    i saw this in winnipeg, standing in the back yard of my parents' modest dwelling with my dad.
    i will never forget it.

    Being from Manitoba I was present during this eclipse. But, only 3 years old. I'm happy I made the trip south to see 2017's eclipse in the US. And I will be making the trip somewhere to see 2024's.

    I was 7. Say behind the patio door at home with my dad. I wore his big black Welder helmet. It was cool. He held black garbage bags in front of his eyes

      I was in Massachusetts where it was cloudy that day. I watched it on TV, maybe PBS, and the expert narrating the event was fantastic. I don't remember what he said but, even at 11, I was impressed by his eloquence.

      Well yeah it’s still cool, but eclipses happen pretty regularly, about 4 times. Can watch it happen many times a year, on tv

      Even with our HD cameras today, it still doesn’t capture the moment. I could see the corona/solar flares coming from the sun. It was the most amazing thing I ever witnessed.
