- Commercial, off the shelf drones continue to evolve in complexity and threaten military and civilian safety & disrupt operations. Anduril's counter drone system autonomnously identifies, detects and defeats small drones.
Sentry Tower identifies threats using long range radar & AI processing.
Lattice OS uses computer vision, machine learning & real-time data to provide essential operational information .
Anvil provides a kinetic option to intercept drone threats.

I expected a gun or small guided missile, but a drone that just bonks the other drone out of the sky is genius.
Efficiency at it best
genius🤔🤔
kamikaze drone : let me introduce my self
The object with superior mass almost always wins...High School Physics 101.
Glad to see _somebody_ stayed awake in class...and founded a company. 😉
bonk bonk
I about died laughing at the end when I saw how the kinetic system worked. All the big players are fighting drones with lasers and nets, etc, and Anduril's just like "What if we ducktaped a brick onto a drone, then flew it into the other drone?" It seems like such a stupid idea, and yet it makes so much sense, especially if the brickdrone (TM) can recover and return. This is probably the most efficient enemy drone killer I've seen thus far. Take down an enemy drone (and probably save the lives of one of your own soldiers at least half the time) for the price it takes to recharge the batteries after a mission. Good job y'all. I hope that you herald a return to competition.
That's the private sector for you. Coming up with new ideas.
They already have “Kamikaze” Drones for use against personnel, so why not a drone.
@@موسى_7this has actually long been an idea for full scale aircraft that never materialized for obvious reasons. See the Northrop XP-79B, Lippsich P.13a, Zeppelin Rammer, Avro Silverbug.
It's not a new idea so much as an idea possibly made newly viable.
properly protected ducted fans would probably make ir extremely returnable especially against light civilian drones.
nah, its still stupid.
Impressive work, especially that you can run Lattice OS on Windows Media Player. 0:40
lmaoo
hahahahaha
who forgot to full screen it🤣
Don't you worry about Lattice OS, let us worry about Lattice OS.
"its very light weight"
The music on these videos is so good. Anduril knows exactly what genre we’re living in.
I am a growing fan of Anduril’s concept of reusable kinetics. They’ve found a much needed niche.
"What if I put a literal anvil on a drone?"
USAF: Here's $500 Billion Dollars.
Every major airport should have this system installed.
The way things are changing. We will need them there and other places.
That sounds like friendly-fire city to me
Damn government spy birds wont stand a chance
lol EW and airports don’t mix
EW?@@jonathanpfeffer3716
Not only is the tech impressive, the video and presentation is amazing! The editing was so sick, gave me chills watching it
yesh this is next level for sure
I think they are underestimating the danger of debris to the attack drone.
@@Forevertrue They probably arent using cheap material lol.
@@Forevertrue even if they are those drones cost a tiny fraction of a laser or missile based system.
I especially enjoyed the part, where they ran the demonstration "live feed" as a video inside the Windows Media Player xD
Andruril it seems is both great at engineering and marketing as well based on the high quality of its videos as can be seen here in this one.
problem is they've only shown this hitting a slow photography drone. Like to see this hit a much faster FPV Kamikazi oriented drone in the future.
Lancets and Shaheeds are pretty easy to intercept with jammers and lasers. They’re effective in Ukraine because Ukraine lacks EW systems and doesn’t have laser based AA. Against a NATO country they would certainly not be very effective. Remember that the Russian Lancet-3M is just a copied German-Israeli HERO Kamikaze drone. With less sophisticated guidance and without hardening against EW.
@@FacitOmniaVoluntas. I think OP is more thinking about FPV racing drones repurposed for kamikaze attacks. Very maneuverable and probably pretty good at dodging.
@@falsum2701 Those smaller FPV drones are incredibly vulnerable to EW attacks. Their components are very simple and they communicate on a wide array of frequencies that are easily jammed. Of course, due to the sheer amount of them, some will always get through in areas that aren’t covered by electronic countermeasures. Nonetheless a sufficiently capable array of EW systems can effectively nullify their usefulness.
That goes very well for commercial systems as well. The problem with EW is that it's not available enough and likely never will be unless production cost is cut significantly. @@FacitOmniaVoluntas.
@@FacitOmniaVoluntas. that's funny one
Best system I've seen yet, cost effective. Simple actions. I love it
Finally the Tech and GUI we saw a Decade ago in Videogames become Reality for those Protecting us.
A drone that slams into other drones to destroy them is pretty badass
This has to be the coolest thing I’ve seen all year, 2023 I mean. Great job
your BGM kinda slaps. also, your marketing team is so far ahead doing commercials, i know maybe 2 or 3 players on defence who can do this kind of good content. and they have entire countries GDPs to spare on it every year
so kudos to y'all from sometone who worked in the field (adverts) for a long time you deserve all praise
This is my dream company to work for, when I saw the teaser for that sick front view shot of Anvil at the end of the Ghost 4 video, I knew some sick video was going to drop
Why don't you work there then? What's your background?
At least the military industrial complex is not shooting at people with this technology.
Yeah, I'd love to work there as well. My skills would make me most useful to work on the Lettice OS. Would be 100x more interesting than the product I'm working on now 😴
Whoever made this video did a great job
The sentry is the most impressive thing here, to me. I imagine there passing off target detection from radar to vision. Two sentries can triangulate the target with radar, spin the camera to triangulate with vision, and send position updates to Anvil. Then, when Anvil is in range, it's camera takes over. Notice how Anvil attacks from underneath, making visual object detection easier against the backdrop of the sky vs the ground.
Some of the coolest music I've ever heard.
That drone took off and chose violence.
Simply Smashing, literally !! Thank You !! Keep up the Great work ! 😎❤👀🕺🎯
Presentation Quality: 10/10
Finally, some military hardware that doesn't self-destruct at the cost of a college education per use.
It shows a deep US heritage when the drone literally play football with enemy
I have been looking for a drone company to work for when I graduate and I think I found the one I want!
any update?
Update us buddy
@@HeinzUlrich65 I am in the Delayed Entry Program for Air Force Special Operations. I will get to work with cool toys from anduril and lots of other companies.
How is your job application doing??
I decided to instead join the air force and maybe come back to anduril in the future@@VeryProPlayerYesSir1122
Definitely a company I would love to work for !!
Me: "Anvil? Why .. oh that makes sense."
This commercial should be developed into a James Bond film. It's that good.
Anduril, Flame of the West! The sword reforged!
0:44 Windows 10 desktop with Media Player window open, play controls still visible at the bottom 😭🤦🏻
I thought kinetically was a euphemism for just blasting it out of the sky. I never expected a flying hammer of Thor 😂
Super impressive technology and execution
Thanks, solid engineering
WOW what a masterpiece!!
I embarrassed at the amount of "drone drops grenade on soldier" videos I've watched since the invasion of Ukraine. Developing systems like these are going to be incredibly successful. best of luck Palmer. best of luck anduril.
Ghost Fleet is a great book.
why not duct the interceptors blades for protection when contacting the target?
It's simple and efficient, I like it. I imagine armored vehicles of the future will all be equipped with some type of counter drone tech.
I would like to see a lightly armored vehicle similar to a personnel carrier but designed to hold and release a high volume of drones. A quad rotor drone is easy to defend but a swarm would be far more difficult. Simple decoy drones could be employed to draw enemy fire. America's current problem is that our missiles are extremely expensive, often more expensive than the targets they are taking out.
Way to go Anduril!
As an Infanteer, I want to see this is service, deployable to platoon sized element now. This more so than a new Primary Arm or any IFV.
Epic
If all advertisements looked at least 50% like this i wouldnt have adblock installed.
what a good promo video! Looks really good. I would just say that the symbol on the screen should not be a plane, but a drone. 0:49
How do you stop the antenna from being in artillery target? As soon as you turn it on couldn't they hone in on your signal?
The electromagnetic spectrum is a very big thing. Think of it like stealth aircraft. You can track it, but you can't target it.
if the said drone was carying an explosive, would it explode on impact, or would it explode, when the broken drone fell to the ground (or neither), if we're talking about the most common drone-mounted explosives?
A simple pocket laser can disrupt lattice. And obviously 10 tiny drones with a small C4 charge at the same time can easily break through the anvil defense.
1:10 yo that beat be sick...
Jeez...you guys are cutting edge smart, and I'm proud you, as an American, what you're doing in Ukraine. GREAT JOB! Keep it coming.
We need this across the borders.
No, why should we allow potential rivals to access this? We need to maintain the upper hand.
Extremely cool company
Impressive. Wonder how it handles more than one
What people are missing is the tower and the operating system
Here after Mark Rober's video!
Impressive
People in the past:
"We will have advanced robots and laser weapons in the future warfare".
Future warfare:
You guys are so badass. Lockheed of the future. Where can I donate?
As a military history nerd, its so cool to me to know that the US Air Force and Navy is so dominant that for 65 years of almost continuous war, no american ground forces has ever been successfully struck by enemy aircraft.
Hey wattson! CINDERBLOCK!
Epic video! Where is the music from?
VRIL JINN DRAGON BLACK AWAKENING.
Evil genius. Jinn in us.
No weapon shall prosper 🙏
there is a arcade game name "outzone" and on that game there is a weapon called "superball" which spins 360 degree and destroy everything. if simillar thing can use is battlefield then enemy would have no chance to survive.
Why attach a weapon to a drone when you can just use the drone itself? Brilliant stuff
I would like to see if these can stop a Switchblade drone.
Surely it can. Simple matter of weight.
This video feels and sounds like what Dune should be
1:25 Imagine if she spilled her coffee on her computer and the drones went ballistic lmao
How good is Anvil at taking out non-stationary drones? Fixed-wing aircraft flight paths seem more predictable.
anvil is good at kicking other drones' asses, that's all you need to know
Train an AI to predict the path of the opposing drone and then train the KI to produce a collision course ? Should be not too hard for the AI wizards and huge Nvidia chips.
Making cool videos is nice. Hopefully it works in real life. Ukraine is now an open air laboratory. Once in a lifetime opportunity for Anduril to test their toys.
am having one question. Will this be effective against Lancet? is it tested against some similar drones?
Get some of these to Ukraine!
Again you do understand that Ukraine has been in a civil war since we over-threw the government in 2014? Broaden your information networks. Even Zerohedge as some insights on what is really happening in Ukraine.
Lol
im willing to do things like these if someone is willing to pay me enough for it but meanwhile i'll sit and eat popcorn while i wait...
Is there anything that can fight an anvil drone? its been 2 years
The lesson in this is fly low. Anvil is designed to attack from below. If a drone is hugging the ground, harder for radar to detect and much harder for Anvil to get the jump on it.
Flying low makes it way easy to engage with bullets, so theres that also.
Like a movie 😮
At least we found a use for all the Xbox Series X consoles - just slap some propellers on them and launch them at other drones.
can you attack FPV drone systems? those operate at pretty low altitudes. Currently widely used in Ukraine conflict by both sides in a very effective way. Doest this system just jam out the signal?
"Just ****** ram it." "Ok"
They hit each other in the sky, why one is destroyed but the other one was not injured?
I'd play this all day
"Anvil" Oh, you meant that literally...
OK... works too, I guess...
This is good stuff, but people are more worried about swarms of tiny kamikaze drones, I wonder what could defeat that🤷🏻♂️
You don’t even need to upscale it for bigger drones just add explosives
Bro if you put a steel prop guard around the props your kinetic kill drone might actually be reusable a bunch of times.
i was wondering how long until we saw anti-drone drones
How can i invest in this awesomeness
Hilarious, but also probably smart.
Slaughterbots vs. Slaughter-Slaughterbots...what the actual hell?!
Its a flying Anvil. I take it Molnier (Thors Hammer) was already taken as a trademark.😂
They know their flightpath?
it reminds me of an operator scene from r6
Sub par in relation with Cervus III anti drone system
This is why they retired the SR-71, it never stood a chance against something as lethal as the bonk drone.
Super 👍👍👍
It looks like the moon lander.
I am very intrested for Indian Market / south asian market on JV basis and have sent u an email .
And what if enemy's drone is faster and has some basic sensors🙂?
Considering a typical fpv drone can only go up to 150 mph it's impossible to dodge the anvil because it goes up to 200 mph.
Great example of innovating existing technology and its recent improvements to solve new problems.
It's a flying hammer with an advanced targeting system.
I identify as an aduril lattice counter drone system.
How does this perform against a swarm?
swarm against swarm
"were gonna isaac newton the sh*t outta this"- the folks at anduril
Are they hiring?
