Shady gave Pat a second chance to take shift gear over dragon dance, but said nothing about taking dragon dance over victory dance, which it seems like they both forgot exists.
Sometimes it's not worth taking over Dragon Dance, when the defense boost might not be as valuable. While taking Dragon Dance can lock it out of their opponent's normal movesets; So in that respect it might make sense to take DDance first, but after that you should definitely double dip into VDance for sure lol.
When I saw fizzarolli in a pokemon video I had mental whiplash, the fact that patterz has watched or is atleast somewhat farmiliar with the RUclips animated series helluva boss is wild.
I think for videos like this one, where the weakest Pokemon matters, I enjoy the opponent choosing you Pokemon more. Not only does it allow for considering typing and movepool in what is actually the weakest but it also opens up another tactical dimension in trying to screw up your opponents team composition.

Choose your starter while only knowing the Tera type of their top (Smogon) set. This silliness just came to my mind. I don't work with Smogon enough to know if it's balanced or we're just looking at getting some unfun rounds of "Steel, Steel or Steel". Could be a fun exercise in guessing if it's an offensive or defensive typing for what the mon's type actually is.

Been watching Shady since back in the Lumiose Station days.. love that his genuine pureness hasn’t changed over the years. One of my favorite RUclipsrs!
Since Whimsicott doesn't have Prankster, wouldn't it have been better to just give it Nuzzle? That way, it gets 100% accuracy vs the 90% of TWave and can break any potential sash or sturdy.

Video idea Shady, each person chooses whichever starter they want without the other person seeing, then the opponent gives them the Held Item and Ability which have to Synergize with each other. For example Magic Guard/Life Orb or Lagging Tail/Analytic, Choice Items are banned from this. The opponent might give you an item/ability combination that is BUSTED with your choice without knowing it or they might give you a combo that your Pokemon can’t utilize effectively. Chaos hopefully ensues! 😄
I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
Hydro steam is rlly cool, I rlly wanna use walking wake with it for my sun team since water is one of my last blind spots on there, but I also get that if you don't run sun it's a dogwater move

Hmm...your opponent chooses from the lies? That could be interesting. I think a lie bank could be interesting. 6 total lies, you don't have to say in advance whether you use any that round. So you could lie about none of them or 3 of them, and the opponent doesn't know.
