I DO AGREE WITH MOST OF THE POINTS!! I myself honestly didn’t have such high expectations knowing the studio- ahaha.. but oh boy. I genuinely loved the episode Nagi manga within every single detail and canon interactions between the characters!! The manga was JUST EATABLE 🤏🏼🤏🏼 the movie however- wasn’t the worst but they did cut so many scenes and details, using the anime’s scenes, etc etc- .. the music and ost choices wasn’t my preference- maybe someone else could enjoy them but I myself didn’t wanna hear Barbie’s sweet songs in the middle of a football game 😭.. I myself would give it a 6/10 just for the effort ☺️- it was nice to see the characters themselves thought so yeah! If you’re an og bllk fan you’d enjoy it !

I saw someone else say it but the main problems lie in production. 8 bit has a lot of shows (Tensura S3, Tensura Movie, and irregular at magic high S3) being in production at the same time as Ep nagi and S2 of Blue Lock. Budget of a movie does increase quality only as much as the animators are given good schedules for animating. Hopefully they prioritized S2 over the movie. Honestly as long as the MV 3rd selection goal, Saes gear change, Rin vs Sae, Barous Equalizer, And the luck goal look good I can settle for the rest being mid at best.
I agree with all of your opinion.. but ur higher movie budget is misleading.. all animation studio have resources and means to make an anime better but they don't have any time to animate properly because of their production house demanding for anime to made on small amount of time.. Honestly, some of the highlights were great and the soundtrack was GOD-TIER especially with Bachira's dribble through Team V but yeah, I think my rating was around yours, it's the definition of mid but i am PRAYING it means they're cooking with Season 2
I don’t care if the movie was objectively bad personally. I just loved it so much and getting to see all my fav characters on screen made me overjoyed! (I literally could not stop hitting my dad with my Bachira plush in theatres from how excited I was)
Me and my friends made the movie lit, when Nagi chose Isagi over Reo someone shouted” Yeahhh drop that bum”, 😂I feel the movie was a good RECAP movie and enjoyed it as such, the ost was fire as always and I loved the moments where we saw Isagi and glimpses of puzzle 🧩 pieces slowly coming together
I think the movie looked good except for the aura effects. I think the aura looked way better in the anime. The only aura effect scene I think looks good is when nagi appears behind isagi and we see nagi's aura traping isagi till, isagi does his Direct Shot.

blue lock and haikyuu are like 2 my favorite mangas and the recent movies from both were so disappointing, especially haikyuu, man im a die hard fan of haikyuu both anime and manga but they butchered the movie soo bad and literally sugar coated it with beautifull visuals and animation so the surface level fans and spectators would love it, im just hoping the u20 match from blue lock is going to be a banger cause the manga had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole game
they probably shouldn’t have even made this movie. Episode Nagi is a cool side story but i think it works as a cool manga side story and nothing more. Especially since the main Blue Lock story isn’t even close to finish let alone the side story that is three arcs behind.

i went to see the movie with my friend and not even 10 minutes into the movie and i immediately felt the regret ‘like dam they scammed me’ mind you i didn’t pay for my ticket popcorn and soda and not even that helped the experience. had to leave the theater thinking damn i hope they liked it. after a few days we both agreed the movie sucked and was a complete waste of time
