I felt so lost on where to begin but now I feel confident in going ahead. You explain everything in such detail which is very hard to find here on RUclips. I've got a question about kittle, I researched a few different programs and was leaning towards corjl. Are you familiar with corjl? Would you still recommend kittle?
    Also do you know if you can sell using two different design programs from the same shop?
    Would appreciate your help!

    Before investing in Etsy, it's crucial to research the reasons behind the frequent suspensions of many sellers and the lack of proper communication from Etsy. Building a brand on Etsy may not be worth the effort. Instead, I recommend focusing on developing your own brand. The time investment is similar, but the rewards of going the extra mile and creating a unique brand identity are much greater.

    • @SandraDi
      @SandraDi  3 месяца назад +14

      You have a very great point! I always recommend building your own brand as well. However I will say that Etsy is a great place to start when you have no digital marketing experience :). Since there is an existing audience to tap into. Both can be done at the same time. Personally when my shop got suspended, I appealed it and they were able to open it up in less than 10 days. It was an error on their end. I know it's annoying - it shouldn't happen at all in my opinion! But yes there are definitely pros and cons!

    Thank you for all this information. I would like to know if you have any tips on how I could sell artwork digitally for household items. I like the card ideas that were shown. • @SandraDi
      @SandraDi  3 месяца назад

      Hii! I base the sizes I choose on competitor research mainly! So if you have this particular digital product idea in mind, search it on Etsy and click on some of the listings on the first page. Read their description to see what sizes they are offering and that will give you an idea! Hope that helps :)

    This was the best, most informative tutorial! Thanks so much for this. I'm wondering (as far as organization goes) where do you put your infographics/photo cards? Do you put them in the product folder or do you have a separate folder in the general Etsy folder? I'm pretty organized, but sometimes I tend to overthink. LOL Your process seems very close to how I would organize my files as well.

    Thanks for the video Sandra. I just created Etsy shop but I was asked to pay "one-time set-up fee" which is US$15. I'd like to know if you can tell me the difference between Kittl and Canva. I have little design experience or knowledge. I've ben using Canva for a couple years and it's been a slow-going process. One reason is that the elements in Canva are restricted. Any ideas I've tried to create to sell have been due to lack of artistic creativity and not understanding how to design from scratch. Is Kittl worth my time to try and learn from scratch, or should I continue using Canva? I absolutely love and cherish your work. I've digested much of it, but now it's time to get off the fence and do the real work: taking action. I once asked if you did consultations but you were pregnant and the timing wasn't right!

    Btw, A4 is not an Imperial Page Size, it is an International Page size used around the world, therefore it is in millimetres.
    If you are going to sell an A4 page, especially sellers, they should know the International paper sizes and that format is not in inches. A smart seller understands or should learn both page size systems AND both measurement systems.
    Digital art is all about measurements and mathematics.

    I have a digital product that's been incredibly useful for RUclips channels, helping me significantly boost views despite having very few subscribers. However, I'm hesitant to sell it on Etsy because of the high risk of idea theft on the platform. While I want to attract traffic, I also want to protect my idea.
    Do you have any advice or a video on this topic, particularly concerning Etsy?

    • @SandraDi
      @SandraDi  3 месяца назад +1

      Hii! Have you done some research on Etsy to see if similar products are selling on there? The reason I ask is because I wonder if that specific target customer is looking on Etsy for what you are offering! :)
      If so, it is always a possibility that people will try to "steal" your idea or create something far too similar. But from my experience, if you are offering a quality product, regardless of new competitors coming in, you will still make sales if your listing is optimized and you are promoting it consistently. I hope that helps a bit!
