To follow God "willingly and happily" is a very good reminder to me, especially in the days of big challenges, even though the things in front are just humanly impossibly... At the end of the talk (powerpoint page 43), I explain Jesus' teaching on Ask, Seek and Knock. Of course, do not watch only the last part. The entire message is important, because not everyone who goes to church is saved. The message is alarming to me. This is why I prepared this talk for everyone who is serious about our faith in Jesus Christ.
@@ronhui9268 When I watched your RUclips, I am/was not a Christian yet. It has been 10+ years that I read a few chapters in OT and NT, thinking and struggling if God and Jesus do exist. Thank you for this RUclips(and others too), which clear a lot of questions in my mind for years. May I have your opinion in my 'attitude' to be a Christian, by email. Thanks
@@marcchan827 The 1st century Jewish historian Josephus (who was not a Christian) mentioned Jesus and described Jesus as a "miracle doer" in his history book. Many bible figures were also mentioned in his book. The existence of Jesus is backed up by historical evidence. The facts that (1) 10 of Jesus's 12 disciples hid in a room after Jesus was arrested and crucified, and (2) later died for their faith in Jesus as martyrs after seeing the resurrected Christ tell us that Jesus has defeated death and solved the ultimate problem of humankind - death. After being destroyed for over 2600 years, Israel was re-established in May 1948 as predicted in the bible..... So it is a natural step for people serious about truth and life to accept the authenticity of the bible.

But I wonder the so-called "modern scholars" may have good work on inauthenticity For the first appearance of Jesus to disciples after resurrection, I do find a few inconsistency among Gospels. Like, it was mentioned that Jesus told women to ask disciples to gather in mount of Galilee, such that Jesus would meet them. In another scenario, Jesus just showed himself in a room(in Jerusalem) where the disciples hid.

对于出卖耶稣的犹大，许教授认为他有的是什么信心?
圣经福音书记载一处主的祷告有提到说 "。。除了那悖逆之子。。。" ， 是指犹大吗。
在我講座ppt的第17頁有一張「信心」的圖表，對上帝信心的第一步和「救贖」有關，就是要認罪悔改，接受基督做救主。犹大沒有認罪悔改，所以他對上帝一點信心也沒有。在(弗2:2)的悖逆之子是指跟随魔鬼的人，就是不跟随基督的人。
按 許樹源教授說道 : 先要 神旨意向人說出呼喚;人才可選擇相信與否，是嗎？
上帝以衪的先見和無限的智慧，揀選那些以「自由意志」選擇「尊敬上帝的話」、「敬畏上帝」和「甘心樂意」跟從上帝的人。上帝的智慧是超越人所能明白的。但對人來説，上帝已给足夠的啓示，凡真誠認罪悔改、接受耶穌基督為救主、謙卑讓聖靈重生的人，都有永遠的生命。上帝是公義的，衪不會不拯救「甘心樂意」跟從衪的人。

@@kahingalanyip3806 要明白真理，單單倚靠人的能力是不能的。只有聖靈才能將人帶入真理。讀聖經之前要先祈禱，用敬畏上帝的心求聖靈引導。最重要是和其他信徒一起研習聖經。基督徒生活是「羣體性」的。
保羅的得救是上帝的主權，上帝給他「很特別亅的經歷。像所有得救的人一樣，是上帝主動拯救，保羅在［被動中採取主動」，用他的「自由意志」接受基督作救主。上帝給他的多，所以他「付出」也多。保羅是在羅馬殉道的。
