- Welcome to 24K Gold Music Shows!
"At the Hop" is a 50s pop song written by Artie Singer, John Medora, and David White and originally released by Danny & the Juniors. The song was released in the fall of 1957 and reached number one on the US charts on January 6, 1958, becoming one of the top-selling singles of 1958. "At the Hop" also hit number one on the R&B Best Sellers list. Somewhat more surprisingly, the record reached #3 on the Music Vendor country charts. It was also a big hit elsewhere, which included a number 3 placing on the UK charts.
The song returned to prominence after it was performed by rock and roll revival act Sha Na Na at the 1969 Woodstock Festival and featured in the 1973 coming-of-age teen comedy American Graffiti. Musically, it is notable for combining several of the most popular formulas in 1950s rock'n'roll, the twelve-bar blues, boogie-woogie piano, and the 50s progression. Видеоклипы

HELLO, PLEASE TELL ME WHERE CAN I GO TO SEE A SHOW LIKE THIS .......? FROM JOHN IN NORTH CAROLINA.
24K Gold Music Shows (originally Rockabilly U.S.) was an all-volunteer not-for-profit touring show that performed from March 2005 to March 2015. The show closed, because revenue did not cover expenses. Fortunately, nearly 1,000 hours of video survive.
There is a gospel group called Inspire 4, featuring some of the same girls. Check it out.
Not as entertaining as 24k gold
assume singing and dancing.
Without the 13 girls he wouldn't be on here.
Maybe...but he's pretty good. IMHO.
Specially, with that fake wig
Actually, without Doyle, the thirteen girls and the band would not be there. There is a lot of history in each video's comments section to help you understand.
End of a chapter on to gospel RUclips....not as good.
Their singing with 24K Gold is just that!
It would be nice if they showed a little enthusiasm I don't think they're having any fun
Sorry people, that is not the hop.
Better without
Guy
Looks like Trump singing 😂
