Bless thank you 🙏 I really don’t like to rush things, I like to show everything and make sure it is easy to understand. Trust me if you was to see some of the messages I get you would cry with laughter 😂
Always look forward to your videos which are not too long, more like not long enough with your usual great ideas, I love the idea of live videos. Will be trying the milk and paint, I always have problems with little bits of dust etc that get in the milk but they are usually able to be cropped out. Thanks again Lee. Cheers from down under.
Hi my friend thank you for stopping to send me a kind message. I will be trying to swap the times around so my dear friend from down under can get involved. I have so many followers and friends like your self in Australia
Muskoka is an iconic area of Ontario's cottage country located approximately 200 km north of Toronto.Striking landscapes, abundant wildlife and charming lakeside communities make Muskoka one of Ontario's most cherished natural playgrounds.
Hi there my friend you are making me so jealous I just want to pack my bags and jump on an airplane. It really is my dream to visit one day. I love my canoeing and mountain biking so I would be in my element. Thank you for your interaction it really does mean a lot to me
We used to do this sort of experiment at kindergarten when I taught there. We used food colouring in the milk. The detergent reacts with the fat in the milk not the paint and so it works best with full fat milk. I think you'll find that acrylic paint is water based, that's why it dries so quickly. Paint and ink provide different reactions too. It's fun to try both.
Wow I will definitely have to check that out the paint I was using I a mix between acrylic and a water based one. But I will definitely have a go at what you are telling me thank you ever so much your a star
The hoodie is from the northern part of Canada. As usual another bang on tutorial. The pictures taken with the lighting under the clear dish work better for me. I hope you do decide to do the live show. That would be a great idea.
Hi there my friend you are so right about the hoodie. I like both the bottom lights one seems to be soft and gentle where the top one seems to be more defined. I am going to start working on the live as I am getting a lot off good feedback from it. I think it will be good 👍
Muskoka is just 2 hours North of Toronto Ontario Canada. It is one of the most beautiful places you would see in your life. Muskoka is very well established as Cottage Country and there are people from all over the world come for time to get away. Notable people who have cottages in Muskoka are Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel, along with a lot of the old SCTV crew like Dave Thomas, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis and a hoist of others including David Lee Roth and some of the boys from Van Halen. If you are ever looking from a peaceful get away fly into Toronto and rent a car and head north for about a 90 minute drive and that is when all the beauty starts,
Muskoka! The playground of Ontario, Canada. Only a few hours drive from where I live, it's an awesome place all year round for photography. I go there as often as possible.
Hi Lee, Another wonderful video! When you first showed us the drops on copper wire I actually did it. The only way the drops would stay was by using 2 wires together. I will definitively try this new way to do it. Thanks again for a great video.
Hi my friend I also have used 2 pieces of wire and 3 it gives off some great effects. Don’t worry about using one piece when you can use 2 or 3 it’s different and different if fantastic
My pleasure. Your videos are always informative and easy to follow. Canada is a wonderful country. I live on the Pacific coast of Canada., and think it is quite beautiful. @@LeeHallphotography
Happy shooting! I'm new to macro period. I do have a nice 1:1 macro lens and a raynox dcr 250. You have opened my eyes to the abstract side of macro photography. I'm a huge fan and thank your for the ideas. I have bought everything I need for background reflection cards in the form of shiny gift bags at my local dollar tree store. Keep doing what you're doing. You are the man.
Ahhh Lee😊 So lovely to have you back. I was getting worried as I know first hand about living with depression, but how cool, you’re going to UNI 😮🥸🤓 I really missed your videos, ideas, inspiration, sense of humour and your wonderful presentation style. I was chuckling to myself throughout this video as I could see little Lee having some fun, playing around with colours and making a bit of a mess as boys do😊 Really lovely to see. I can feel little cogs in my brain turning once again in a way that only you can inspire. I have spent days, weeks, months in my own little world photographing droplets, playing with feathers, oil and colours, milk, glue guns, ink in fish tanks (that got messy🤪) smart light bulbs, aluminium foil, crikey I’ve got a whole storage box full of different props inspired by your ideas. Love it!! And you’ve inspired me again, better get that box out, clean away the dust and get happy snapping😁 Your videos are perfect mate, not too long, not too short. I’ve spent hours and hours watching your videos and love them all. So keep doing what you do!! You are very much appreciated and you are loved 🥰 Live videos sound cool, not sure how I’ll go with the time difference to Sydney, but will certainly try my best to follow along. Woohoo, Lees back 🥳😎🥰🙏👍 📷 💡 🎊 🎉
Wow god bless you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ you have just brought a tear to my eyes reading this magnificent message. You really don’t know how much I really appreciate your kindness and support. This message is priceless to me. I have always said I don’t want to make money or be a professional, all I want is to inspire people and if I can make one person happy I will be happy and I think I have truly done this I hope lol 😂 Uni has been a bit tough to be fair, having to change the way I am and my style of photography but it really has learnt me a lot to be fair. But this year is all about me having fun 🤩 and getting my head back into Lee mode lol 😂 Plus I have to catch up with my RUclips family that has supported me over the years. We will sort something out with the times or I might do one just for the people down under as there is a fair few subscribers that live in Australia. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏👍🙏👌
Hi Bev thank you ever so much for your kindness and support. I will be definitely be doing some lives, I am going to work on setting it all up and working out a time and date that hopefully will work
Hi Lee, It's wonderful to have you back. I learn so much from you. I tried the 'Water and Oil' photography from the last video and got a few good photos. I will definitively try this one as well. Thank you.
Hi my friend thank you for sending me such a wonderful message I am so so glad you have managed to get some good pictures it really make it all worthwhile.
Hi my friend thank you ever so much for your kind words. It is my dream to visit one day you have such a wonderful country you should be very proud. I don't think I would come home if I was over there lol
Some great creative photography. As a thought, wonder what would happen if you shone the light onto the foil card you use, and get it reflect onto the surface, like a mirror. With the holographic foil, you could end up with a great array of colours shining onto the milk and making the paint change colours. Worth experimenting with.
Hi buddy you have got my mind thinking now. I really think you might be onto a fantastic idea. If it works as good as it does with my dandelion shots it could be totally awesome 🤩
Thank you for your kind comment. I will be working on the live stream I think it will be nice to chat and catch up with you all. And talk about your photography

Greetings Lee once again I Thank you for this rainy/ snow day activity. You started getting me back into the creative mood. Starting with the oil and water, now milk paintings. Know as far as the video length they seem just right. As far as doing a live gathering. Since we have a good 6 hours time difference I don't think I'll be able to participate. Ultimately it will be up to you.
Hi my friend thank you ever so much I really appreciate your support. I am glad I have given you some inspiration to have a go trust me it’s easy and fun. Where about are you in this big world of ours.
Great to see a new video so soon. I think the live cast is a great idea. You just need to pick a time that you think will work best with all you're international subscribers.

I am sooo glad I found you on RUclips!!! You are so helpful and kind sharing all of these ideas. You are such a great teacher! You make it easy to understand how to capture amazing macro images. And your honesty about your struggles is so admirable. Thank you for your videos!! I am excited to catch up by watching all of them! God Bless!
Wow thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support. Welcome to my RUclips family. I am so so happy to have you on board if at any time you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!! The best photographer in the world mentioned my name! You didn't mention that I proudly wear a Lee Hall hoodie. As usual, your video demonstrates a great photography idea that us amateur photographers can do without fancy and expensive equipment. Thanks so much Lee from MUSKOKA.
God bless you my best friend. I did say it was my luck top. I absolutely love it and the weather over here is rubbish at the moment so it’s keeping me so warm. I know you have had snow but we don’t get a lot over here
Absolutely brilliant video again Lee, such great ideas. Loving the patterns and colours, if you blurred these a little, could use yhem as backgrounds for other photos. Definitely 👍 for the live calls, would be very interesting. Great video Lee and i will be trying this 😊
Hello my dear friend hope you are keeping well not long until the photography show whoop whoop. Thank you for your kind words. I am going to do a few this year I just need to sort times and dates out for them. But we will sort it out
Hi Lee Love your tutorial Thank you In regards to your going live... do you mean where we watch you live and chat on youtube? Or do you mean live as in we get a link and we can all see each other and chat (video conference style) either way I like it
Great photos, cool idea with the acrylic paint! I would love the live videos, maybe live picture-critique would be very useful, I always enjoy those ones!
Hi buddy hope you have had a fantastic Christmas. What I want to do is try and do them on a regular basis. A bit like a club sort of thing where we can get people from all over the world to join in. I am working on it buddy. I am trying to find a day and time so it don’t class with other clubs
I totally understand we will try and sort something out I promise. I have a few friends down under in Australia. I usual get up at around 6am just to talk to them
Another great video. I will have to give this a try. Muskoka is 2 hours north of Toronto here in Canada. My wife’s family has a cottage in Muskoka so I spend a lot of my summer in that area. I love the idea of a live session. Given that you likely have viewers from around the globe, the hard part will be finding a time that works for most people. Take care my friend!
Hello my friend thank you kindly for your message. I really need to visit Canada soon, it has always been on my bucket lists of places to visit. I am going to work with everyone to try and sort a good time out. If not I might just do one that will fit in with a good time in Canada as I have a few subscribers that are in that part of the lovely world. Hope you are keeping well and safe.
He mentioned it in the video: it's from a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates. The plastic insert that holds the chocolates in the box is also very interesting looking!
Hello my friend thank you ever so much for dropping me a message. I do a few things. The first one I try is to use a low appatur sometimes around f4 or f5 the next is to try and get the subject away from the background as much as I can this usual gets me softer looking pictures
lol 😂 hi mate thank you for letting me use your picture it really is amazing and the world had to see it. People really get a lot of inspiration from seeing good work. I will never forget your sir name again I promise lol 😂
I was put onto you by friend who recommended you his recommendation as well worth the effort looking at this video and your previous video about doing water droplets. I wonder if you had thought about combining the two together to see what affect you get overall. Meanwhile, keep the good work up. Enjoy your studies at uni as well. The one person that can always help at the university is the student advisor for your topic. A lot of people don't realise how much these people can help you in your quest for knowledge.
Wow god bless your friend please tell them thank you ever so much from the bottom of my heart. I haven’t thought about combining them all together but it must be worth a go lol. You never know what you will end up with if you don’t try. My student advisor is fantastic and really helped me out more than once. I really think they work a lot harder than the lectures sometimes
@@LeeHallphotography I seen the prices of a set of the 'speed paint' As I don't have any spare arms or legs, I ordered some in my price range.. So thank you kind sir. Aslo, I want you to know that I really appreciate what you do, and that you take us with you and explain everything yo u do very well. My paints arrive tomorrow, and will probably be MIA for the next few days..
Hi buddy sorry for the late response you are spot on it sure is. And a place I would love to visit one day. Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your interaction.
Hi my friend yes it is a Vanguard tripod I totally love it and would be definitely lost without it lol It’s a VEO 3+ The head came with the tripod it’s a BH-60
If you do do live videos, alternate between morning and evening. Or something. Not even Gary Hoey can get me out of bed at 1:00 am. On reflection, 13:00 doesn't sound great either.
Your videos are to long? 😂😂 Tell them to get stuffed. The longer the video the better. Best teacher on youtube.

Glad you're back Lee.. I need to try this, was wondering the brand or paint you were using?
The one I was using is called speed paint but I have tried just normal acrylic paints and they work just as good
@@LeeHallphotography Thanks.. I was just worried that I will buy the wrong kind...
As long as you get acrylic you will be fine. And not the expensive one
Muskoka is in Ontario Canada.
Hi buddy sorry for the late response you are spot on it sure is. And a place I would love to visit one day.
Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your interaction.

Hi mate yes I have done a couple of videos using feathers it’s one of my favourite things to use. I will do another one soon I promise
@LeeHallphotography I like to take feathers and put water drops on them then take photos of them it turns out really cool looking in macro
They really do and tou can get so many different coloured feathers these days
@@LeeHallphotography I really like to use peacock feathers
Sympathy to Mrs. H and her paint filled sink.
Lol I know I had to go in the kitchen and scrub all the sides and sink before she would let me do anything else.
She really is one in a million
If you do do live videos, alternate between morning and evening. Or something.
Not even Gary Hoey can get me out of bed at 1:00 am.
On reflection, 13:00 doesn't sound great either.
lol I never even thought about alternating the time that sounds a fantastic idea 💡
What part of the world are you in.
