Braun has that thing that can't be taught. He has the drive, energy, and the tenacity. Love his game and he'll continue to improve, especially under Jokic's tutelage. These playoffs were a rollarcoaster for the Nuggets but Braun, and Watson's, futures look bright to me.

No one on the Nuggets was able to score consistently other than Jokic throughout the playoffs. Murray showed up for the first half in this game at least. Murray and Jokic combined for 69 points, the rest of the team had 21 COMBINED. That is never going to win in the playoffs.
Did he just say “we were a better team”? Dude, apart from two guys no denver player can give consistent two digit contribution. Trade MPJ for Bruce Brown and one solid piece. Having two max contracts players who can be locked down for the whole series is exploitable by everyone.

This guy's the only nugget who hustles. Period. Consistently. All these "star" players are sooooo inconsistent in their Star performances. But Braun...Consistently hustles.

They got to get more ball handlers and shot makers. It's insane that only a couple of their guys can really put the ball on the ground and create plays. Their bench isn't really ready, either. And their guys are so inconsistent. Got to work on that confidence.
He says they needed more defense, but it was actually the offense that was lacking. Denver's offense was good this year but never hit that peak level like last postseason. Joker's jumper and three ball were noticeably worse, and even his touch around the rim was not quite as good as last year. Combine that with worse shooting splits from Jamal, MPJ and KCP - it is a wrap.

Michael Porter Jr making a lot of money for a guy that didn't contribute AT ALL. Aaron Gordon went totally missing. There was a chance for Gordon to go for a contested dunk, with Nuggets down like 4, and he passed instead to (I think) Murray for a corner 3 (which missed).
Lot of guys got scared of physicality and taking charge. Murray had 1 good half, bad 2nd half. Jokic, absolutely exhausted by the end, and he was useless in the lost ~2-3 minutes. Coach messed up big time not giving him a rest at some point. Although, with how they started the 3rd quarter, with practically no points, you can see how there was no easy answer.
I love you CB. And I am saying this as man to man, a fan of Denver Nuggets. You are THE man, you are the true epitome of hustle and energy. You lead by example on how champions should play. If only others ( MPJ I am looking at you ) who are more experienced in NBA, who are paid more ( a disgraceful showing of a max contract player ) looked at you and followed your example, we would've been able to keep that 20 point lead. You wore your heart on the sleeve, and you left your heart on the field. You will develop into a great player, just keep working like you already are. I know that this message won't get to you, but hopefully you are able to feel the support whole Denver Nuggets fanbase has for you. On the other hand, I am done with tolerating the effort, hustle and energy levels which are all mediocre and half assed coming from MPJ. I am done tolerating that guy receiving such a big contract, taking so much cap space, and never being able to provide when we needed him the most. Mediocre consistency at the best... MPJ your days should be numbered in here. I hope you leave the team. If I had any saying in the matter, I would get rid of the following players after this season: MPJ, Zeke Nnaji, Reggie Jackson, DeAndre Jordan, Holiday...and Murray.
Would leave only KCP, Aaron, Jokic and the young core consisting of Christian Braun, Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther. In the meantime find the means to get guys such as Bruce Brown, certified bucket scorers, certified energy level boosters, who actually are willing to get dirty while playing, and fight until the last breath. I say we be done with half assed, spineless, whiney ass, mentality and actually get some certified "killers" on the team who won't get their ass beat down physically wise and who aren't scared to run trough those defenses and bully back.
Once again, I felt the need to relief myself of the frustration of having to watch us blow a 20point lead in Game 7, watching as everything unfolded at 4AM.

Michael Porter Jr should have been benched for Christian Braun. But the problem is that AG and Christian Braun are not good offensively
Braun just needa keep improving his shot. His 3 went up from 35% to 38% & FT 63% to 69% from rookie to sophomore season on more volume too. This shows he put in serious work into his shot over that offseason. If he can keep up that improvement he’ll be a bonified starting 3&D guard. Think of in the mold of Grayson Allen.

He could easily be our starting SG if he had an offensive game. Crazy as a white guy at his size coming into the league and can’t shoot. Needs to be a night and day difference from in his game offensively. He’s arguably our best defender and has all the athleticism you could ask for.

Damn near every member of the Nuggets made an ass of themselves at the postgame presser. Joker was uninterested as usual lol, Braun thinks his team is better after blowing a 20 point lead at home as a defending champ, Frontrunner Murray made excuses and acted like he couldn’t remember the game and Mike Malone was embarrassing as he usually is when things don’t go his way.

Braun was underutilized this season and I find that really puzzling because the new roster is not at his level . The whole team chemistry was off due to the roster changes . Some bad decisions this season and hopefully they get corrected . Bring in Braun and Gillespie as they know how to play with Jokic .

Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther were also underutilized. I know Strawther was injured and couldn't catch a rhythm, but Watson flat out got benched by Malone in this series and with Malone going with Holiday instead. Holiday could still play but not playing Watson when Braun also said we needed defense sucks.

Denver fans think they are so good they can never lose, the other team helps you play bad, they rush your shots, alter your shots, make you take longer times to get to what you want, make shots themselves which puts pressure and make you play under pressure instead of being relaxed, sometimes the other team is better.
