The bezel insert is ceramic. I have the PADI king turtle and this version of the samurai will probably be my next addition. I too like the machined look on the crown and bezel edge. Good value with the sapphire and ceramic. Thanks for sharing.
I was indecided between this Great Blue and Manta Ray model ( Save the Ocean). Finally I have chosen this one . I don’t like the brazelet of the other model and the combination of blues is fantastic. Thanks for the review
@@perfectwrist23 Hehe. Yea, I started to get non running vintage watches from the bay for me to be repairing them. I need a replacement drug. But I will of course order my Helm Vanuatu Titanium when I am down on the wait list. Should be next month or so.
@@perfectwrist23 It is a learning process. Obstacles over obstacles, mistakes and more mistakes (at least in my case) but after failing several times on one problem I recognize that I can disassemble and reassemble the same movement within ten minutes instead of two hours.
One tip for you. Don’t buy cheap Tweezers. Get good ones. I got me some expensive Dumont #5 and #7 and there are worlds between them and the cheap ones. You can grab very tiny parts without seeing them flying around and never finding them again. Buy cheap and you buy twice.
@@perfectwrist23Correct. Seiko is just lazy with their quality control. The 4R in my turtle is 16 seconds behind and has a beat error of 1.0 which is way too much. I think I will regulate it myself as soon as I care enough.

I saw this watch in my local AD on Saturday and instantly fell for it. I’m going back tomorrow to buy it 😍
Ha. We only live once!

I was exactly the same....love them all but this was soooo good it deserved pulling the trigger. They really have got it JUST RIGHT!
Wish they put lume on the bezel. Watch looks great, love the color.
Thanks. It is a stunner
This one is a looker. Very beautiful. Congrats on your new drug! 🕐⚙️🍸
Thanks! That's the latest fix for now....

I'm getting into servicing and repairs for my own. Did you give up or find it became easier?

What size wrist will the strap fit?
Straps bit too big actually. I'd say 19.5inches
It’s Kanazawa. Not that hard to say.
Is it....I find that hard
@@perfectwrist23 actually. I spelled it wrong. It’s Kanagawa. It is what it is.
Haha.....we weren't that far off
Beautiful dial. Hate the movement and his accuracy
Mmm I find the 4R movements can be regulated to almost cosc. Total mixed bag though

With All due respect You should cut your nails Before zooming on them
Oh will have to check that. Is it the thumbs?
