I'll never understand people who refuse to believe their partner or friend or child when they see something frightening. How can they believe their own bs so much that they arent frightened by the idea that it might be true??? Like what would possess these people to lie to you about something that specific & scary. I haven't ever felt the need to discredit my friends when they have a scary encounter. Its even worse when parents tell their children they're wrong about actually dangerous situations involving strangers etc. Like what is even the point lmao
