Oh.. my. Gosh.. I love your channel!!. And I looked up; tricks to teach a small deaf dog. “ And I found you!!. I’m so happy right now. Victoria has taught me so many things about dogs, and their training methods. I’ve gotten to help family dogs, and even gotten a job out of it. :). My dogs deaf sense she was a baby, and she’s a doll. Maybe I’ll learn more about deaf dogs from Victoria here in this video.!!
Think, when you love them, you just adapt, with your dog.Using hand gesture’s for come, stay etc, eye contact is a big thing for them. They can tell by your facial expressions too.I think never underestimate a dog, they are so capable.
Possibly as long as its just on low setting itll allow you to get dogs attention such as if they were in danger and you needed them to stop or come to you
Trueee!. I have a deaf dog. Sense she was a baby she was deaf. And I taught her how to come with a stomp with my foot. But if people were over it’s loud and can be annoying. Or if she ran outside of course I couldn’t stomp. And sometimes it startled her. So I tried a vibration caller and she came right away to me!. And it didn’t startle her and she could run outside
The scratch on the mom's face is really a show of how much that dog jumps on them 🥺

Excellent tips was nice to see this dog responding to the owners finally,
a young ridgeback is already super unruly and saucy - i can only imagine how much of a struggle it is to train a deaf one 😩

A vibrating (not shock) collar would optimize their communication.
