Happy for yall to finally be getting the recognition yall deserve, I wish you guys had a little more insight on all the teams and kind of explaining what you think the problems are, like the biggest thing for me was obviously optic kept trying to do solo plays I also thought that the speed that huke and shottzy usually are at seemed completely off at the tournament, it seemed like everyone was just off the whole tournament which makes me sad because I feel like this might be huke's last chance to finally get a good showing and actually stay on a solid team, like the fact that he got dropped from 3 teams is crazy those being LAG,Optic, and Surge. I really do just think though that they need a bootcamp and to actually play back to being themselves, no more excuses just pure passion, again though congratsssss!!!!!!
And yes I know you can say this about both teams, but faze is lowkey 2 plays away from winning this 4-0. The scrap 1v3 on Haci hp to keep the game within reach. And the gifted spawn to hydra on the redcard hp which allowed him to shoot 3 people in the back and give lat spawns for the last p2
Carolina's floor depends on Teej, Carolina's ceiling depends on Gwinn. Gwinn has been solid on LAN so far, but he hasn't had a true pop off tournament yet. If he has a tournament like what Envoy had, and everyone else is still playing at a similar level to now, they can make a Final and challenge the top teams
This was just early season fluky shit. They’ll be top 6 the rest of the year and possibly break top 4 in a couple tourneys. Carolina had TJ playing unreal and barely got 4th.
Legitimately pred to ravens makes them an actual contender IMO. Tj to 3rd smg or 2nd AR. Pred/gwinn could hypothetically cook, pred elevates their determination on LAN without hurting their snd
As an optic fan im very concerned for how much shouldering for information was utilized on LAN and it clearly hurt shottzy/huke alot. Not saying they cant adapt, but a game where playing for information becomes king over using movement to win fights the less confident i am saying optic can win an event
Scrap saved that first map, faze was up 170-90 and were looking to get the last 30 seconds. But with 3 dead scrap walked in and got a 3 piece and allowed lat to get the last 30. If not for that faze likely go up 200-90 and don’t lose that first map
C9 roster move idea, drop attach for pred move Mack to the flex/ar. Imo if pred is ready to go this move can put them in the ultra realm of teams bc Mack is debatably better on an ar than a sub in his career.
Grand finals need to be only 1 control, should be HP, SND, HP, Control, SND, HP, SND. Why are we putting only 2 hard points in a grand final? Just seems like these best of 7 grand finals could be a way better format.
It's interesting but I think that team lacks a lot of maturity, sort of similar to LAT last year they have pieces and a semi high ceiling, but even with all guns firing they are missing a main voice/IGL
@mkwsoxfan imo it works, Lamar knows how everyone plays too. They need to speed up there roster, they play like slugs, this is a extremely fast pace game too.
@JMaverik you right but even I was an optic fan at some point. I appreciate them but I'm not calling optic of all teams "my" team. Optic is the cod team for the people. Everyone knows they are a huge part of this scene. But one things for sure, optic brought about the most parasocial cod fans
