Hello people in the future! Let’s see if these problems were fixed in the update!!!! -Eggman. Eggman is just….no. -Cream is pretty useful now. -Rouges evasion got replaced with remote trap. Aswell as other characters got replaced abilities. -Knuckles got insane cooldown reduces. That should make up for his easily baitable abilities. -EXES linger is still annoying. Not as annoying. But still annoying. Overall, most problems were fixed. Eggman is just a big no no still. Imo he was made worser. And the EXES are still shredding through everything. Other than that, most things got fixed! other things I forgot to mention in the video: 1. Mobility moves not having I-frames (except for creams speed boost and tails glide. Why doesn’t amy,shadow, or eggman get I-frames?) 2. Spammable skills. Why do tails and amy have such abusive cooldowns?? And why does Amy’s hammer throw have 20 seconds? I main amy and I think that’s actual BS. 3. Knuckles is mid. (Not really.)| Ever since hammer throw came back and metal got added. He’s also fallen victim to pretty much badness and joins Cream and eggman into the “Justice for ______!!!” Due to him literally being a worser Amy and metal comebined. I know I suck as Knuckles, But really all he has is punch. Unlike Tails and eggman, Their stuns are easy to hit. And Amy's Hitboxes are larger. I just feel like Knuckles punch needs more linger. Hes not DOWNRIGHT TRASH. But his main ability just feels not rewarding. Both Amy and Knuckles have the same duration, But Amy's hammer attack has better hitboxes. Thus meaning Hammer attack can be hit slighty more. So punch needs more linger. And don’t get me wrong Knuckles mains can be CRACKED. But he just feels so bland. His punch needs a slight buff. Not to mention block also feels kinda useless…all you have to do is not attack and it’s literally SO PREDICTABLE. If punch doesn’t get buffed, atleast reduce his block cd. 4. Rouge buffs and nerfs. Honestly just buff rouge slightly. Not that much, but just buff her Flashbang hitbox, and nerf her Flashbang CD to 26.5. Because why is it spammable??? Plus she’s meant to be hidden and evasion is already a pain anyway. Plus when going against big exe it makes it unfair against him because his hitbox is so BIG!! Like nerf the CD so the big exe can get a break atleast… 5. Cream being designed to be useless. From what I’ve heard, someone told me in Outlaiks stream that cream was designed to be bad. So then what’s the point of giving her heal? One of the most game changing abilities in the game…? How is she supposed to get everyone to tank a hit in 1 minute and 30 seconds??Bring back glide tbh. Or atleast buff her heal or bring back hands of kindness to help her heal everyone faster. 6. Metals grapple. It’s so poorly made it’s not even funny….Yall saw that too in the video aswell right??? Idk about the cream glide thing, but she definitely needs a buff. Eggman DEFINITELY NEEDS A BUFF. Big exes grab lunge needs to be slightly nerfed and give more punishment when lunging because grab is just annoying atp :p, I get it’s for people to use it more, but there’s room for improvement:p And honestly it just depends on your team. But let’s be real, most people on teams nowadays, SUCK. Tails mains might miss, but atleast they actually do their job. Knuckles mains literally just run away or don’t do anything while punch is off cooldown. They also T-bag 24/7. (If your a helpful knuckles main who doesn’t T-bag, god bless you.) Eggman mains also sit in the corner, or they just come to help every 1 minute. Amy mains just never think I swear. They always wanna use hammer throw. I get that it’s a fun and cool mechanic, but please think with your head rather than just trying to impress your invisible audience. Hammer throw isn’t just Amy’s main ability. Im an amy main and for god sakes don’t use hammer throw to save someone or yourself when you have hammer attack. (No offense to all the other amy mains out there reading this :p) Unless it’s an emergency. Cream mains never just heal anyone and even if they do, people get hit and creams suffer. If their teammates are not dumb af and have a brain cell. In which let’s be real, people nowadays don’t really think. Sally mains are odd. They are either the most helpful or the most useless person. If you’re a helpful sally main, you are the best!!! You are so helpful 🙏. But honestly It’s never in between. (No disrespect to all the Sally’s out there!!) Shadows are helpful. 80% of shadow mains actually do their job. Thank you! I barely complain about shadow mains cause most of them are actually good teammates. Rouges never place sensors in the right spots. Please make sure you just wait before you place sensors. Can’t really be harsh on rouges cause it’s hard having to run around the map replacing 24/7. And Metal sonics just never Metal sonic… they always sit there…I get that your playing as a sacrifice character, but that’s the point. SACRIFICE. if you’re actually helpful and a team player with your main character, THANK YOU. Don’t be the average useless TD player who picks a character just to not do their job please .*cough* public amys, metals, creams, and knuckles *cough* (*mostly*) And about my take on EXE nerfs? I’m 100% agreeing with small exe nerf idc. For big exe, I rewatched the video and was a little bit too harsh on him??? Maybe he needs some buffs, but there should be a thing where as soon as you get grabbed your immediately revealed to all teammates. I still think grab has some room for improvement. Other than that, big EXE isn’t really a problem, it’s the small EXE. That thing needs to be nerfed NOW. Once again, this isn’t meant to send hate to Outlaik or devs. I just think the game could improve since if im being honest…Its balancing its pretty garbage at the moment. Just because it’s a public alpha doesn’t mean it’s not an excuse. Outlaik is a solo dev, but that’s why the game is public. Devs need feedback to fix problems. And free to agree or disagree. We all have our opinions, and there’s outlaiks reasoning aswell to why.
DONT buff rouge, shes actually INSANELY overpowered AGAINST BIG EXE BECAUSE HIS INDICATOR LASTS SO SHORT, rouge mains with a bit of skill can TIME PERFECTLY HOW LONG BIG SONICS INDICATOR LASTS, AND THEY NEVER RUN OUT OF EVASION ITS SO ANNOYING, THEY ALWAYS END UP HAVING 0 DT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Not sure where to put this, but a neat-ish idea for an eggamn buff. you can use the shock WHILE being grabbed. Of course, It would be fairly op for when it first comes out, but I think it would bring him to a perfect spot. (There could be a downside where you take damage from using the shock in a dangerous scenario(Like a longer cooldown, or taking 25 Dmg outright (will not kill you)))
Ihope next restore tickle not swapping in his moves shadow and his make variant to boost if he jump and do boost will he go up and if he boost will be regular boost and knuckles should be buff him like gilde and climb and some mechanics
I don't Think cream should have a stun. But at least some offense ability, something Else that she could use that Gives her a small advantage,cuz the moment where Speed boost ends, you're done for lmo
i’d like to point out some things mentioned in the video outlaik has said in a recent stream that cream is designed to be bad, and that he doesn’t intend on giving cream her glide back anytime soon in the same stream, outlaik said he added the lunge to grab so people would actually use grab, because back then nobody really used it

@@magicaniits also easy to get someone out of a grab, tails, metal, shadow and sally r good against a grab because of stuns, shadows boost and sally being able to sheild someone preventing a grab or stopping exe from stabbing someone. with good timing u can also stun right after he grabs u
OutLaik said that the game should be easy for the EXE, not for the survivors, that's why it's so unfair. I get that the survivors shouldn't be too OP since there can be a lot of them and can easily overpower the EXE, but right now, the game is heavily focused on the EXEs to make them even harder to fight with (which, I guess, should be a challenge for the survivors, since it should be hard for them, not the EXE), but the EXE can literally slaughter the whole team of 6, for example, within a minute or two, which is extremely frustrating. They should make both teams at least a LITTLE more balanced, because right now, the game is all about luck and hope that you have a decent enough team which can give somebody time to at least win a solo run. The bugs and other things should definitely get fixed, I agree on that.
@@izaax2nd True that. I get that outlaik wanted to help the EXES, but I shouldn’t even be able to murder everyone under 2 minutes. Which is annoying and makes me not wanna play EXE cause it gets boring. Though I feel like outlaik did it to make EXE not much of a struggle to play with, but that linger is way too powerful.
@@TheKris. True. It needs to be balanced on both teams. Even for a bloodthirsty demon. And since it's a literal game, it should take a good amount of skills on both sides, not yawn on one side and sweat on the other.
@izaax2nd and this design choice actively downplays the supposed survivors who are literally light speed demons with superhuman strength,this is why I prefer the 2D version despite having it's own fair share of drama and terrible game design,it feels like a sonic.exe game not a horror game with characters wearing sonic skins.
A complaint I have is that Hide and Seek Act 1 is like the most broken map in this game. Here’s a few examples of stuff I’ve seen/have issues with: -Exe gets pushed through a wall, rendering him stuck until the round ended -Exe gets stuck in a rock after grabbing Metal while Metal had activated Push at the same time -Metal being revived by me and immediately being thrown off the map because he was revived while being near a invisible wall(he was grabbed by Exe) -Some of the walls near springs aren’t smooth, causing people to get stuck. A player shouldn’t be able to get stuck in a wall, that’s bad map design, especially when the walls that are like that are in tight, small spots that make it easier to get hit by Exe -The monochrome effect when you get picked up is BAD on this map. You cannot see anything 3 feet in front of you, I can see better in … and that maps whole thing is being dark. Bonus Issue I have with maps: -In Hide and Seek Act 2, Metal Sonic and Exe were both thrown off the map when you guessed it, the both used Grab + Push at the same time. -Kind and Fair has an issue where characters like Amy, Shadow, Eggman and Tails can just camp somewhere while everyone else can go fuck themselves apparently. Too many people do this and it ruins the map for me honestly. -Hill is too big and needs less invisible wall areas.
@@Thescrawnyrottenshrimp I've played a fair amount of 1.2 Shadow and here's the most useful scenarios I've found for Homing Attack! :D 1) Use it kind of like a block. If you know EXE will lunge at you, quickly hit it to counter him. If you do it right it never fails. 2) Simply combo it with Boost. (Boost > Homing Attack). I'd recommend you do this if: a) You're far from your teammates and need to buy some time to reach them, or b) You can knock EXE off a cliff with Homing Attack. Do note it's sometimes better to save Homing Attack or Boost for things such as grabs! 3) Use it to juke the EXE. Fall off of a high place, and when EXE falls after you, use the Homing Attack to boost yourself back onto the high place and gain distance. This is especially good in maps like "...", You Can't Run or sometimes You Can't Run 2. Those are the 3 best uses I've found for it. It's a decent ability, just a bit gimmicky.
@@Thescrawnyrottenshrimp wait for a green target on the exe. once that appears you press the jump button to fling yourself at him. If you hit, thats some knockback to the exe. If not, you still gained some distance on him
tbh grab needs to show everyone where they are not just when they need reviving because its legit just a first life gone or atleast make it so you can brake out
I agree. Small exe lunge is big problem, I dodge then he comes back around and hits me anyways. 2, eggmans shock (in my opinion) cooldown should be lowered to 25 seconds. And mabe the hight of the jetpack boot increased. Also metals grapple is actually accurate for me
I agree cream heals is useless because of lunge and Eggman shock lasted only2 but to fix it there are three ways 1.they make eggamn’s shock last 3 second or they fix the jetpack 2.they buff cream’s healing ability to be at lest 30or35 and they return her glide back but different then tails 3.nerf the exes to make fair for the survival
Knuckles: *gets glide ability* Everyone after: *doesn’t even care* And Cream- well yeah she’s almost useless. No point in the speedboost if Exe can just spindash and catch up, or the exe2 charge attack (It’s only good when I use it-)
I 100% agree wuth eggman and cream being useless. I used to main the two of them a lot more on previous versions. Now i barely use eggman, i can't see why outlaik thiught the shock nerf was needed
0:27 reworked heal tbh not gonna help cream,no one teammate would survive 90 seconds for an advantage of taking an extra hit from exe(especially if its exe2 with broken grab💀🙏)
@@theshutuperI think cream with a 30 seconds cool Down heal with 25 is better but not 65 for 90 seconds cools down the big exe can deal 60 damage wasting all that healing it would make cream mains become more mad cuz they have to wait a whole 90 seconds
@@theshutuper in my opinion she just needs heal buff, maybe having 2 heal abilities, or 2 charges to heal 2 people at once or same person twice to guarantee them to survive one more hit, or just simply reduce cooldown so she can heal more, especially when there's a lot of people on one team
Ideas- cream glide to be back but in another way, if she would jump from very tall building her glide would activate but its not like she can activate her glide every time she jumps her glide would have also 40/20 cooldown and only activates when she jumos from tall height , or mix her glide with speed boost meaning her ability to glide would be back but speed boost removed but mixed with her glide so if she would activate her glide she would glide faster but go down faster ,sonic exe nerf- make the cooldown long just like sonic exe 2, for sonic exe 2 they should make the grab damage low but fast , shadow-erm idk
Ok,here it comes -I'd nerf Exe2's damage to deal 50 dmg instead of 65,now while that doesnt change much,it makes cream a slightly better counter for exe2. -Knuckles is a character that really needs a buff but i dont see anyone talking about it,Block depending on the exe can be really useless(Just dont attack him too early),Punch as well,its so slow in comparision with Amy's hammer attack that it can be predictable sometimes,to fix that two things could be done, 1-Give Knuckles a Lunge when hes going to punch,2-Could be a third ability for him,i think his Spin attack from Nb and Nbr should be his 3rd ability,it would work like pre-rework Shadow's Dash
exe 2 is genuelly built to be bullied so no theres 11 offense moves in the game w his big hitbox and slow movement spee hes very easy to loop and get thrown off ledges nerfing him would make him unplayable (he already is close to unplayable in the current version) knuckles is very good just relies on skill his cooldonwns are low if u hit ur moves ur never gonna get hit and also hammer attack and punch have the same speed (w hammer attack having a larger hitbox)
Outlaik said he’s not going to buff knuckles as he has always been a well rounded character. I do agree he might need a buff later on because other characters keep getting buffed.
I'd say the best buff you can give Knuckles is make it so the block works if he collides with EXE while EXE is doing his attack animation, not if EXE directly hits him. That way it's a lot more consistent, since a lot of the time block doesn't work simply because EXE straight up missed the attack on Knuckles even though EXE phased through him, and now Knuckles is defenseless.
Let’s see if these problems were fixed in the update! Cream is now MUCH better! Overheal can basically negate grab, it has a shorter cooldown than heal, and it can easily allow survivors that got revived to still fight the exe and help the team. Eggman’s turrets are good when used right, and his jetpack is amazing now. I just wish he still had shock with his kit, but Outlaik says he’ll never add it back 😔 As for lunge, I’m not sure if it got nerfed, but the hitboxes seem much bigger now. I’ve jumped over exes, and survivors have jumped over me when I’m exe, but they still get hit. This has sorta happened before the full release, but I feel like it happens even more now. And sadly linger still exists
honestly I really like this update, but there are just so many flaws that ruin the experience for me, especially grab, like have you seen how fast the blood drain is for that thing
As an eggman Main I heavily agree Without teammates near me I’m just a target for exe when I use up my shock, that nerf wasn’t necessary at all! But even with this nerf I can get some wins just barely… If I was to change one thing about eggman which would be a plus and a negative id change how the shock works, here me out I feel like shock could work like Sallys Sheild, when hit by exe it’s gone but when a minion does it takes away durability, so here’s my suggestion… Whenever eggman has his shock on and a minion is hit by it it’s still there but the shock will be weakened a bit, it would take 3 minions to get rid of the shock and if the exe gets stunned it would be used completely, the positives of this idea is that you will be able to stun many other exes to make it easier for you and others to escape, the negatives however would be if minions were to take the shock for the exe the shock would be gone or to weak to properly stun the exe making very risky but very rewarding to hit exe with the stun If you’ll have better ideas feel free to tell me in the replies below
@@flamanimation9048 I agree. It’s bad enough when hammer throw came back people started playing characters less. Especially eggman. That nerf wasn’t even necessary and now he’s barely playable. Also nice suggestion!!!

Eggman was fine beforehand. He didn’t need the nerf imo. Before he was great at defending himself considering the fair stun time and the area of effect when shock is activated. But now he’s more just a stun chain starter. (Oh and don’t get me started with his stun time when exe has shortened stun times cuz of the stun chain nerf RAAAAH)
I think they should at least make the Stun Shortening effect not apply to him. (it's a 2 second stun ffs) that way he's useful for starting stun chains or something. Right now the only use he has is zoning EXE away from teammates. Even then, the 30 second cooldown is, yikes..
@@Vortxnity07 fr, the stun is already short enough alone. With the stun shortening its comparable to the person player exe’s finger slipping. They legit start moving again right after the stun.

Instead of 65 hp i think they should let cream run / walk while shes healing or give her the twirl stun like in dimensional coalescense and give her a glide, cream these days lowkey are not good but kinda
As a Cream main, i think its fair to give her 1 passive and 3 abilities so she can be a solo and a teamwork, also buffing her heals to 35 is much better than 25, due to it being SO bad, i know its a pain for small exes, but we need to buff her too because big exes do 1 hit and they are cooked if Cream only healed them once, im honestly disappointed in the games fanbase.
Some of these issuees getting fixed i think but yeah i agree mostly. Outlaik also gets glazed just because he's a solo dev too. i like outlaik a lot and respect him a lot too, but like....jus cuz ur a solo dev doesnt mean you can put minimum effort
My biggest problem with this game right now is that it's useless skills, lacking new characters and maps, and it's unbalanced and certain characters Cream was okay in 1.0, but I still don't understand why glide was removed, But the exe was buffed to the point where the risk of 50 heals in 90 seconds is completely stupid Eggman was indeed a favorite character of the people and he was very good... In 1.0, from 1.1 onwards they started to mess too much with his shock and jetpack and they just ruined it to the point where it is... Today Tails and Amy are having abusive cooldowns, Glide with 30 seconds? 20 from Hammer Throw but 28 and 31 from Hammer Bounce and Hammer Attack? Metal Sonic's grapple is poorly made, Shadow is difficult to use but he's at least decent, unlike Tackle Shadow or Block Shadow which usually... A knuckles, amy or an Eggman easily replaces him. Hill map is a mess to navigate, they removed many parts that helped you escape and added MANY areas with invisible walls, in addition to removing the bridge. Rouge is okay, she's meant to be difficult, crying about her is a skill issue, but yes, she needs some measly buffs. Knuckles is generic and boring to use, he's simply a metal Sonic, an Amy worse and without any charismatic skill I find some songs really boring, like Escape from the Test Zone and Has1, And how many characters have their kits changed or nerfed for no reason Removal of passive perks, such as Hand of Kindness, Nerves of Stell or Rouge's old passive, remove Glide from Cream,Add EMP to Sally but remove her roll???? Why???? Nerf the skills by decreasing range, duration, hit distance, but increasing the cooldown without adding a third skill (Tails, Eggman, Knuckles, Cream, Shadow, Sally because Give Shield doesn't count as a thrid skill) And since the game is taking a long time to add new things, since 1.0 the game doesn't seem to progress much, I consider 1.1 the worst update so far because it's simply the most bruh thing possible. At least in the current update 1.2, Metal Sonic and Base came, let's hope this doesn't become something rare and Outlaik manages to make the game evolve more than it already is. And no, it's not a hate letter to Outlaik or saying that his project is bad, I know it's hard to work alone on a big project, but still, there's always room for improvement. And I honestly love this game, despite the problems of this current version, I hope, pray that Outlaik reads the reviews and comes back with things removed from the past

@@theshutuper The only thing I disagree with that you mentioned in the video was the 65 HP to 90 and Cooldawn, literally, a high cooldawn like that would only make Cream even worse. From the calculations I had made, the idea or closest to it would be 40 HP for 36 cooldawn Brute exe: 100 - 65 = 35 + 40 = 75 - 65 = 10 Classic Exe: 100 - 45 = 55 - 45 = 10 + 40 = 50 - 45 = 5 The 36 cooldawn is due to the fact that Cream already takes 4 seconds to finish healing her, so, 36 + 4, 40, equal to what she provides, it cannot give an extremely high cooldawn because otherwise the usefulness disappears And yes, I agree that exes deserve a Nerf, I liked the ideas but it doesn't execute, grab Lunge wouldn't be problematic if it activated the damage tracker and the damage and bleed itself wasn't very strong, classic exe I like it like that, at most I would put a slightly smaller range, a greater consequence for using the lunge, and increase the for its damage The current balance problem is not exactly that the exes are too strong, but rather that they are too strong but the survivors are too weak, as I mentioned above. Abusive cooldown, predictable skills, generic skill sets, useless supports, etc., etc., meanwhile an exe grabs you by the neck and sucks your life out of a straw as if they were drinking a milkshake

If their gonna make eggman this weak now, they should change the shock into a more High risk but high rewards treatment For shadow we already know his airboost needs s. Cream's sprint lunge is decently good but if there's one thing i want them to have is to make the lunge act like shadow's tackle but cost her to cancell out the sprint although her cd is cut down by half that way she isn't just even more useless
i dont think cream needs glide back because welp, thatd make tails not unique, I think as a 3rd ability, she should get "Dodge" She does the speedboost dash like 4 times left and right, giving her s for 5-7 seconds, if sonic tries hitting cream during this he'l be slowed down slightly, this is just to make cream a bit stronger against sonic, this also can just replace heal when cream enters a solo also, dont buff rouge, shes insanely op against big sonic please AAA

aside from that many people complain about the hitboxes and guess what outlaik already tried to fix them its just the ping,the worse it it the worse your hitbox will be and vice versa im pretty sure that hitboxes refresh overtime to sync with your character but because of the ping it lags and can freeze in one place so it fails to sync in time either that or roblox servers suck
All metal sonic's abilitys make him in trouble its almost impossible for him to win if he is the last one alive here my concept if metal sonic as no one to protect When metal sonic will be the last one standing he will get a option to activate his solo mod since he as no one to protect Push repliced by dash:metal sonic will be able to dash (cooldown 26 sec)like old shadow but if he dash on a exe the exe will get pushed and metal sonic continuing his dash Grapple replaced by badniks:metal sonic will be able to call one badniks to help him (cooldown 23 sec)every badniks as différents abiltys Motobug:claw hit push exes a little bit (cooldown 15 sec) Bettle:transport metal sonic away metal sonic will able to go where ever he want but the energy are similar to tails but smaller Crab:a very slow badnik that can stun 1 sec a exe(cooldown 20sec) Exmes can destroy them but they can be useful for metal sonic these badniks can be played by AI or players in the lobby if they are boring
NO WAY ANOTHER SMART PERSON REALISING TD HAS SHIT BALANCE. the balance was always bad but metal now somewhat covers up for it instead of fixing the issues he just put metal to hide the flaws

Knuckles punch.. Why does small exe have long ahh linger, and big exe and can deal massive damage and have grab lunge.. but then knuckles gets punished because he was 1 centimeter to far from exe. Knuckles punch should have linger to it.

Now with the new 1,2 released cream’s heal actually works a bit now. You don’t have to heal twice just to make someone not vulnerable to big and small EXE. I haven’t actually played as eggman in 1.2 yet but I will edit this when I play as him.
Alr I played as him and I have to admit, he’s better than his older version. Not counting 1.0 and 1.1 because those were when eggman was actually good. The turret works better than the shock since you can hide for most of the rounds compared to being at risk in normal EXE TD rounds
Also in the new update,they removed eggmans Electric attack with some turret that slows down the EXE,which....seems useless because you can lunge and charge (Small Exe and Kolossos) Cream is MID

They both get countered in the same way, they both work as a shield in the same way, and they are both temporal. It’s your opinion though so you don’t have to agree. But the opinion on eggman? I really hope the 1.2 prototype comes back because there it felt more fair and less jittery when exe hits you, and exe and survivors wasn’t completely op not to mention how they nerfed amy so hard in this update, hammer throw is garbage and hammer attack is just lacking it’s charm in all honesty, plus it’s hitbox was significant changed which makes it way harder to actually hit exe, and thats if you’re lucky bc most exes bait you into it and spam lunge to kill you. Outlaik noticed how suspiciously moderately balanced Eggman was looking and decided to he had to ruin it. But in all seriousness, the only characters worth playing anymore are; ..oh right, theres hardly any! Let me rank them from worst to best any why, because nobody asked and I have the power to type whatever I want. - Eggman. He's not necessarily the worst on his own, but given how his fall from grace (which is a tragedy and should be documented on), he looks miserable. - Shadow. Again, he used to be cool. A good support. Now? Now he's more useless than Cream, because once you've used both your short ass abilities, you're cooked. - Cream, of course. Her speed boost is so easily counter-able, and heal does next to nothing if your teammates aren't lucky as hell and have half a braincell. - Tails. If you have good aim and the map is suited to you, he's alright. The moment you land from glide though, its over, unless you're just built like that. (and I mean *really* built like that) - Amy. Hear me out, I was going to put Sally here but, for reasons I didn't. Amy seems amazing on paper, 3 abilities, all with different uses- but 1. Her hammer attack is so janky, 2. hammer bounce is good on certain maps, but easily counter-able on others, plus it only buys you like 5 seconds thanks to- you guessed it, charge/spindash. And 3, hammer throw is good and all, until you realise you're going to be without a hammer for a damn long time unless your team is useful enough to help you get it back, because every moment you go for it exe will just pounce. - Sally. Without shield, she's kinda mid, however I find if you use her shield and EMP strategically, the cooldowns are alright, cuz' once one runs out the other is soon to regen. - Rouge. This might sound like some stupid opinion, but what more could you want from a character? You can hide when your team is doing f* all, you can blind exe which goes in par with your ability to hide, you can place sensors which helps you not run into the exe when you're evading him, plus it helps your team too. And if that wasn't good enough, you get what is essentially an attack dodge too, with all moderate cooldowns. - Knuckles. Yes, I am biased. His cooldowns are really short, and although block sucks ass, you can still get it to work in your favour if you're used to Knuckles enough. And even when it does get you hit, the same can be said for a lot of other character's abilities. And finally, the best character, Metal Sonic. You get a goofy ass hitbox which practically guarantees ATLEAST 70 dt if you have skill, an ability that can throw exe off of literally any ledge you desire, and a grapple that can either act as a start-up for your push, or to drag exe down to the abyss. Also his cooldowns are fair for how messed up his hitbox is and the fact he has 3 hits.

I Love Cream but increase the heals/self h, when against big exe sonic as players would have to sit one out or stall for 40s before they are two tap. which why when I'm exe I often dont Prioritize Cream knowing she barely holds any weight to the team as a healer.
Ngl the fact people are way to good like, survive with a higher presentige and then exe they decemate everyone, i honestly think there could be a ranking system, where they rank people with your skill level or give the better people harder versions of exe or nerf just them
As an Eggmain, I was devastated when Eggy got nerfed... Also (after getting to Metal's Grapple), not sure if I suck with aiming, but Amy's Hammer Throw is kinda iffy too. I know since it travels an arc, that you have to like... adjust your aim if that makes sense? But I feel like the hammer should just land where your cursor is.
If outlaik intended to make gameplay more team-based, he could add mechanics which manipulates players to play more actively brtween... But he preferred more irrational decision to balance eveything , so it would be easier for us to throw our beloved mains into garbage can. There actually more issues than aforementioned, like possibility for big exe to spam his abilities and less unique maps, but eith or without them gameplay is less fun.
I personally have issues with TD's design as a whole,a survival game which is centered about being able to fight back in a way should not be this reliant on juking,the character abilities themselves should be sufficient enough to win not something that can be easily face tanked.
True. But creams heal ability is generally weak due to everyone being able to die under 2 minutes due to exes linger. Which is pretty disappointing for cream because heal is the only ability in the game that restores HP and is a game changer. Unfortunately, heal is heavily countered :CCCCCC

Im gonna be honest, the points you make are very valid, it is nice big exe is alot more balanced now, grab is still a problem, i get why it has lunge now, it was way too hard to hit and at that point why would you use it over attack if its gonna miss, the damage buff was NOT needed, grab is meant to punish lone survivors yet it can down a survivor in 2 seconds flat, and if your team is just a bit too far away your dead, i feel like the grab lunge could stay becausr again, its a lone survivor punish, but the pummel damage needs to be nerfed and the blood drain needs a bit of a nerf, and i say that as a big exe main, im very dissapointed with the exe's this update, big was super close to being balanced and small exe was made even more braindead, i used to main small exe when he actually required some skill, but i feel like 1.2's full release wont be too bad, maybe im coping tho
Another thing I wish they added back was Sally’s roll, I don’t really like the EMP all that much because to even hit it you gotta go CLOSE the exe or minion only for them to be slowed down. You do get a speed boost but to me it’s not really that long and I’m pretty sure you could just use the dash or spin dash to catch back up quickly, the worse part is if you miss your basically screwed because now your right next to the thing trying to kill you. Not only that but you can be hit while doing the EMP so even if you do hit it you’re one step closer to dying all for him to be slowed down? You can use your shield to make sure you don’t get hit but that just feels like a waste of a shield. It can be useful to help teammates by slowing him down but it’s not even for that long anyway ( In my opinion ofc ) and again if you miss then it’s basically just a A for effort. It can also be good if you have to solo but honestly that roll has saved me way more them the EMP ever did ( I was a sally main while roll was still in game ) and yes, you can just play the 1.0 version bc the roll is still in that one but why would anyone wanna play 1.0? I just think the EMP is not that great, but then again it’s just my opinion and if you like it then that’s fine also.

The sally buff kinda sucks, sally is just wayy too good and cream just gets dunked on, like 25 sec to 20 sec cd shield?? And the emp is almost a buffed version of roll
im so mad they gave big exe a block, aswell as it having less cooldown then most stuns, nerf it for electric attack (shock and arm cannon) to stun it, and block only for melee (punch, hammer attack, hammer throw)
Something I just remembered, he has one odd advantage. Due to his large hitbox he doesnt have to jump into the ending ring, he can walk into it. Meaning if you used your jump and its on CD you can still exit.
I have a lot of thoughts on this apparently. I hate how Creams heal is only 25, especially against Big EXE. They invalidate Creams existence by existing. Small EXE for all his bullshit still respects with health. One heal gives someone another hit against Small EXE and if you want to give someone another hit you have to heal them twice. It allows for the heals to be spread more naturally.
My thoughts. - Eggs shock will be replaced the same way sally happened to her roll. Thats why they nerfed his abilities FOR NOW - Cream. If they designed it bad, why would heal even be in the game. It dosent make sense because she fu**ing got nerfed a bajillion times in 1.1 because of her reduced speed after 4 seconds. Kind hands passive is also bad because kf we revive teams early or late, it would just give survivors less or slight hp. They couldnt have make heal 50+ with 55 seconds lf cooldown (or maybe your idea with an 75 second cooldown instead.) she cant fu**ing tank 1 person every 1 min and 20 seconds while everyone is dying, absolute BS. - Knuckles, since metal came, knuckle users have been hiding or defending themselves instead of being an 2nd sacrificer since his Abilities act the way, grapple is so bad as it can be broken sometimes (Grapple cant make you pull exes if they attack while you grapple them, happens sometimes) - Amy,shadow, rouge absolute disrespect is bad, amy loosing her s when using hammer bounce. Gainign an 0.5 wind up hammer throw, shadow not getting s FROM ANY OF HIS ABILITIES. However, rouge thoughl just a slight buff, faster flashabng explosion. That barely does anything unless the hitbox is slighky bigger.(Problem is people mostly hide as rouge still instead of using flashbang, i mean it like an self or support ability because it blinds exe but you get what i mean.. ATLEAST HELP???)

Also Healing someone if they have 35 hp is useless cause they will have 60 hp and against big exe they are still one shot and it can be wasted if your teammate isn't a good juker! Please buff the heal atleast to 35 hp.
I just don't understand the problem of outlaik not returning glide for Cream, I would make it so that tails glide is responsible for taking a position or rising to the top, and cream glide is made like rouge from 1.1 and it would be responsible for gaining distance or revives, so it will be different from tails in that, Cream should be near the spring or at the top and will help to quickly reach speed boost (also if I'm not mistaken in glide you can't stop, it always directs you forward)
Lunge def ruins creams entire concept, and so does dash. Imagine trying to get away from being targeted and the player just charges towards you, the ability seems a little useless now

Though to outlaik’s credit.. exe metal looks good.

Grab was buffed because people wouldn’t go for it and instead just attack. I mean attack was a lot better. But I feel like it should either be a lunge or 20 damage. The reason grab was bad was because it was to hard to hit. So I could be fine with lunge. But 20 damage????
cream is made to solely rely on the team but she does need at least a small buff with the heal cooldown maybe instead of *_40 seconds its 35-30 seconds_* cream is not *_USELESS_* like the video says but the speed boost can be easily countable with the spin dash or charge but she doesn't need a buff with the speed boost it is definitely balanced and if you don't think the heal cooldown is necessary she at least does need her passive back the *_"hands of kindness"_* cream *_DOES NOT_* need her glide though that's just *_OP_* plus it would be annoying as hell 💀, shadow does need a Nerf with the homing attack but he at least needs *_"i-frames with the dash"_* and metalsonic does need the aiming problem fixed it's actually a *_problem_* Big exe the only one thing he needs is to reduce damage to the grab instead of *_15 damage it should be 11-9 damage and instead of 5-8 hits it should be 4-6 hits and_* But the rest of what this vid says about knuckles is completely over exaggerating although eggman I understand like the shock stun time was kinda uncalled for yet necessary like 2 seconds i am fully support but at least reduce the cooldown instead of *_30 seconds it should be 22 seconds_* but i do agree the nerf was necessary and for good reason and small exe *_NEEDS_* to get nerf *_BADLY_* he's so busted
well if knuckles are an goat they can block lunge for you or you could just dodge it same with SpinDash you know they have a little more control knuckles can just also block it
Not outlaik's lawyer, but grapple isnt that bugged, you arent gonna notice it 90% of the time if youre in an actual match, and it works completely fine if you are moving while aiming, ive had many situations where i hit grapple whike moving rather than standing still even if you are supposed to hit it.

-Cream is pretty useful now.
-Rouges evasion got replaced with remote trap. Aswell as other characters got replaced abilities.
-Knuckles got insane cooldown reduces. That should make up for his easily baitable abilities.
-EXES linger is still annoying. Not as annoying. But still annoying.
Overall, most problems were fixed. Eggman is just a big no no still. Imo he was made worser. And the EXES are still shredding through everything. Other than that, most things got fixed!
other things I forgot to mention in the video: 1. Mobility moves not having I-frames (except for creams speed boost and tails glide. Why doesn’t amy,shadow, or eggman get I-frames?)
2. Spammable skills. Why do tails and amy have such abusive cooldowns?? And why does Amy’s hammer throw have 20 seconds? I main amy and I think that’s actual BS.
3. Knuckles is mid. (Not really.)| Ever since hammer throw came back and metal got added. He’s also fallen victim to pretty much badness and joins Cream and eggman into the “Justice for ______!!!” Due to him literally being a worser Amy and metal comebined. I know I suck as Knuckles, But really all he has is punch. Unlike Tails and eggman, Their stuns are easy to hit. And Amy's Hitboxes are larger. I just feel like Knuckles punch needs more linger. Hes not DOWNRIGHT TRASH. But his main ability just feels not rewarding. Both Amy and Knuckles have the same duration, But Amy's hammer attack has better hitboxes. Thus meaning Hammer attack can be hit slighty more. So punch needs more linger. And don’t get me wrong Knuckles mains can be CRACKED. But he just feels so bland. His punch needs a slight buff. Not to mention block also feels kinda useless…all you have to do is not attack and it’s literally SO PREDICTABLE. If punch doesn’t get buffed, atleast reduce his block cd.
4. Rouge buffs and nerfs. Honestly just buff rouge slightly. Not that much, but just buff her Flashbang hitbox, and nerf her Flashbang CD to 26.5. Because why is it spammable??? Plus she’s meant to be hidden and evasion is already a pain anyway. Plus when going against big exe it makes it unfair against him because his hitbox is so BIG!! Like nerf the CD so the big exe can get a break atleast…
5. Cream being designed to be useless. From what I’ve heard, someone told me in Outlaiks stream that cream was designed to be bad. So then what’s the point of giving her heal? One of the most game changing abilities in the game…? How is she supposed to get everyone to tank a hit in 1 minute and 30 seconds??Bring back glide tbh. Or atleast buff her heal or bring back hands of kindness to help her heal everyone faster.
6. Metals grapple. It’s so poorly made it’s not even funny….Yall saw that too in the video aswell right???
Idk about the cream glide thing, but she definitely needs a buff. Eggman DEFINITELY NEEDS A BUFF. Big exes grab lunge needs to be slightly nerfed and give more punishment when lunging because grab is just annoying atp :p, I get it’s for people to use it more, but there’s room for improvement:p

Shadows are helpful. 80% of shadow mains actually do their job. Thank you! I barely complain about shadow mains cause most of them are actually good teammates. Rouges never place sensors in the right spots. Please make sure you just wait before you place sensors. Can’t really be harsh on rouges cause it’s hard having to run around the map replacing 24/7. And Metal sonics just never Metal sonic… they always sit there…I get that your playing as a sacrifice character, but that’s the point. SACRIFICE. if you’re actually helpful and a team player with your main character, THANK YOU. Don’t be the average useless TD player who picks a character just to not do their job please .*cough* public amys, metals, creams, and knuckles *cough* (*mostly*) And about my take on EXE nerfs? I’m 100% agreeing with small exe nerf idc. For big exe, I rewatched the video and was a little bit too harsh on him??? Maybe he needs some buffs, but there should be a thing where as soon as you get grabbed your immediately revealed to all teammates. I still think grab has some room for improvement. Other than that, big EXE isn’t really a problem, it’s the small EXE. That thing needs to be nerfed NOW.
Once again, this isn’t meant to send hate to Outlaik or devs. I just think the game could improve since if im being honest…Its balancing its pretty garbage at the moment. Of course, It would be fairly op for when it first comes out, but I think it would bring him to a perfect spot. (There could be a downside where you take damage from using the shock in a dangerous scenario(Like a longer cooldown, or taking 25 Dmg outright (will not kill you)))

OutLaik said that the game should be easy for the EXE, not for the survivors, that's why it's so unfair. I get that the survivors shouldn't be too OP since there can be a lot of them and can easily overpower the EXE, but right now, the game is heavily focused on the EXEs to make them even harder to fight with (which, I guess, should be a challenge for the survivors, since it should be hard for them, not the EXE), but the EXE can literally slaughter the whole team of 6, for example, within a minute or two, which is extremely frustrating. They should make both teams at least a LITTLE more balanced, because right now, the game is all about luck and hope that you have a decent enough team which can give somebody time to at least win a solo run. The bugs and other things should definitely get fixed, I agree on that.

A complaint I have is that Hide and Seek Act 1 is like the most broken map in this game. Here’s a few examples of stuff I’ve seen/have issues with:
-Exe gets pushed through a wall, rendering him stuck until the round ended
-Exe gets stuck in a rock after grabbing Metal while Metal had activated Push at the same time
-Metal being revived by me and immediately being thrown off the map because he was revived while being near a invisible wall(he was grabbed by Exe)
-Some of the walls near springs aren’t smooth, causing people to get stuck. A player shouldn’t be able to get stuck in a wall, that’s bad map design, especially when the walls that are like that are in tight, small spots that make it easier to get hit by Exe
-The monochrome effect when you get picked up is BAD on this map. You cannot see anything 3 feet in front of you, I can see better in … and that maps whole thing is being dark.
Bonus Issue I have with maps:
-In Hide and Seek Act 2, Metal Sonic and Exe were both thrown off the map when you guessed it, the both used Grab + Push at the same time.
-Kind and Fair has an issue where characters like Amy, Shadow, Eggman and Tails can just camp somewhere while everyone else can go fuck themselves apparently. Too many people do this and it ruins the map for me honestly.
-Hill is too big and needs less invisible wall areas.
The hasa1 springs have always been buggy with the terrain
The removal of tackle was the most foul thing in this update I don’t care what you guys say especially since homing attack is trash

@@Thescrawnyrottenshrimp I've played a fair amount of 1.2 Shadow and here's the most useful scenarios I've found for Homing Attack! :D
1) Use it kind of like a block. If you know EXE will lunge at you, quickly hit it to counter him. If you do it right it never fails.
2) Simply combo it with Boost. (Boost > Homing Attack). I'd recommend you do this if:
a) You're far from your teammates and need to buy some time to reach them, or
b) You can knock EXE off a cliff with Homing Attack. Do note it's sometimes better to save Homing Attack or Boost for things such as grabs!
3) Use it to juke the EXE. Fall off of a high place, and when EXE falls after you, use the Homing Attack to boost yourself back onto the high place and gain distance. This is especially good in maps like "...", You Can't Run or sometimes You Can't Run 2.
Those are the 3 best uses I've found for it. It's a decent ability, just a bit gimmicky.

I agree. Small exe lunge is big problem, I dodge then he comes back around and hits me anyways. 2, eggmans shock (in my opinion) cooldown should be lowered to 25 seconds. And mabe the hight of the jetpack boot increased. Also metals grapple is actually accurate for me

Ideas- cream glide to be back but in another way, if she would jump from very tall building her glide would activate but its not like she can activate her glide every time she jumps her glide would have also 40/20 cooldown and only activates when she jumos from tall height , or mix her glide with speed boost meaning her ability to glide would be back but speed boost removed but mixed with her glide so if she would activate her glide she would glide faster but go down faster ,sonic exe nerf- make the cooldown long just like sonic exe 2, for sonic exe 2 they should make the grab damage low but fast , shadow-erm idk

-Knuckles is a character that really needs a buff but i dont see anyone talking about it,Block depending on the exe can be really useless(Just dont attack him too early),Punch as well,its so slow in comparision with Amy's hammer attack that it can be predictable sometimes,to fix that two things could be done, 1-Give Knuckles a Lunge when hes going to punch,2-Could be a third ability for him,i think his Spin attack from Nb and Nbr should be his 3rd ability,it would work like pre-rework Shadow's Dash
exe 2 is genuelly built to be bullied so no theres 11 offense moves in the game w his big hitbox and slow movement spee hes very easy to loop and get thrown off ledges nerfing him would make him unplayable (he already is close to unplayable in the current version)
knuckles is very good just relies on skill his cooldonwns are low if u hit ur moves ur never gonna get hit and also hammer attack and punch have the same speed (w hammer attack having a larger hitbox)
Outlaik said he’s not going to buff knuckles as he has always been a well rounded character. I do agree he might need a buff later on because other characters keep getting buffed.
I'd say the best buff you can give Knuckles is make it so the block works if he collides with EXE while EXE is doing his attack animation, not if EXE directly hits him. That way it's a lot more consistent, since a lot of the time block doesn't work simply because EXE straight up missed the attack on Knuckles even though EXE phased through him, and now Knuckles is defenseless.
Let’s see if these problems were fixed in the update!
Cream is now MUCH better! Overheal can basically negate grab, it has a shorter cooldown than heal, and it can easily allow survivors that got revived to still fight the exe and help the team.
Eggman’s turrets are good when used right, and his jetpack is amazing now. I just wish he still had shock with his kit, but Outlaik says he’ll never add it back 😔
As for lunge, I’m not sure if it got nerfed, but the hitboxes seem much bigger now. I’ve jumped over exes, and survivors have jumped over me when I’m exe, but they still get hit. This has sorta happened before the full release, but I feel like it happens even more now. And sadly linger still exists
honestly I really like this update, but there are just so many flaws that ruin the experience for me, especially grab, like have you seen how fast the blood drain is for that thing

Without teammates near me I’m just a target for exe when I use up my shock, that nerf wasn’t necessary at all!
But even with this nerf I can get some wins just barely…
If I was to change one thing about eggman which would be a plus and a negative id change how the shock works, here me out
I feel like shock could work like Sallys Sheild, when hit by exe it’s gone but when a minion does it takes away durability, so here’s my suggestion…
Whenever eggman has his shock on and a minion is hit by it it’s still there but the shock will be weakened a bit, it would take 3 minions to get rid of the shock and if the exe gets stunned it would be used completely, the positives of this idea is that you will be able to stun many other exes to make it easier for you and others to escape, the negatives however would be if minions were to take the shock for the exe the shock would be gone or to weak to properly stun the exe making very risky but very rewarding to hit exe with the stun

It's about time someone spoke up about small exe's hitbox, it needs to be nerfed.
Eggman was fine beforehand. He didn’t need the nerf imo. Before he was great at defending himself considering the fair stun time and the area of effect when shock is activated. But now he’s more just a stun chain starter.
(Oh and don’t get me started with his stun time when exe has shortened stun times cuz of the stun chain nerf RAAAAH)
I think they should at least make the Stun Shortening effect not apply to him. (it's a 2 second stun ffs) that way he's useful for starting stun chains or something. Right now the only use he has is zoning EXE away from teammates. Even then, the 30 second cooldown is, yikes..

As a Cream main, i think its fair to give her 1 passive and 3 abilities so she can be a solo and a teamwork, also buffing her heals to 35 is much better than 25, due to it being SO bad, i know its a pain for small exes, but we need to buff her too because big exes do 1 hit and they are cooked if Cream only healed them once, im honestly disappointed in the games fanbase.

Tails and Amy are having abusive cooldowns, Glide with 30 seconds? 20 from Hammer Throw but 28 and 31 from Hammer Bounce and Hammer Attack?
Metal Sonic's grapple is poorly made, Shadow is difficult to use but he's at least decent, unlike Tackle Shadow or Block Shadow which usually... A knuckles, amy or an Eggman easily replaces him.
Hill map is a mess to navigate, they removed many parts that helped you escape and added MANY areas with invisible walls, in addition to removing the bridge.
Rouge is okay, she's meant to be difficult, crying about her is a skill issue, but yes, she needs some measly buffs. Knuckles is generic and boring to use, he's simply a metal Sonic, an Amy worse and without any charismatic skill
I find some songs really boring, like Escape from the Test Zone and Has1, And how many characters have their kits changed or nerfed for no reason
Removal of passive perks, such as Hand of Kindness, Nerves of Stell or Rouge's old passive, remove Glide from Cream,Add EMP to Sally but remove her roll???? Why???? Nerf the skills by decreasing range, duration, hit distance, but increasing the cooldown without adding a third skill (Tails, Eggman, Knuckles, Cream, Shadow, Sally because Give Shield doesn't count as a thrid skill)
And since the game is taking a long time to add new things, since 1.0 the game doesn't seem to progress much, I consider 1.1 the worst update so far because it's simply the most bruh thing possible.
At least in the current update 1.2, Metal Sonic and Base came, let's hope this doesn't become something rare and Outlaik manages to make the game evolve more than it already is.
And no, it's not a hate letter to Outlaik or saying that his project is bad, I know it's hard to work alone on a big project, but still, there's always room for improvement. And I honestly love this game, despite the problems of this current version, I hope, pray that Outlaik reads the reviews and comes back with things removed from the past

From the calculations I had made, the idea or closest to it would be 40 HP for 36 cooldawn
Brute exe: 100 - 65 = 35 + 40 = 75 - 65 = 10
Classic Exe: 100 - 45 = 55 - 45 = 10 + 40 = 50 - 45 = 5
The 36 cooldawn is due to the fact that Cream already takes 4 seconds to finish healing her, so, 36 + 4, 40, equal to what she provides, it cannot give an extremely high cooldawn because otherwise the usefulness disappears
And yes, I agree that exes deserve a Nerf, I liked the ideas but it doesn't execute, grab Lunge wouldn't be problematic if it activated the damage tracker and the damage and bleed itself wasn't very strong, classic exe I like it like that, at most I would put a slightly smaller range, a greater consequence for using the lunge, and increase the for its damage
The current balance problem is not exactly that the exes are too strong, but rather that they are too strong but the survivors are too weak, as I mentioned above. Abusive cooldown, predictable skills, generic skill sets, useless supports, etc., etc., meanwhile an exe grabs you by the neck and sucks your life out of a straw as if they were drinking a milkshake

aside from that many people complain about the hitboxes and guess what outlaik already tried to fix them its just the ping,the worse it it the worse your hitbox will be and vice versa
im pretty sure that hitboxes refresh overtime to sync with your character but because of the ping it lags and can freeze in one place so it fails to sync in time

Exmes can destroy them but they can be useful for metal sonic these badniks can be played by AI or players in the lobby if they are boring

Knuckles punch.. Why does small exe have long ahh linger, and big exe and can deal massive damage and have grab lunge.. but then knuckles gets punished because he was 1 centimeter to far from exe. Knuckles punch should have linger to it.

Now with the new 1,2 released cream’s heal actually works a bit now. You don’t have to heal twice just to make someone not vulnerable to big and small EXE. I haven’t actually played as eggman in 1.2 yet but I will edit this when I play as him.

Alr I played as him and I have to admit, he’s better than his older version. Not counting 1.0 and 1.1 because those were when eggman was actually good. The turret works better than the shock since you can hide for most of the rounds compared to being at risk in normal EXE TD rounds
Also in the new update,they removed eggmans Electric attack with some turret that slows down the EXE,which....seems useless because you can lunge and charge (Small Exe and Kolossos)

They both get countered in the same way, they both work as a shield in the same way, and they are both temporal. It’s your opinion though so you don’t have to agree. But the opinion on eggman? I really hope the 1.2 prototype comes back because there it felt more fair and less jittery when exe hits you, and exe and survivors wasn’t completely op not to mention how they nerfed amy so hard in this update, hammer throw is garbage and hammer attack is just lacking it’s charm in all honesty, plus it’s hitbox was significant changed which makes it way harder to actually hit exe, and thats if you’re lucky bc most exes bait you into it and spam lunge to kill you. I swear these exes are so garbage in their own scenarios
1:45 they added linger to knuckles punch and exes lunge which means the hitbox lasts a bit longer to get a hit easier
Outlaik noticed how suspiciously moderately balanced Eggman was looking and decided to he had to ruin it.
But in all seriousness, the only characters worth playing anymore are;
..oh right, theres hardly any! Let me rank them from worst to best any why, because nobody asked and I have the power to type whatever I want.
- Eggman. He's not necessarily the worst on his own, but given how his fall from grace (which is a tragedy and should be documented on), he looks miserable.
- Shadow. Again, he used to be cool. A good support. Now? Now he's more useless than Cream, because once you've used both your short ass abilities, you're cooked.
- Cream, of course. Her speed boost is so easily counter-able, and heal does next to nothing if your teammates aren't lucky as hell and have half a braincell.
- Tails. If you have good aim and the map is suited to you, he's alright. The moment you land from glide though, its over, unless you're just built like that. (and I mean *really* built like that)
- Amy. Hear me out, I was going to put Sally here but, for reasons I didn't. Amy seems amazing on paper, 3 abilities, all with different uses- but 1. Her hammer attack is so janky, 2. hammer bounce is good on certain maps, but easily counter-able on others, plus it only buys you like 5 seconds thanks to- you guessed it, charge/spindash. And 3, hammer throw is good and all, until you realise you're going to be without a hammer for a damn long time unless your team is useful enough to help you get it back, because every moment you go for it exe will just pounce.
- Sally. Without shield, she's kinda mid, however I find if you use her shield and EMP strategically, the cooldowns are alright, cuz' once one runs out the other is soon to regen.
- Rouge. This might sound like some stupid opinion, but what more could you want from a character? You can hide when your team is doing f* all, you can blind exe which goes in par with your ability to hide, you can place sensors which helps you not run into the exe when you're evading him, plus it helps your team too. And if that wasn't good enough, you get what is essentially an attack dodge too, with all moderate cooldowns.
- Knuckles. Yes, I am biased. His cooldowns are really short, and although block sucks ass, you can still get it to work in your favour if you're used to Knuckles enough. And even when it does get you hit, the same can be said for a lot of other character's abilities.
And finally, the best character, Metal Sonic. You get a goofy ass hitbox which practically guarantees ATLEAST 70 dt if you have skill, an ability that can throw exe off of literally any ledge you desire, and a grapple that can either act as a start-up for your push, or to drag exe down to the abyss. Also his cooldowns are fair for how messed up his hitbox is and the fact he has 3 hits.

For Shadow just use the *stuns* when the entire team is on the exe, if you are already hit just use homing attack and use boost to escape
If say sally is the best, if your good at juking and using your EMP you can easily outplay the EXE. Unless its small exe. Hes too fast
@@M3mMMriz3 Yeah, Sally's cooldowns are comparable to Knuckles' cooldowns. If you're good at juking you can easily stall EXE on your own for at least 30 seconds.
And on top of all of that metal has a mobility tool. you can literally use push to run. (which is a good idea if there are no ledges/people around)
why does everyone keep saying it’s public aphla? I know,you know,we know but it doesn’t excuse the blatant unbalance of the game right now outlaik has to fix some stuff before releasing the 1.2 update to the game like the balance definitely,I don’t play this game anymore but hopefully it becomes actually balanced and fun to play

which why when I'm exe I often dont Prioritize Cream knowing she barely holds any weight to the team as a healer.
Hopefully the new eggman ability that will replace shock will bring him back to glory
Ngl the fact people are way to good like, survive with a higher presentige and then exe they decemate everyone, i honestly think there could be a ranking system, where they rank people with your skill level or give the better people harder versions of exe or nerf just them
As an Eggmain, I was devastated when Eggy got nerfed...
Also (after getting to Metal's Grapple), not sure if I suck with aiming, but Amy's Hammer Throw is kinda iffy too. I know since it travels an arc, that you have to like... adjust your aim if that makes sense? But I feel like the hammer should just land where your cursor is.
If outlaik intended to make gameplay more team-based, he could add mechanics which manipulates players to play more actively brtween... But he preferred more irrational decision to balance eveything , so it would be easier for us to throw our beloved mains into garbage can. There actually more issues than aforementioned, like possibility for big exe to spam his abilities and less unique maps, but eith or without them gameplay is less fun.
the game is called "public alpha" for a reason
I personally have issues with TD's design as a whole,a survival game which is centered about being able to fight back in a way should not be this reliant on juking,the character abilities themselves should be sufficient enough to win not something that can be easily face tanked.

True. But creams heal ability is generally weak due to everyone being able to die under 2 minutes due to exes linger. Which is pretty disappointing for cream because heal is the only ability in the game that restores HP and is a game changer. Unfortunately, heal is heavily countered :CCCCCC

And I feel like grapple should be slightly inaccurate so that way it doesn't over shadow Tails.

Im gonna be honest, the points you make are very valid, it is nice big exe is alot more balanced now, grab is still a problem, i get why it has lunge now, it was way too hard to hit and at that point why would you use it over attack if its gonna miss, the damage buff was NOT needed, grab is meant to punish lone survivors yet it can down a survivor in 2 seconds flat, and if your team is just a bit too far away your dead, i feel like the grab lunge could stay becausr again, its a lone survivor punish, but the pummel damage needs to be nerfed and the blood drain needs a bit of a nerf, and i say that as a big exe main, im very dissapointed with the exe's this update, big was super close to being balanced and small exe was made even more braindead, i used to main small exe when he actually required some skill, but i feel like 1.2's full release wont be too bad, maybe im coping tho

and big exe deals more Damage and It has a lunge on the Grab for a Small buff on him because Mobile Users has a Hard time Grabbing like in 1.0.

Another thing I wish they added back was Sally’s roll, I don’t really like the EMP all that much because to even hit it you gotta go CLOSE the exe or minion only for them to be slowed down. You do get a speed boost but to me it’s not really that long and I’m pretty sure you could just use the dash or spin dash to catch back up quickly, the worse part is if you miss your basically screwed because now your right next to the thing trying to kill you. Not only that but you can be hit while doing the EMP so even if you do hit it you’re one step closer to dying all for him to be slowed down? You can use your shield to make sure you don’t get hit but that just feels like a waste of a shield.
It can be useful to help teammates by slowing him down but it’s not even for that long anyway ( In my opinion ofc ) and again if you miss then it’s basically just a A for effort. It can also be good if you have to solo but honestly that roll has saved me way more them the EMP ever did ( I was a sally main while roll was still in game ) and yes, you can just play the 1.0 version bc the roll is still in that one but why would anyone wanna play 1.0? I just think the EMP is not that great, but then again it’s just my opinion and if you like it then that’s fine also.

The sally buff kinda sucks, sally is just wayy too good and cream just gets dunked on, like 25 sec to 20 sec cd shield?? And the emp is almost a buffed version of roll
As an Eggman main he is fun to just ambush the EXE with and it works as a sort of counter

Also I feel Big EXE's grab is fine outside of the lunge, it punishes people who dont stick to a group.
im so mad they gave big exe a block, aswell as it having less cooldown then most stuns, nerf it for electric attack (shock and arm cannon) to stun it, and block only for melee (punch, hammer attack, hammer throw)
Something I just remembered, he has one odd advantage. Due to his large hitbox he doesnt have to jump into the ending ring, he can walk into it. Meaning if you used your jump and its on CD you can still exit.
I have a lot of thoughts on this apparently. I hate how Creams heal is only 25, especially against Big EXE. They invalidate Creams existence by existing. Small EXE for all his bullshit still respects with health. One heal gives someone another hit against Small EXE and if you want to give someone another hit you have to heal them twice. It allows for the heals to be spread more naturally.

My thoughts.
- Eggs shock will be replaced the same way sally happened to her roll. Thats why they nerfed his abilities FOR NOW
- Cream. If they designed it bad, why would heal even be in the game. It dosent make sense because she fu**ing got nerfed a bajillion times in 1.1 because of her reduced speed after 4 seconds. Kind hands passive is also bad because kf we revive teams early or late, it would just give survivors less or slight hp. They couldnt have make heal 50+ with 55 seconds lf cooldown (or maybe your idea with an 75 second cooldown instead.) she cant fu**ing tank 1 person every 1 min and 20 seconds while everyone is dying, absolute BS.
- Knuckles, since metal came, knuckle users have been hiding or defending themselves instead of being an 2nd sacrificer since his Abilities act the way, grapple is so bad as it can be broken sometimes (Grapple cant make you pull exes if they attack while you grapple them, happens sometimes)
- Amy,shadow, rouge absolute disrespect is bad, amy loosing her s when using hammer bounce. Gainign an 0.5 wind up hammer throw, shadow not getting s FROM ANY OF HIS ABILITIES. However, rouge thoughl just a slight buff, faster flashabng explosion. That barely does anything unless the hitbox is slighky bigger.(Problem is people mostly hide as rouge still instead of using flashbang, i mean it like an self or support ability because it blinds exe but you get what i mean.. ATLEAST HELP???)

Also Healing someone if they have 35 hp is useless cause they will have 60 hp and against big exe they are still one shot and it can be wasted if your teammate isn't a good juker! Please buff the heal atleast to 35 hp.
I just don't understand the problem of outlaik not returning glide for Cream, I would make it so that tails glide is responsible for taking a position or rising to the top, and cream glide is made like rouge from 1.1 and it would be responsible for gaining distance or revives, so it will be different from tails in that, Cream should be near the spring or at the top and will help to quickly reach speed boost (also if I'm not mistaken in glide you can't stop, it always directs you forward)
Lunge def ruins creams entire concept, and so does dash. Imagine trying to get away from being targeted and the player just charges towards you, the ability seems a little useless now
I agree!! They need to buff heal or bring back creams glide because her whole character is ruined and not even fun to play + heal is useless :/ or just nerf exes lunge to give her a little bit more worth.

It’s more so.. designs that aren’t better.. mainly amy and cream. For the most part, other characters are either the same or slightly improved.

Grab was buffed because people wouldn’t go for it and instead just attack. I mean attack was a lot better. But I feel like it should either be a lunge or 20 damage. The reason grab was bad was because it was to hard to hit. So I could be fine with lunge. But 20 damage????
cream is made to solely rely on the team but she does need at least a small buff with the heal cooldown maybe instead of *_40 seconds its 35-30 seconds_* cream is not *_USELESS_* like the video says but the speed boost can be easily countable with the spin dash or charge but she doesn't need a buff with the speed boost it is definitely balanced and if you don't think the heal cooldown is necessary she at least does need her passive back the *_"hands of kindness"_* cream *_DOES NOT_* need her glide though that's just *_OP_* plus it would be annoying as hell 💀,
shadow does need a Nerf with the homing attack but he at least needs *_"i-frames with the dash"_*
and metalsonic does need the aiming problem fixed it's actually a *_problem_*
Big exe the only one thing he needs is to reduce damage to the grab instead of *_15 damage it should be 11-9 damage and instead of 5-8 hits it should be 4-6 hits and_*
But the rest of what this vid says about knuckles is completely over exaggerating although eggman I understand like the shock stun time was kinda uncalled for yet necessary like 2 seconds i am fully support but at least reduce the cooldown instead of *_30 seconds it should be 22 seconds_* but i do agree the nerf was necessary and for good reason and small exe *_NEEDS_* to get nerf *_BADLY_* he's so busted

Not outlaik's lawyer, but grapple isnt that bugged, you arent gonna notice it 90% of the time if youre in an actual match, and it works completely fine if you are moving while aiming, ive had many situations where i hit grapple whike moving rather than standing still even if you are supposed to hit it.
