  • The Ski Sunday presenter talks us through his favourite runs while he skis them, in a new regular series of videos exclusively for Telegraph Ski and Snowboard, sponsored by Club Med.
In this run, his final one this season, Graham tackles the Col Pers in Val d’Isère. This off-piste run starts from the top of the Montets drag lift on the Col d’Iseran glacier and is the most popular off-piste run in the Espace Killy ski area.

Hmm, loved the pistes off the Col d'Iseran and the T-bar but had no idea what was over that little ridge! Obviously wouldn't want to try that for the first time without a guide.

Its ok finding the way and there isn't a lot of exposure to cliffs or crevasses
I've done it on snowboard but didn't go again, it's a lot of traversing, flatter sections, and better suited to skis

Totally bottled it solo freeriding, stood for an age before backing out. Am now kicking myself seeing what I missed

It looks so much less frightening on a camera...

Bell doesn't even put hands through pole straps PLUS he's carrying a camera.A wonderful video

In freeride, skiers generally don't use the pole straps, many even remove them, to avoid being dragged down in case of an avalanche. It can also reduce risk of injury in a fall.

@@thorstenreitz7302 Agreed. NEVER use the pole straps.

No mention of the 10 minute climb to avoid the often impassable gorge section.
