Portuguese pioneers Moonspell first brought the dark flames to their native country - and then set the rest of the world aflame with milestones such as Irreligious or Night Eternal. Indeed eleventh studio album Extinct erects another monument to sundowns and those dark hours and lets Fernando Ribeiro`s sombre vocals collide with modern riffing, blackened melodies and operatic grandeur. Always one step ahead of the rest, always resisting all genre boundaries!

They are fantasic Live! I saw them 16 years ago in Mesa, Arizona. They did two sets because they didn't want to go back to the tour bus. Such a great night.

Theres investment, its just in portugal most musicians struggle because most drummers are self taught and can't play in the pocket. No matter the genre there is lack of investment educationally when it comes to music but the industry is there for the taking, its an open field in fact.

I first heard of Moonspell around 13 years ago, getting my hands on "Irreligious" and loving it from the first note to the last. Since 5 years ago, I've started watching the newly released videos and I can gladly say this is one of the few bands who was and STILL IS awesome! There are lots of bands who switch styles so often that one can't even guess which era is what, but even in this song, I hear their original Moonspell sound, and I'm loving it. Portugal strikes again. Love you guys!
P.S.: This song is way too addictive!
"Irreligious" was so different from the "Wolfheart" that some fans decided to quit be a real fan of a Moonspell band ;)
I haven't seen that logo since the Antidote Era, I really loved that album so I'm glad you used the logo again and I'm really looking forward for the rest of the album
i didnt know Moonspell before i saw them here in belgium, except a couple of songs, Moonspell live is a amasing band, in november i gonna see them again in Eindhoven, cant wait😊

the song is bland, the "harsh" vocals are atrocious and the snare is so ridiculously overpowered a st anger style production would be an improvement

PEPE BARBOSA Personally i think it was their pinnacle and after that they turned to more “format” music. It was masterpiece in general more than just metal album.

Another great work by Moonspell. After the great album that was Alpha Noir/Omega White the expectations for this one where surelly high and i think it not disapointed the fans, surelly its a little different in what genre concerns but its still very consistent and powerful. Definitlly worth to be listened.

Since the album 'Sin/Pecado' they disappeared out of my perception for long time. And then I was curious how the band might have developed all over the years. I'm positively surprised, good song.
