My 2009 zx6r went 9.95 at 138mph stock wheelbase, stock tune, stock exhaust, on 87 octane. I've got 45,000 miles on it now, I've launched it on the limiter over 100 times. Still has the original steels in the clutch. They are blue from all the heat, I just rough them up on the garage floor. It's a great bike.

Make 600's great again
Back in 2006 when I got my 636 I dropped and stretched it immediately. I eventually ran a best of 10.09 with it dropped/stretched/geared and a little 40 dry shot. That was also at a low 120mph b/c I was bracket racing trying to not break out. My normal mph was 136-138. LOVED that bike!
Make me want to do a similar zx6r build. I keep trying convince Chris to see how much nitrous his zx6 can handle. The ninja he was trying to blow up. 😂😂

I was wondering about rear caliper drag and how to reduce or eliminate it. Like to take my Suzuki DL677 MM flashed bike to the strip again!
That Edy brake speeds up the dyno times for sure. No more waiting for the drum to stop.
Removing the seals from the bearings is a cheap way to reduce drag also. Use Mobil 1 blue EM grease!

Brake drag on the front before and after were different. Not saying the wheel bearings are not good because they are buuut…

Hollow the catalyst out of the factory header & the m4 gp style can does very well when tuned.
Swing arm effects numbers?? More like the weight of the LONGER chain along with gearing.

Don't get me wrong. The bearings are noticeably better. Especially rolling it around in the shop or driveway. If you ride a lot a lot alot a lot on the street you may notice the turn in is smoother but as far as actual "performance" (going faster) per dollar ain't no way they're worth that much money. Overpriced mod. You'll notice %100000 more difference with the bike having Chris tune it for you.
The bearings definitely make a difference on the track

Sure can get dyno sessions wrapped up sooner without sitting there waiting for the dyno drum to quit spinning.
So would it be good to say what ever your swingarm is you lose half that in hp. If its 10in u lose 5hp. if its 16in over u lose about 8 and so on
