous Mrs Maisel and won multiple Emmys for a reason. She was very quick in that show. No disrespect to Amy Adams, but her Lois was not the Lois I grew up and knew. If they give the actress you saw in this trailer the right material she is going to be quick and clever and 100% Lois Lane. She will deliver. Honestly when I saw the casting for Lex and Lois I knew this was going to work. Lets go!
I'm so stoked. It made me laugh out loud over the can being thrown at his head, because I can't help but feel like it's shots fired at that The Boys scene, when Homelander kills a man for throwing a can at his son. That seems like something James Gunn would do, like firing back at those pessimistic (and eventually narcissistic) projects (even though he kind of made one!). I like a lot of what I'm seeing. That said, I need to see more of Clark versus Superman. How does he behave in each role? How does he talk? I literally don't care about any of the other characters, aside from if they make Lois some girlboss character (beyond what's canon for her). Also, random, but growing up and watching Supes in cartoons and in comics, I always thought Lex Luthor was a light-skinned black man, and I can't tell you why. So Smallville was a very jarring experience, and it's STILL jarring to this day lololol I'm sure he'll do the character justice
I'm pretty sure Kryptonite has something to do with Superman being so weak in the beginning after being in a fight. Maybe some is stuck inside him. Usually he would of healed or felt better soon after a fight, unless Kryptonite was involved. Part of me is thinking Lex made Kryptonite bullets and maybe shot Superman with one while he was fighting someone and the bullet is still in him.
It doesn't need to be kryptonite. Any being that is powerful could do that. Doomsday, Darkseid...a fight with any of them, he would be cut. Ultraman, or a take on Ultraman in this movie is probably the fight that caused the damage.
Like he said, some channels get wrecked by copyright, while others seem to manage to dodge the hell out of the system. The ones who have gotten clapped too many times pause like he does.
You’re clearly very good at this. What about watching the entire trailer so we can see body language and facial expressions w/o interrogation. Then, go back through it and comment/discuss your observations and feels. Regardless, keep it up!
I'm personally excited for both DC and Marvel 2025. I like what I see in Superman. Hopefully I'll be more excited with the 2nd Trailer.

I think Peacemaker is the only DCU project coming out next year. They're shooting Supergirl, Lanterns and Clayface soon though.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think MCU has Fantastic Four coming out next year around July too

Hope returns
If you don’t like this your not a hero fan. I love that you see the potential in this and Superman actually has hope and inspiration

Why don’t people play all the way through? I never understood pausing in the middle of a reaction.
Copyright We get hit by copy right if we don’t
