You’re light years more natural in front of the camera, there’s no forced hype, just fluid nerf speak from a guy who knows his stuff. Editing and all that kept it moving so we weren’t just watching you talk, and Jesus that is a gorgeous build. What a video
I’m really happy that all these kits have came out for it, they look really nice and they’re the only thing that the stryfe had been doing better, new kits could make the stryfe almost obsolete

I started nodding this last year and have yet to do a fly wheeler. Long story short I’m prepping to mod a spectrum and I’m curious if you went ahead with the short darts? Would love an update video since this blaster seemed to have such potential in general!
@@drflux definitely still want to mod this. It was the first blaster I bought for myself when I got back into nerf. It has had a place in my heart since. I was just curious about the short dart as most of what I’ve been seeing is horror stories about the pusher.
So I ordered some parts from pro foam, and they all came in one bag. So I started working on my nexus and conquest and kept coming up with parts that didnt fit anywhere...it wasn't until just now I remembered.. I bought three kits, the third being the short dart kit for the spectrum! Oy yo yo. Wish they would have separated the parts and labeled the bags

Great vid DF! I've printed many of these already for my Spectrum. Daybreak cage, twilight wheels, fang revamps on 2s plus printed body parts. The Spectrum, along with the Nexus Pro have the capability to fundamentally change the hobby going forward - easy to argue that the BP has already done that. Can't wait to see what's next for the Spectrum line, I sure do hope DZ continues to make them. On the off chance they don't... I just found a backup Spectrum at Goodwill for $1.99! Better stock up now. Lol.
Just watched this video, however, I have a great question about the motors,why does your electric motors have air vents and My stryfe doesn't? Do I need to put air vents on my blaster?
depending on the build motors can over heat. If you are running a build with super high crush for long periods of time your motors can get very hot. the vents help them cool

i didn't do the short dart upgrade yet just too many things coming through the lab. I do recommend this platform still its really a great blaster
