I've heard there might be a season 7 coming out next year since the creator wants to give the anime a proper ending. Also he has been sick and not able to do much for the anime
The arc after season 6 is a bit harder to follow and some find it quite boring because of that. i’d personally like an anime so i can follow along with the story better but on the other hand its just not all that interesting to be deserving of an adaptation. The only main characters in it are only leorio and kurapika. gon and killua are completely gone and have been for however the arc has been going. (i believe its actually still going lol)
