I love the little LED light units that you can get, I have a similar one but not a light sabre! Such fun to play around with ordinary objects like this.
These LED lights are amazingly versatile things. I wouldn't be without them now. The light stick is obviously far less pocketable, but the uses it has are very different from the small squares. If you look in my community posts, you'll find a shot of a small gin bottle and that catch light across the shoulders of the bottle is this LED stick.
Very nice video. Workshop LED, LED video lights and an app that generates different colors, plus different colored backgrounds, all for very little money, the photo studio is ready. It's all lying around here... That's why I find your videos so inspiring, you manage to awaken the joy of photography again and again with very few resources.
Perfect day here for this video. The weather here is keeping me inside pretty much all day, as well. I consider myself challenged to see what I can come up with here.
Cheers, John. It's all about looking at things differently. Lots of things have amazing potential. Watch out for some ideas with waste products before long.
Hi, Andrew. This is an inspiring video. The only limitation you have is the creativity of the photographer. Everything is possible and you can spend hours doing it. Thank you for sharing this video. Antoine.
Great video. Love the opening line: "I live in a laundry". Love the closing line: "There's a fly around here, it's really annoying me." And I love all in between. Good job. This was fun.
Hi Andrew. Are these small lights better than the blue and yellow ones you used previously where you gave a good apt message to putin at the start of the video? I’m now looking at possibly a larger fill light with 2 cube type lights to start taking macro/close ups more seriously. With the weather changing it’s time to start thinking of creating abstract style shots like you’ve been showing. Thanks again, your a great scourge of motivation. Ps sorry about the additional comment btw
The new ones from K&F are definitely better than the Ulanzi ones I have been using for a few years. Perhaps a little more expensive, but the ease of use and functions outweigh the few extra pennies and I also have a 15% discount code. geni.us/KFSquarelight - 15% discount with Andrew15. You can daisychain these lights together if you need. But, if you need more light, consider the other one I used in this video: ruclips.net/video/E9WoLfOD9-U/видео.html
Would love to have a go at this but it so happens the trusty oly om10 mkII has developed a serious issue so i have to make a replacement a priority. Will definately have a shot at it once i decide on the camera replacement. Edging to an oly ep7 atm. Keep up the videos, some really good content.
@@AndyBanner no just the 10 mk2. I am looking at some reviews and will decide on a camera in the next day or two. I do know though that the new arrivals first photoshoot will be down my towns sea wall after viewing your great shots especially of the sea wall erosion ( btw my favs were the contrasty mono ones 😀)
@ricalex67 - Here's a link to the E-P7 for about £550 but if you also use TopCashBack.co.uk, you could get 5.25% cach back too. explore.omsystem.com/gb/en/e-p7 Worth a look or there's this on FB market place = facebook.com/marketplace/item/3579707639006904/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Addba4176-3b8d-4e63-a78f-cac28d792e2e
@@AndyBanner cheers andrew. They only have white i see but i could be tempted. Ive just been contacted by a friend who said i could have his spare om10 mk2 for £100 in v good condition. Im just wondering though if i should spend the extra on a newer model like the ep7. If only i could afford both 😜
Sorry if I’m hijacking your comments Andrew but I’d love one more piece of advice if I may ask? I’ve just been given a chance of a lumix gx9 for a very good price. Have you got experience of the gx Linux range? I’m wondering if there are issues with the Olympus lenses and a lumix body. I know there’s reports of them the other way around.
seeing the bottle opener reminded me of a fun video concept. I watched this drummer fellow as he attempted to play a reasonably complex drum part from a song. the angle is that between each "take" he took a shot or two of Jack Daniels! I wonder whether there is some brave photographer out there (not me, I don't drink alcohol let alone JD!) who could do something similar. I also wonder that if someone did undertake this challenge how the images would progress (or otherwise) in terms of quality and the diversity of things photographed?! as usual Andy you've knocked this one out of the park 🙂
That was a very interesting video - I've added this to my list of photography projects to attempt this winter 😊
Great stuff Andrew. I'm saving this video and will be coming back to it for a winter project, as winters in Canada are bloody long and bloody cold.
Sounds great! But don't wait until winter.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
Thanks
Thank you very much. Your support is most welcome. I am humbled.
Realy beautiful photos!!!!
Thank you very much!
Loved the photos & the ideas ! 💡💡💡................
Thanks. Hope you get some cracking shots
Thank you Andrew
Thanks for watching

Thank you. Very kind words
I always look forward to your videos Andy. Thanks for sharing, and all the work you put into them.
My pleasure, thank you
Absolutely loved this video! It's amazing how everyday objects can transform into stunning abstract art with a bit of creativity.
Hey, thanks Wendy - much appreciated.
Perfect day here for this video. The weather here is keeping me inside pretty much all day, as well. I consider myself challenged to see what I can come up with here.
You can do it! Your drawers and cupboards will be full of things that can be photographed in interesting ways
Thanks for your entertaining in interesting videos. This video particulary has inspired me to do some macro with objects at home.
Go for it, Owen. Thanks for the support
I see someone who takes the ordinary and makes it art! I’ve used office items whilst working from home, or at the office!
Office items are great for this too. And hand tools.
Thanks, Victor.
Excellent video, it's amazing how you can photograph every day objects around the house, and they look awesome.
Cheers, John. It's all about looking at things differently. Lots of things have amazing potential. Watch out for some ideas with waste products before long.

Thanks, Antione. Hope you're well.
Hey that's a whisk!
Shush! I don't think anybody has noticed....
Amen on the brush, especially if you own pets.
I always have a brush to hand. Keep one in my camera bag too

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
Very interesting and creative video.
Thank you
Just laughing of happiness when. I. Watched this video. In all its simplicity it is very inspiring. As always. Take care Göran in Latvia
Thank you, Göran
Another great video Andy, your thought process and vision brought out some great images, my favourite were the images of the whisk.
Cheers, Steve.
There's always something to photograph, nice video. Happy I found your channel.
Welcome aboard!
Really appreciate your videos.
Very inspirational, as always 👍
Thank you so much
Andrew which of us forgot to take our medication? 😂
On a serious note some great ideas, thanks 📷 👍
I appear to have forgotten that I am on medication...... :-)

Oh no, rotten luck. There's a real bargain deal on the ep7 right now. Thought you had an em1 also?
