I love how you don't just think of him for his acting skills... you think of him for his commitment to the unique physicality of it. Several thousand hours of prep, if what's shown here is to be believed. Some of what Tom Cruise does it absolutely nuts. But it's like a fraction of the work Keanu puts in to deliver this larger-than-life character in this later career phase. It's probably not unlike training for special forces. Some folks talk about spoiled rich movie stars... but think about getting a role like this and having to do this amount of training.

I truly think with Reeves, it is the love of the film, the passion and love of the character itself. It is just not going to the gym, etc., then go in front of the camera... It is all the sequences, moves, gun shots, tossing of bodies, etc. How much he loves being that character💙💙💋

I love how you don't just think of him for his acting skills... you think of him for his commitment to the unique physicality of it. Several thousand hours of prep, if what's shown here is to be believed. Some of what Tom Cruise does it absolutely nuts. But it's like a fraction of the work Keanu puts in to deliver this larger-than-life character in this later career phase. It's probably not unlike training for special forces. Some folks talk about spoiled rich movie stars... but think about getting a role like this and having to do this amount of training.

It's so cool and important knowing that there are still actors in 2022 that they work real and hard for the money they take. They're interested for their fans and they give their 100% for their movies. Not all CGI and fake scenes. A BIG respect for Keanu Reeves

you can't get to Reeves's pro level without putting in extraordinary work. an amazing human being. that's for sure. huge respect
He's been doing it a long time he already had martial arts training from other films like the matrix and some people go to do target practice just for fun anyway it's pretty hard to do something consistently for years and not become an expert. It's all for show though just choreographed.

Yeah Tom is in great shape for a guy in his 50s too and loves to do his own stunts still. He's more glamorous than Keanu I think though he still seems to work the press and dazzle people with his smile etc. Different personalities but both hard working.

This was no doubt the most realistic action packed movie trilogy i have ever seen. Every fight is so real it has me on the edge of my seat.
