Have you read the comic? The idea of breaking down the gem society is massively relevant to to later events. If not then that's very impressive and it's a big testament to Ichikawa's writing.
I read the first manga only as of right now and that was as a prep for this video. I wanted to see if I could get some lore stuff. But I spent a lot of time thinking about this series ha. We recorded four hour long podcasts about the series a year back and I failed on writing another video script a few months back I wasn't sure about how much i wanted to bring up the 'breaking part' but the more i thought about it the more i was convinced that's what Ichikawa might have been going for
@@yatakun I personally enjoyed the series a lot, too. In fact, you could say that this series changed my life. You made it justice. I wish you made a review to the events that happen in the manga, after the anime as well. I'd be very interested to know what you think about it. :D
This was just a amazing review! I haven't seen the show but I am now going to watch it and with so much more knowledge behind it. I'll probably end up crying, lol.
