Would make sense to get a 5700 xt if that's your budget and you only want to game. If you're not only gaming, get a rtx 2080 or save up for something better imo.
2080 RT is borderline unusable. Better to get a 3060 ti for minimum viable RT. If they're both out of your budget, the 5700xt is plenty powerful for gaming and non-RT workloads.

So basically a 2070 Super was a 2080, but at $500 instead of $700.

5700XT OC/UV=2080 when I had the 5700XT I was getting some awesome FPS at the time crazy OC settings on it.

I think the best option is the RTX 2080. It's only a little bit faster but at the same price it's the best one.

The 2080 water force should be a lot better in terms of temps and the rtx 2080 is better than the 2070 super so I would go with the RTX 2080
