    Awesome feature!
    Would love to see the following additions to the model portfolio:
    Breakdown by marketcap, sector and geographical location (not just 1 by 1; also conbination of above)
    ETF breakdown: explore exposure by company weighing. This one is pretty difficult if your portfolio contains multiple ETFs

      Thank you! All of this will come with future versions to Model Portfolios. We like to think we started with a great base, and will improve from here 👍🏼

    Super interesting feature! Would be interesting if active strategies could be modeled as well, such as a momentum strategy with a rebalancing based on performance.

    Please, provide at least one model portfolio for Koyfin Plus users. It would be great if we could have just one. If we can use the same website tool and not other one it would be optimal.

    It would be really nice to have this feature in the Android/IOS app! Monitoring the portfolio on the smartphone helps a lot when we are out on the computer.

    Is it possible to add Shorting an Asset within the Portfolio?

    Hey Rob. Great Video. Is there a way to include regular investing within Model Portfolio and then compare it against an index? Say I invested a $1000 every month into my portfolio or chose random dates to invest - how can I analyze the returns over long periods rather than doing a comparison based on just an initial value?

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  Год назад

      Hey Aditya, that would be more of a portfolio analytics tool (for shares, lot entry, etc).
      Model portfolios have a slightly different use case, but we plan to build something like that too.

    Hello Rob, thanks for your great video.
    I have a question (I am not a professional investor or an advisor)
    Is it possible to have a paper trading feature on Koyfin? it would be very nice to merge this paper trading with the model portfolio in my opinion.
    Thanks a lot.

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  11 месяцев назад

      Hey, thank you!
      We are currently working on something that is more closely aligned with the analytics and tracking of a portfolio as opposed to a model portfolio.
      The first iteration will not include historic trades, but future versions will.

    I was wondering if it will be possible to get metrics such as performance attribution? This is something I had to do in Excel or Python until now and it would be super practical to have it as a tool.

    If this is meant for financial advisors, do you think you can capture specific distribution rate. Secondly, how does it treat dividends ? Thanks

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  Год назад

      The V2 of model portfolios is going to follow up soon, we’re already making a bunch of updates based on feedback from users.
      More granular sectoral data, how weightings/exposures change over time, distribution rates, etc.
      As for dividends, the performance uses total return.

    I'm awful with creating stock screeners , how reliable are your templates ? and can you make a video about that ?

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  2 месяца назад

      Hey there, we provide a few templates to give investors inspiration for the flexibility of the screener. We do have a few videos on screening in our RUclips channel as well.
      If there is anything specific you'd like us to cover, feel free to drop a comment and we can see what we can do!

    Hey, Rob! It would be great if you made it possible to export to PDF for printing, which is handy when communicating with investors. This feature is implemented in many competitors and visual PDF files always help to explain the model.
    I have added a link to KoyFin on my channel under all videos, thanks for the product!

      Hey!
      Working on it. We have some quickfire updates rolling out soon for Model Portfolios and will keep the updates coming thick and fast.
      We've been getting a lot of great feedback and downloading/sharing is something that comes up often.

    Is it possible to compare different model portfolios with each other? for instance to see relative performances.

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  6 месяцев назад

      It’s now possible to use Model Portfolios in charts, watchlists, and dashboards to compare performance!
      They can be selected by typing their name or using the security picker.

      Hey Robert, the best place to get assistance is the Koyfin Help Desk, but if you explain your issue here I can try help.
      Can you you explain what difficulty you’re having?

      Hi, thank you. I want to create a Model portfolio by cut and paste or import a file. This can be done in the watchlist feature. Is there a way to do this on Model Portfolios?@@Koyfin

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  Год назад

      Import is not currently available, but its something we are adding very soon in out “quick follow” updates to the second version of model portfolios.
      We’ve had a lot of great feedback and are hard at work adding new features as we speak.

    most Financial Advisors already use Google Sheets (which has stock data built in) or Excel for portfolio modelling.. not sure how much value this feature adds over Sheets/Excel.. not something i'd pay a $948.00 annual sub for, personally..

    • @Koyfin
      @Koyfin  11 месяцев назад

      Model portfolios are only one small part of the Koyfin Pro licence, and this was, by far, the most requested feature from our FA user base. We've already begun work on enhanced versions of the Model Portfolios tools to include Xray look-throughs, broker integration, additional data series for analysis, and more.
      Google Sheets and Excel are great products, and we appreciate your feedback.

    • @RogerYeahmon
      @RogerYeahmon 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@Koyfininteresting to hear it's the most-requested feature as portfolio modelling in Excel/Sheets is literally every FA's most basic bread and butter.. anyway, Koyfin is excellent - use it every day
