I asked Octane, Attach and Gunless all the same question on their streams, 'Whats the most important thing for an AR player?', and they all said "Knowing when to play fast and when to play slow". Alot of the ARs have a pacing issue this year having 1 gear.
I think there's some nuance to this. Agree that BO6 suits Huke's playstyle, generally. The problem is Huke often runs and guns by his lonesome. That always works better at the start of games than at the end of games

I find similarities between snd Cold War faze and bo6 faze. The way they are able to be a man down and yet still find ways to come back is insane. The fact they are a man up, they’re able to section off areas of the map and corner the enemy team. As long as faze tune their hp, and not let teams come back. They will be untouchable.
I was telling friends from the jump that there was no way after pred was able to deal with his personal issues that they wouldn't bring him back. It just didn't make any sense to toss him away and act like he didn't exist. Preds apart of the OpTic fam. All love for huke. I still love him as a player and wish there were better circumstances for him, but there was no way Hector or the team didn't talk it over with him saying this could possibly be a temporary position. I hate that people are trying to say OpTic did him dirty. They brought him in quickly after Preds initial step down and let him show case his skills on BO6. There is no way Huke doesn't get grabbed by a team. Wish him the absolute best. Very happy AG is back, and hopefully, he feels better than ever, and the boys are ready to get it going 🤙
The difference between this event and online was throwing shoulders for information was much much more urilized. Online is a BANGOUT, LAN slows down as usual. Who gets worse when the game slows down? Shottzy/huke, those two were nearly singlehandedly carrying optic in HPs with engagements/kills online, swap to the major and they cant buy a hardpoint win. Real bummer, because although i know optic can adapt to the new style, their ceiling in a game that slows down is much much lower than what it would be if the game stays fast
Granted there was still bangout moments, but it seemed the meta play was shoulder info, get a teammate to chall with you, rinse repeat. Optic wasn't doing that strat from what I saw

If pred did somehow get back on optic I think Huke should go to Boston. Giant upgrade over purj, I know you’ll lose some of that IGL that purj brings but I think Huke can do that in SND and cammy can in the respawns

I know Huke had the best kd at the tournament but some of his plays were frustrating to watch. He challs everything and dies when he needs to stay alive. Against gm8 on skyline, they had p4 rotation, huke on point and he ran off point, died, they got broken, and lost spawns. Yes, Dashy and Kenny were nonexistent but Kd is not the whole story..
They literally lost that hp cuz kenny went 0-16 in the second half and couldn't stop himself from yying at the end and got slapped by renkor as a result. Idk how huke is getting blamed for this lmfao.
Huke was the only one on the team doing anything, he made some bad plays but the good ones far outweigh the bad and when the others are getting straight up turned on the whole event you have to play hero
Cmon I get it but it’s such a minor point in the grand scheme of things. Ant is LITERALLY not making superstar plays like we are used to. Kenny going on 16 death streak causing loss of rotations big gunfights for scrap etc… you can’t point a couple bad p4 holds on Huke.

Paul is just bad at all 3 gamemodes while on a better team that should make his stats look better, can’t even use the excuse of him being good at SnD like some others to excuse the respawn’s
I think gentlemates is good and doesn't need to make a change. Yes they have had matches were they don't seem very competitive. But for the most part being able to take basically every team they have faced so far to a game 5 is commendable at the very least. From my perspective just looking at matches as a fan. They just need to close out games and they would be probably a top 6 team right away. I genuinely haven't felt like they are bad or need to blow it up. I have only felt like they under perform which speaks to their ceiling (potential) in my mind at least.
I mean tbf the not scrimming falcons is extremely justifiable. Even if you look at the bet365 outright betting markets for winning CDL champs, falcons odds are 500/1 and the next worst is surge at 50/1. They are so far away from the next worst team.
Keep KHHX and Exnid. Pay Pred the bag. Then you just need a big shooter on AR and the team all of a sudden becomes a competitor. Love Clay, but he's always thought outside of the box. Put Parasite on that squads coaching. Potential AR's are huge and the one that sticks out that is available, is Illey. Illey and KHHX. Exnid and Pred. Done

Etc" tippable composure from faze for sure, but im not ready to start sating they dramatically looked/sounded more composed this weekend
