We all want to believe we are a good influence on others, ESPECIALLY the young generation. And don't get me wrong, there have been times where she has made some positive influences, through donation and Make a Wish etc. Those few times really don't cancel out how I still don't believe that Kim K is a positive influence in her entirety, simply because she uses sexual tactics to gain reputation and $$$. In no way am I body shaming her or insulting her, but from observing her rise to fame throughout the years, I can't think of a year in which I haven't seen her in a sexual manner. Whether it be a pose, a shoot, a walk down the block she flashes her body for show with her taste in fashion. Her body is thick, that's what's selling these days, and she knows that. She doesn't have to choose skin tight, cleavage rocking outfits, but that's what ultimately keeps the likes coming on her pics, as well as her income flowing. To call yourself a great influence when you've been selling your body from the very start, I just don't understand that... even if you visit the children's hospital with flowers, if afterwards when you get home put on a skimpy bathing suit flaunting your booty and snap a selfie for the world to see, that is who you are behind the curtain. You can be generous, but I won't buy your "great influence" card for a minute!

Girl please! Nobody, NOBODY knew who she was before the tape. The tape made her...it was the start to her brand, so that cannot be separated. Personally, I don't think she's dumb, and she has a likable personality. Put the foregoing with a morally deficient society, a bloodthirsty morally bankrupt mother, and presto, you'll have success. So saying "it's just the attention she gets" is beyond stupid.

Hardly a headline news story, and that wasn't even a backlash. She didn't say anything remotely negative, in fact I think she handled those questions very elegantly. As much I hate seeing the Kardashians everywhere and how much blind influence they have on people (as well as some of the choices they make!), I can't justify hating on Kim - she's just a savvy businesswoman who took advantage of her moment of fame. She's smarter than she is given credit for.
Kim may be successful bc of social media but you've got to give it to her. Very few ever make it that far up on the podium in doing something that simple that has to be talent somehow.

Honestly, I don't hate the Kardashians-- Do I agree with all of their actions? No, but I do believe that as reality stars their job is to *entertain* and they've been able to take that "talent" and transform it into business. People are acting as if they wouldn't do the same thing if given the opportunity.

I tell you what her talent is: Companies pay a LOT of money to have a social media professional who does with a lot of study and work what she does using only her intuition and self image. She is a marketing genius. She knows her public, knows what they want and exactly how to give it to them. I work with social media and I know how much research it takes to do half of what she does. Her succes is rising for over a decade, and not once it has fallen. I'm not her fan, but I sure admire her empathy skils.

Leave the interviews of the 'no talent, the media made them famous and none of us care about them at all' people to TMZ, Mo Po (maury povich) and all other fake journalists. And i have to say, as i never see her anymore and change the channel whenever she appears, this is the first time i've seen kim in a long time. Wow...she's got more plastic in that face than a tonka toy. She's starting to resemble the recently deceased singer Pete Burns. She can barely smile. That face is gonna be one hot mess by 40.
