It's crazy..I danced this piece the fist year I was a professional..I didn't know at the time it would be the highlight of my career. Thank you so much for posting it.
I saw this performed 21st March 2010 at "Homage to Nureyev Gala" in London. It was fantastic!! Farukh Ruzimatov, Irina Perren, Vera Arbuzova, Alexander Omar. Will you be uploading 2nd part? Thank you
I saw Ivan Nagy dance this with Eric Bruhn (some of those hated ballet dancers) -- Nagy was the best Iago I have ever seen and I have seen the original cast -- in fact I think there is a version with Limon on RUclips??? Maybe -
I do not believe this work was choreographed by Purcell. I am 99% certain it is a work originally by Jose Limon (and still performed by the Limon Dance Company) which is also "loaned' or taught to other companies by Limon dancers. It is a beautiful work. Says so much with so little.
… and Considering that Henry Purcell, the composer, lived 1759-1795: ummm: just saying: No. there is no blooming way such a person would have been able to conceive this modern choreography, eh?! 😂 lol. 😊. But. Anyway. Be well, Peace and Love -- and All Honor to the great José Limon, ♥️ 🇲🇽 Dancer and choreographer among the very, very, very greatest of Time.

Truly among the greatest modern dances ever made. Limon's unforgettable genius. Purcell the glory and Orpheus of English music.
потрясающая музыка щемит сердце и слезы в глазах!!!
What a beautiful work...
Es una pena que no esté la coreografía completa... Una obra maestra...

I also saw this ballet in 1978 with Erik Bruhn, Ivan Nagy, Carla Fracci, And Sally Wilson. I was drawn in not only by the dancers, but also the music!
Best...
and yea the choreography is by Jose Limon.
you can upload the last part, please?
A lot of thanks for this video! This year we selebrate Hose Limon's, the author of this beautiful ballett, 100-th anniversary. Have you other parts?

The music is by Purcell. Bit you are correct; the choreography is by Limon.
