Deedat used the Quran to show that the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel(Gospel) was sent down (S3:3) by Allah . For Christians, the Quran is never a word of God. There are not such thing as Injeel or Taurat sent down from heaven. The bible was not never sent from heaven but was written by many inspired writers. Deedat lied to muslims and non-muslims that Matthew said that Jesus went to certain place and preached the injeel gospel in Arabic. Back up what you said in the gospel of Matthew. The Quran nowhere makes a promise for divine protection of these books. For the Quran on the other hand, God has taken the responsibility for its preservation in His own hands: "Indeed We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will preserve it" (15:9). This promise has not been regarding any other book. With regards to 6:115, just looking at a couple of the authoritative commentaries of the Quran reveals that 'words' here refers to the promise of God, not to the literal words of God. And this is apparent from the translation which reads 'And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice.' The most famous commentary of the Quran, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, says regarding this part of the verse: "meaning, none can avert Allah's judgment whether in this life or the Hereafter." So what can be said is that the Quran is silent on the issue of the corruption of previous scriptures. However, the Bible being corrupted is something which we can ascertain for ourselves. Where is the original Bible today? It was the direct word of God, but now we only find Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Jesus had beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same. 8. Jesus followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Jesus’ mother Maryam dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59. 10. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasting up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1- Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards. 11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61. 12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.” 13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God ”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian. The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same. The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh): (i) "My Father is greater than I." [The Bible, John 14:28] (ii) "My Father is greater than all." [The Bible, John 10:29] (iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…." [The Bible, Mathew 12:28] (iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…." [The Bible, Luke 11:20] (v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." [The Bible, John 5:30] 2. The Mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) - to Fulfill the Law Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." We must have same definition or meaning of the truth/true/right. We must use same method to determine the truth/true/right. Believe => claim = test/check = see. This is normally practice by everybody when we buy/accept something/good which is expensive from other people(we see or we do not see). Example: We buy a black pen in the shop was produced/manufactured by Marker(do not see) cost around 10K USD. Producer/Manufacturer(do not see) claim, It is a black pen. The salesperson(can see) also claim, it is a black pen. Outside (can see), the apparent is black in colour. Inside(ink, can not see), we not sure, it is black or blue or other colour. So, we have to test/check it. Take white paper and write to it to confirm it. It is black. When I see, it is black. It is true/right. I believe/trust it. So, I buy/accept it without any doubt. If you do not want to test/check, it is up to you. It is your money. It is your life. Our life is only one chance given by god(can not see). God understands that this must be our standard to reach to the best of our ability, and all perfection is God’s, not available to our world. This is extremely important and something I think about when I start doubting my faith. If it’s not made clear enough yet: It’s also said that Moses’s 2nd slabs were not the best version, he was going off his own memory. But God did not forsake this new version that was the 2nd slabs. God’s approval was first demonstrated by the geyser from the Rock, which was a message they had arrived.

Deedat used the Quran to show that the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel(Gospel) was sent down (S3:3) by Allah . For Christians, the Quran is never a word of God. There are not such thing as Injeel or Taurat sent down from heaven. The bible was not never sent from heaven but was written by many inspired writers.
Deedat lied to muslims and non-muslims that Matthew said that Jesus went to certain place and preached the injeel gospel in Arabic. Back up what you said in the gospel of Matthew. Besides, Jesus spoke Aramaic and Hebrew. Arabic came around 7 AD after Christianity.

The preservation of the Torah was delegated to the scholars: "Verily, We did send down the Tawrat, therein was guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah’s Will, judged for the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged for the Jews by the Tawrat after those prophets], for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book, and they were witnesses thereto.” [5:44] Likely the same case with the Injeel. The Quran nowhere makes a promise for divine protection of these books.
For the Quran on the other hand, God has taken the responsibility for its preservation in His own hands: "Indeed We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will preserve it" (15:9). This promise has not been regarding any other book.
With regards to 6:115, just looking at a couple of the authoritative commentaries of the Quran reveals that 'words' here refers to the promise of God, not to the literal words of God. And this is apparent from the translation which reads 'And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice.' The most famous commentary of the Quran, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, says regarding this part of the verse: "meaning, none can avert Allah's judgment whether in this life or the Hereafter."
So what can be said is that the Quran is silent on the issue of the corruption of previous scriptures. However, the Bible being corrupted is something which we can ascertain for ourselves. Where is the original Bible today? It was the direct word of God, but now we only find Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Also, just as a comment, we read the Quran in its original language, Arabic. Where is the Bible in its original language? The original text doesn't exist. The Quran has been preserved in its original language, and that is a testament to its authenticity.

Christians and Muslims are more alike than different.
1. Jesus taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29.
Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.
2. Jesus didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7, and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145.
3. Jesus greeted with the words “as salaamualaikum” (Peace be with you) in John 20:21. Muslims also greet each other this way.
4. Jesus always said “God Willing” (inshallah), Muslims say this too before doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses 18:23-24.
5. Jesus washed his face, hands, and feet before praying. The Muslims do the same.
6. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible offerd prayer with their head to the ground (see Matthew 26:39). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse 3:43.
7. Jesus had beard and wore a throbe. It is Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
8. Jesus followed the law and believed in all the prophets, (see Matthew 5:17). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an
verses 3:84, and 2:285.
9. Jesus’ mother Maryam dressed modestly by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf (hijab) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65, and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim women modestly dress the same as taught in the Qur’an verse 33:59.
10. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasting up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1- Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards.
11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.
12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.”
13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God ”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same.
The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can easily see the similarity in their pronunciation so this concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist.

Position of Jesus (peace be on him) in Islam:

Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).

We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt).
(iii)
We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.

We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.
(iv)
We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission.
II
CONCEPT OF GOD IN CHRISTIANITY:

Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity
One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):
(i) "My Father is greater than I."

(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]
(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]
(iv) "…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."
[The Bible, Luke 11:20]
(v) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."

The Mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) - to Fulfill the Law
Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."

People fall ill all the time, doesn't mean it's gods punishment for spreading the truth.. was abit too late to take away his voice when he was on his death bed. Why didn't god take his voice away years ago? Many people became muslim through ahmed deedat and years of spreading the truth.

The titles "The Gospel According to" is always an addition of the publisher. Such titles are not found in the early manuscripts of the New Testament. Such titles do NOT lay question to the veracity of the books, they simply announce whose book it is. We DO know who wrote them, we know it from early martyrs like Polycarp, and we DO know when they were written because our early manuscripts date to the 2nd century, just decades after they were written.

How to believe/trust?. How to believe what books/people say or write? Firstly, we have to find which religion is truth/true/right. How? We must have same definition or meaning of the truth/true/right. We must use same method to determine the truth/true/right. Believe => claim = test/check = see. This is normally practice by everybody when we buy/accept something/good which is expensive from other people(we see or we do not see).
Example: We buy a black pen in the shop was produced/manufactured by Marker(do not see) cost around 10K USD. Producer/Manufacturer(do not see) claim, It is a black pen. The salesperson(can see) also claim, it is a black pen. Outside (can see), the apparent is black in colour. Inside(ink, can not see), we not sure, it is black or blue or other colour. So, we have to test/check it. Take white paper and write to it to confirm it. It is black. When I see, it is black. It is true/right. I believe/trust it. So, I buy/accept it without any doubt. If you do not want to test/check, it is up to you. It is your money. It is your life. Our life is only one chance given by god(can not see). When we die, we see the truth, we can not go back in this world(can see). It is too late. I obey what Allah say in Al Quran surah Al asr (The Time) 103(30): recommend one another to the truth. If everybody can see god and his power, there is only one religion. No free will. Have to ask permission, when to do something. Everybody fear to god. Everybody have to obey the command/law/rule from that god only. No arrogant people/man. Man become humble. like plant, bee, animal, moon, sun, stars. For sure this world is peacefully.

If a Fasiq (liar-evil person) comes to you with and news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done. Please open Bible John 4:1. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test to see whether they are from God, for false prophets have gone out into the world. We test and verify the claim/message words of god from Bible (can see), Torah (can see), Al Quran(can see), and other religion books(can see). We must get/see same result(claim=test/check=see) or not. God(can not see) create man(can see). Man worship god. Question: How is god create man? What Method? God create man from ground dust(Torah,Bible, Quran) or man rib(Torah, Bible,Quran) or woman only(Bible,Quran) or Nutfah(mix drop of male (sperm) and female sexual(female egg cell/ova) discharge)-Quran, 1440 years ago, they did not see it, but now, we can see it by using electron microscopy. Or other religion books or other book?. We do testing/experimenting/checking to verify it, by using these method to create man. Everybody can test/experiment/check, verify and see it. Which method can create/produce man?.Answer: The claim/message/words of god in Al Quran is truth/true/right.
Conclusion: Certainly, we can create man by this method (claim by Al Quran). Al Quran is truth/true/right. Allah create man. Man belong to Allah. Man have to obey Allah rule/law. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was the last prophet sent by Allah to us. This religion is truth/true/right. So, we have to believe/trust it . Please, read Al Quran and think. You get the answer. It was reported by Mujahid from Ibn `Abbas that what is meant by Ahl Adh-Dhikr is the People of the Book.
This is as Allah says:
(Say: "Glorified be my Lord! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger'' And nothing prevented men from believing when the guidance came to them, except that they said: "Has Allah sent a man as (His) Messenger'') (17:93-94)
(And We never sent before you (O Muhammad) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets.) (25:20)
(And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that did not eat food, nor were they immortals.)(21:8)

Moses was told the Revelation which he inscribed on the slabs, later broke the slabs in rage, and inscribed new ones. It implies that his people were not ready or deserving of the Word of God, and it implies that spoken (Mishnah Torah) is always the best, and God’s Dictations are obviously ideal but they’re lost in the physical world. The point of this is that we humans have the best that we can have materially in our Holy Books (verbal and reading versions), thus it’s all we have to observe, for nothing better is available to us. And God asks no more of us than the closest to the heavens possible (for we are merely from Adom, and partially mixed with the Nephilim). God understands that this must be our standard to reach to the best of our ability, and all perfection is God’s, not available to our world. This is extremely important and something I think about when I start doubting my faith.
