I see that you said there are four xenyx preamps on board but there are 6 xlr inputs. Please forgive my ignorance but does that mean that the other channels don't have the xenyx preamps? Thanks.
I have the same question. I’m confused as to why 2 of the xlr inputs don’t have preamps and how that would affect there functionality
For attaching monitors, do you simply use a quarter inch jack into the Mon connector? Is it possible to add more that one monitor?

USB audio interface can support multi track or only stereo track ?
The X1222USB records a Stereo track to your Computer DAW equivalent to your MAIN LR Mix Bus, not as a multitrack recording.
What setting or button is used to get signal into the daw through USB?
Is there a distortion and overdrive effect included in the FX section on this mixer? And what is the main difference between this mixer and the X1622usb?

Yes you can Nazir, on this board linked channels 5/6 and 7/8 can each be used is a single Mic input for each or can be used for as stereo line inputs.
