Thank you for all the Great and Wonderful content, Xxiou! I only wish I'd found you sooner, I only learned of your existence after your passing! You will be sorely missed by all of us! Fair winds and following sails to you, Xxiou!
Just payin my respects! Heard about your passing on reddit. Didnt even know this video was you when searching glitch techniques. Then i saw the name... Bless your soul traveller and travellers such as myself are still learning from your teachings ill make many great bases in your name with said teaching so you may live on forever
I just spent the last 2 hours building this. By the time I was placing the globes, I had the wire glitch down perfect. Thank you for this, it’s the perfect look for my new base.
I’ve never tried the wire glitch, only the switch glitch. Found a perfect uninhabitable planet this morning right at the edge of the galaxy. Tomorrow, I’m building a space station and trying my damndest to use this technique. Thanks!
I know you're gone now but thanks for this anyway. I have returned to No Man's Sky after a couple of years and this was the best video I came across to remind me how to do this, as it was in the first place. Thanks Xxiou.
Thanks so much. Your video was easy to follow because you explained everything and did not rush. I really love this aspect of the game and your video has been hugely helpful. Cheers.
I think they need to add more choices in the furniture and make the fire in the fireplace orange again. Imagine if they had candles, that would be cool.
Thank you Xxiou, I need that as a reactor part in enginering on my freighter. Only problem is I have rebuilt my freighter with the new parts like ten times already and with no final concept in sight. Oh well, pracise makes a lot of work I guess.
@@Mr-Fish0 There are ways with glitching a base computer very high up near the freighter and building parts that way (several videos available out there), but the easyest way is with a PC account and the "gBase" mod. That one allows you to build all parts everywhere (i.e. also freighter parts on land and land parts on freighters). If you are using a console, I would recomend linking up with a friend playing on PC wich have or can get the mod, and granting build rights on your freighter, asking them to build what you want. Hope that clarifies it somewhat, Happy Building.
I was wondering what fun piece you were gonna use, and right before you said I stated out loud "Flaming Barrels" thinking that would not work well... It's Flaming Barrels lol.
It is the same technique as building on a planet. The way I was able to build it on a freighter was because I play on PC and use a MOD called Gbase which allows me to use my building parts anywhere.
You don't need a mod, you can use the scale glitch to resize. But for example if you wanted to build a bigger one of these you would build a bigger circle. I believe this was a 16 sided but you could kick it up to a 32 sided which would make the whole thing much larger.
The light floors are not glitched in. They are just placed on the base you made for the circle. So no glitching needed when putting in your light floors. Hope that helps if I am misunderstanding let me know.
@@XxiouGames basically, it won't let me put down light floors if they're overlapping. Been driving me nuts. I made the circle base like you did but now light floor says invalid position.
@@abhisheksaha4487 I have had this when glitching in the base structure of tiles has been tricky and I have unwittingly put two tiles in the same place... this will prevent other tiles snapping to them. Go through the tiles one by one, and delete any that might be doubled up.
Xxiou, great how-to video, but I believe this "How To Build CIRCLES of FLAMING Barrels" technique was shared with you a few weeks ago by another builder (player)... at minimum, credit should be going to @ZombieKatrundo (PC) or @steviemch (PS) as he built this very same thing about a month or more ago at his base! A little shout out (kudo's) to those who you borrow from goes a long way!
Thanks for the info! I had no idea so please don't assume I "borrowed" this idea from anyone else because I 100% did not see any of those videos you mentioned nor do I know those content creators. I always give credit and if I did a video that I learned from someone else I would definitely shout them out and link their channels. I believe the first one of these I built was on live stream and I was just messing around with the new barrels. I am sure many people out there glitched the barrels in a circle. I just googled both the players you mentioned and did not see any channels. If you can give me the links or they want to give me links to their channel I will for sure pin it. But again, please don't jump to conclusions, I did not steal this from anyone, we likely just had the same idea as I am sure many people did, a ring of fire is a pretty common thing to try and build once we got this piece. I appreciate your concern and I hope you know with as much as I do for this community I would never steal something from another creator and try and pass it off as my own creation. Had I seen this anywhere else I would not even have bothered to make a video about it. So again, man, I did not borrow this idea and if someone else had a video out first I never saw it or was aware of it. Happy to give credit to others though and pin a link to their channels if you can give them to me.
Thanks for watching. If you build one please post it in my discord or tag me on twitter @XxiouGames

Build it in front of a portal. Then activate the portal. I would really like to see that. Amazing.
Good idea! Thanks for watching.
If anybody builds one of these in a portal, please share coordinates. I'd love to visit, but I'm way too lazy to try glitch building
What im gonna to do is just put a teleport terminus in the middle so you can actually teleport

wait, how can you build that inside the freighter?
I mean, some parts (including the wires themselves) are not available inside the freighter.

Is glitch building possible in VR
I personally have never played NMS in VR so not sure, anyone out there know the answer?

I can't seem to glitch light floors together. Keeps saying invalid position. Any one else facing this? On ps4
