I would say it looks dumb but that's what I said about Binding of Isaac and that turned out to be great so I'm just going to assume by now that Edmund knows what he's doing and not question his genius

I just heard on the Northernlion Interview with Edmund about he being back at it again with mewgenics and i just had to listen to this again, I can't believe Im still hyped bout it

You'd be suprised. The A.I in this game is incredibly complex, Tommy Refenes talked alot about it at PAX

I'm quite looking forward to this game ^^ It's right up my alley. The style may be 'simple' but from what's been released so far the music is very flavorful in a good way, the breeding aspect and several different options on what to breed + just the crazy-cat-collector premise really looks appealing (I imagine I'm not the only breeding-sim nut who loves just breeding ALL THE THINGS just to see what pops out, right?).
Plus is Isaac-style mutations and 'cute' take on gross stuff just looks like it'll keep me coming back for hours (if not days/weeks/mounths/etc) of gameplay. Can't wait for more info released and really itching to get my hands on a demo/the game itself >D

If you consider the cat humping a big deal, (which it really isn't) then you don't know what you're in for if you're planning on buying this game for your kid, Edmund is known for his dark humor which we can see from SMB and TBOI and I feel there'll be a lot of the same in this game, which is awesome lol.

I really like Edmund M's art style, it's simple but twisted.
Infact, the main scientist reminds me of the background mad scientist from Spewer, one of my favourite flash games.
Makes sense since Edmund McMillen also made Spewer
A good looking game isn't necessarily about how detailed the graphic are, it's about how consistent they are. Sticking to a simple style is extremely clever in this case. Anyway I think the graphics are awesome as they are, a 5 year old couldn't do stuff like this.
