Yep. It was back in 2017 when i first got the sims 4 as a Christmas gift and i had only the base game. I don't have him anymore and i could recreate it since i kind of remember his face template and clothes.
One of my favorite sims was in my Sims 2 custom neighborhood. Her name was Selena. She was the grandchild of 2 of the original 6 couples who first moved into the neighborhood. Due to only the active household aging and the neighborhood now having over 20 households, I played her from the beginning of the pandemic until a few weeks ago. The first time she died of old age, I wasn’t ready to let go of her yet, so I used a genie lamp to resurrect her and her husband. A few sim-days after she died a second time, the family got another genie lamp, and I was tempted to resurrect her and her husband yet again, but at that point, her son and daughter-in-law were about to become elders, so I decided to let them go and use the new lamp to extend the next generation’s lives instead.
How do you cope with the boring autonomy in The Sims 4? I also like to play as a “fly on the wall”, but when I let Sims 4 sims do their own thing, they usually just use electronics all day.
For me I play with a mixture of mods and some story telling rules I’ve set for myself. My sims family has a history at this point so sometimes I do choose what to do for my sims on certain things based off of who I believe they are as well as if it makes sense in the story that’s been going on. Autonomy will sometimes do things that make sense and I’ll roll with it but unfortunately most of the time in the sims 4, all sims will act the same regardless of personality. When a sim does something that doesn’t make sense I’ll ignore it. That’s why mods that add more traits that have an actual effect in game are necessary for me.
Hey, thank you! 💙 I go back and forth between the sims 2, 3, & 4 so I have specific families I like to play with when I have time to sit down and play for a while. I play the sims 4 for a while before ignoring it again for months which is why I have this save file for so long! The sims 4 is fun when I play it once in a while so I don’t get burnt out.
Man i ended up losing my origin account and lost all my sims 3 (had all of them) and sims 4 (had most of them) and was very upset, I have to start over on buying them back even though I’m really discouraged to do so, I think after I buy persona 3-5 I’ll start buying the sims back (long story although I didn’t do anything bad, more like the email I used isn’t like verified) but anyways your sims are so beautiful moni!
Ever had a favorite sim? What were they like? 🤔

The best sims are the ones born in-game.
Absolutely agree 💯
