@viggo mortensen u can find a variety of mag fed paintball guns via google Amazon and of rose RAP4.com and this is at sc village paintball park we play out there once a month
Look at, for the lower price range, the milligrams m17 cqc, and for the best, ether the milsig m17 xdc or, my personal weapon, the rap4 468 with electronic grip.
Andrew Polcyn I use the Tiberius T15. Works great and looks great. The RAP4 t68s and 468s aren't bad, but the dmags do have a bit of a wiggle while in the mag well.
The m17 cqc is too expensive now for beginners, if you're just getting into paintball in general and want to go straight to magfed try the spyder MR5 or MR5e they're SUUUPER cheap, come first strike ready and you can switch from magfed to hopperfed midgame. The m17 is INFINITELY better but if it's in your price range GO FOR IT it's 100% worth it. But if you've already had experience in paintball and had your own gun, just go right for the M17.
Guns N Roses... haha. I wish Colorado had fields like this. Pretty podunk here when up in the Denver area. The Springs I think has a few decent fields... too far of a drive.
You think you have it bad?? The only field up here in Canada where I am isn't large, and it's over priced. And any other field isn't closer than 100 miles. AND EVEN THEY AREN'T GOOD! The only good fields I can think of are all the way in Toronto which is a 4 hour drive...
I mean, the whole advantage of magfed paintball is the aesthetics and tactical play of airsoft but with limited ammo and the pain of being hit with a Paintball, which makes you less likely to try to Rambo. This is the best of both worlds, and by far the closest to reality.
SlenderManSCARESMC Umm...closest to reality, no you lose there..I still see the same kind of paintball tactics that I would see on T.V., sure they have less rounds, but I could run low caps if I wanted to and get a more realistic ammo count. Unlike popular belief, airsoft hurts about as much as paintball for the most part. The main reason why people think airsoft hurts less is because we reach ranges most paintball guns can't reach and still have the paintballs break on you. Think of airsoft bbs as tiny frozen paintballs shot usually 100 fps over your limit MINIMUM. Sure it won't hurt at a distance, but until you get 10 feet away from a guy blasting full auto with 350 fps polarstar, you can't say that airsoft is a pussy sport. Airsoft has a lot more of a milsim aspect than paintball, it is our specialty, we were designed to be good at mil-sim, that's the total point of airsoft. We don't dry fire when we are out of rounds, like in real life, and we don't take one piece of cover per person, like in real life. Ah airsoft is the dedicated milsim aspect, paintball the dedicated sport aspect. Both of us outclass nerf guns and will be replaced by force on force/simunition if it ever becomes more than a training device. Sure people won't call their hits in airsoft, but unlike paintball we aren't out there to win. That's what most paintballers don't get. If you are playing airsoft to win, then you are in the wrong sport. We're a lot like reenactors or laarpers, we are out there just to have fun and feel like we are in a war. Airsoft is, when you get down to it, a nerd's sport...although that may change...
Andre Rivers About 200-300 ft sometimes more... I have seen a guy with a 350fps aeg(not a sniper) take out another guy at 250ft(and that seems to be your Guinness world record for the longest paintball shot), with the right barrel, hop up, etc. a sniper rifle could probably hit much farther since it has almost 450 fps on it and is designed for long range, and yes, my argument is airsoft is more realistic. Airsoft is designed for realism...it's like me saying airsoft has better airsoft leagues than paintball...and if you have seen play in the Philippines, it's a clusterfuck. Airsoft is more realistic for multiple reasons, our big thing is the giant mil-sim events, and although paintball does have those, I can guarantee they are subpar to airsoft, and the ones that are equal to airsoft, are very rare to come by. Paintball is a cool sport, it's fun, and a great sport to watch, but it is not more realistic than airsoft.
Great to play with you guys see you next month
Looks like a great field.
a lot of people are standing around in the open reloading

Haha what part of the CO? Covertcops is pretty cool but blitz it having a magfed only game now in July I think :D

Eh...just play airsoft, it's right next door...

littleferrhis Is it then your argument that airsoft is more realistic?
Also, what is the max range of an airsoft "sniper" rifle.

littleferrhis With the first strike paintballs you can shoot out to 300-400 feet.
