30 March 1988 TVS - ads & Late Night Late

TVS ran a "Late Night Late" slot for a while in the late 80s, with presenters running links, in this case between the Joan Collins movie "Nutcracker" and "Off the Wall". This is a good example of the sort of high brow content southern viewers were treated to.

I loved Laura Penn on Late Night Late, you wouldn't get Granada doing the guess the leg competition.
Unlike some ITV Regions, TVS really embraced all night television.

Yes they did too. Whether Southern would have showed this sort of thing if they had been going then who knows, but TVS sure did though. I am not sure either whether Meridian later on did though?
