Thank you Nate. I bought this Rigid Nailer several years ago and I have used it four times with no problems. I always watch this video prior to using it. Something we all need to remember when using any nail gun. Be careful when holding the work piece. Do not put your fingers where, if a nail hits a knot, it may come out the side of the work piece and into your finger. Thank you again Nate. And thank you for the chuckle. I didn't register my tool either for the lifetime warranty.
Hey Nate good review as I am getting a new one and it will be this one. The reason not to put it on a belt clip connected to air is a safety issue. Always disconnect air when you can. Misfire and tripping injures are avoided.
Thank you. Great video. I purchased this gun this morning. The Portal Cable gun that I used for 15 years shot it’s last nail. Looking forward to using this Ridgid.
All the time when i buy some tools i used youtube first before buy some, is more better check videos the tools is good or not Thanks for this video now i go to home depot buy my own nail gun 🤠!!!
You've had a good amount of time to use it. How has it been since you reviewed the Nailer. Does it jam up frequently and what the long term quality of the nailer.
Hi Nate, I’m already sold on the tool and I’m ready to purchase. What psi or value Bar are you running at? The tool has been affordable to me and I need an affordable compressor as well. Any reply is useful, thank you for the review!
I'm pretty sure it is oak. I think it was a scrape from a cabinet build that is why it has stain on one side of it. Any wood sleuths out there? I'm okay with being wrong.
That is absolutely garbage! I bought one and it worked for 5 days and stopped working and I went back to Home Depot they gave me a new one brought home and 2 months later and dead ! Garbage 🤢
Thanks.. I bought this tool at a swap meet and although it's new it had the wrong manual in it. The video was very informative. Thanks..

Looking forward to using this Ridgid.
Thank you the manual came with no diagrams so this was most helpful.
Great detailed video - just bought it and wanted information and this was perfect. Take care
Ridgid makes great tools. I seriously don’t understand why people pay 3 times the price for Milwaukee and Makita.
6:30 for tool demo
Trying to add some trim to my living room after just laying vinyl floors. Think this is gonna be a worthy investment :)
Thank you 👍🏽
Awesome thanks very very much! Helpful for me!!
Thanks bro.
Great demo, thanks a lot!
My pleasure!
Can I use for exterior trim
Hi sir how I will adjust pressure to do flat nail without hole on trim ?
I'm going to doing some wood wall planks tomorrow with this gun I just picked up. Should I counter sink the brad nails?
I would counter sink just below the surface and wood putty to hide the nail.

No complaints, no jam ups. Thanks for the question.
@@natelarge thank you so much for letting me know
Awesome job 👍
Thanks, Can you use generic brads? Or do you have to buy specific RIGID Brads?
Generic brads work
@@natelarge thanks
Can I use staples with the gun
no
Great video
What air pressure were you using? ~100PSI?
yep

120 PSI or 8.3 Bar.
for most uses you can get away with 100 psi with most 18 g nailers.
Very nice! Thank you very much
Great video! New subscriber. Thanks for posting!
Thank u.
Thanks a lot very useful u smart
Mine don’t bail ever time you pull the trigger!
My gun is not sinki g nails and iam holdind it down what do i do
check you have enough PSI going to the bradnailer and then adjust the depth with the dial near the trigger
@@natelarge did all that and still no good
Need to tell people clock wise or counter clock wise for depth..
Can this be used for baseboards?
Definitely
That doesn't look like oak

Nate you might as well let it go bud 😂 I know it’s hard I did it
