I like how they show the belt driven A/C compressor while they are discussing the brakes.

Certain Kenworth and Peterbilt truck models today, with a conservative design package somewhat resemble the IHC Paystar 5000, in terms of windshield, radiator, hood and set back front axle. Peterbilt would probably be the most similar to the IHC Paystar 5000.

Peterbilt not so much as Kenworth with the C500.

I love these old ads. I'm fifty three and my dad had 3 units in the 70s and early 80s.

I just sold a Paystar 5000 that looked just like this. It wasn’t is as good of shape. It put in year of severe service.

My friends dad had a 70's paystar 5000 dumptruck, 20f/44's, w/a 6v53 Jade Grenade. It had a great sound.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 Happy New Year! I remember seeing a lot of these trucks back in the day. I liked the cabs & hoods. I thought I saw some set up as tractors, but I’m sure that was rare! That must’ve been a client modification, right? I thought they made great tractors though. They sure were popular cement mixer trucks! I’ve never seen any up close, so thanks for the overview of them. Good presentation, but the sound was a bit low. I’ve always liked a longer truck frame, especially on a tractor. Nice video! 🥰🤩✌️

Driven a lot of paystar 5000 Mixers, very tough Trucks. There are still quite a few running around Texas. The company I worked for had just started retiring them in the last year.

I actually have an IHC 110 1953 Pickup, and a single axle IHC 160 about that same year.
