I've been rockin' cardigans since the early '90s. I'm not sure if it was Carlton, Mr. Belvedere or Benson who got me into them, but I've always dug them... wait a minute, it was Boyz II Men. If the Grizzlies had a problem with what Shannon said, they should've just told the refs to remove him from the game... But instead they talk back to him and approached him, which also put them at fault, as now, Shannon has a "right" to defend himself.

Yes this is pretty much how I see it. Players normally go straight to the ref **if they don’t like the trash talk/crosses the line. Cause yes, fans do talk all the time. And Steven adams or whomever it was walking over to Shannon instead of the bench kind of escalated the situation as well.

Honestly, I like that the grizzlies talk so much trash. I love that they don't back down, and I really like that they aren't as humble as everyone else. It's so boring to see players, and people with celebrity status in general, have to play this good guy role to satisfy the people and media. Speak your mind, and the fact that they're going against the grain makes it that much more real to me. It's not a front, they actually walk around with that confidence and chip on their shoulder. Forget making dad jokes or trying to be liked, we're hurt to hurt yah feelings and let you know about it. They're the villains you actually like. They have no mercy for opponents , but they love their fans and show them that love.
Literally you are the only one that really believes this. They are young team that's kind of dumb. I love their bravado early on but now they just kind of disrespectful and just talking when you haven't won anything. You were just short of the NBA finals and now you have to really play Well again To make it back in the playoffs. They will learn how it doesn't guarantee you will make it to the finals because you're in the number one seed. Ask Toronto in 2018. They've made it closer to the finals every year since Ja has been there, and they garnered individual success on that journey. Everyone uses their youth as a knock against them, when in reality it's the best thing about them. They're so young and talented, and with the mindset and attitude they have, if they can channel that into a serious focus they would be amazing for years to come. It's only disrespectful because you feel like it's disrespect. What you don't tolerate could be a slap on the wrist for someone else. They talk trash, so what? Beat them. That's how you get a good team to shut up, you win. They don't need to win the chip to talk trash. That's just something cowards do. It's like waiting to talk trash in a fight until you get a gun. There is a reason to be humble or just not argue when you are up. Focus on winning and less trash talk. When you are the number 1 in your division you're suppose to act like it. Not bark at fans just because you are told you can't check anyone. They need to focus on repetition of finishing games for the playoffs. If you want to be a championship team stay focused. Shannon wasn't a regular fan, and he started a fight with kids half his age. Fan altercations can easily disrupt anyone. If someone came to your job and did what Shannon did, trust you'd lose more than your focus. And they aren't number 1 in the division, they're the 2nd seed. And they finish games quite well actually, and they did amazing in the playoffs for being so young. It's really starting to sound like you don't watch them. at all.
