I used to love taking a stroll through the cemetery to see the really old gravestones. Can’t do that where I live now though, they don’t have cemeteries like that in japan

Thanks! I listen to my old ones sometimes to appreciate that I have made progress. There have been a lot of equipment upgrades since then, I’ve also secured permission to use the bgm I always wanted to (plus I was kinda drunk in the old ones because I never thought people would actually listen 😅)
Since I was a child, I had taken comfort in thinking that I would have a marble or granite slab that would commemorate my existence when I passed. I would have something that marked my name and life date. But when I became an adult, I realized I could never afford that. Well, at least no one will ever sit on my grave or walk across it.
Ever since I was young I’ve always wanted to just be put in the ground with a tree growing over the top. I did like the idea of a statue being made to commemorate me for a while but now I don’t really care what happens. Burn me to dust and scatter me anywhere. It’s better than having something built over the top once we inevitably run out of room
In the last story, it sounds as though a group of Wiccans may have been doing rituals in the far corner, based on the apples, candles, and incense left.
