@@Shendue perhaps, but now im divided about what i said here, Evangelion is essential, it contributes to Super Robot Wars, theres nothing wrong about the anime. but yea, its still sounds like hes talking with an emo. after reading many Getter Robo mangas, watching many Getter Robo animes, playing many games, i can't see this joke coming from someone who knows really well who is Ryoma Nagare. theres many unknow species around this world.
The Tetsuya 'betrayal' would hit much harder if that was the moment he revealed the Mazin Emperor G. Think about it: having Great transform into the Emperor would justify the massive power increase and make Shin Getter's arrival much more satisfying, besides giving a better build up to the moment he returns and the players gets to control the Emperor.
