i dont know how ive never seen this before? beautifully compelling, with the sort of tension that could keep the audience on the edge of their seats the whole time - rarely pulled off, but when it was here it could easily blow time-tested classics such as Mulan and Die Hard 2 out of the water. the deep exploration of interpersonal relationships was something just. so astonishingly fresh? the interaction between shouwu and ritsu was something unparalleled in depth and the influence each character has on the other is subtle enough not to be explicitly shoved in your face, yet it can be noted enough to reflect onto the societal value of relationships in the real world (i almost teared up when sho u reassured ritsu right when they got into new york.. it was such an emotionally charged moment, yet it worked out in the end because of the unrelenting trust between the two. something that should also be treasured in real life). i almost can't believe that a piece like this is sitting on youtube when it could easily be submitted into a film festival instead. overall, this is just incredible, but the actor for ritsi wasnt edgy enough to be true to the character so im giving this a 9 ,
