  • First time digging with The Mini Root Slayer,so far so good..I just have to remember to keep it away from the coil while swinging the metal detector.Ths was metal detecting hunt 45 for the year at The Church Field.This video was also edited and rendered using VideoProcVlogger.A free video editing software that's more advanced and updated than the Sony Vegas 13 i was using...Usually a 10 minute video would take 8 hours to render but this new program took 25 minutes without much quality loss..Haven't figured out everything with it yet but it's a work in progress...

    I bought a Root Slayer, but I never use it after I bought the Predator Tools “Hurricane”. It digs excellent plugs, and is built like a tank. I use the RS now to plant stuff for my wife, lol😅. Cheers!

    Nice. I told you I got the makro makro digger and it suck’s only used it once. Might have to get the root slayer, but the dirt here in Texas is crap unless it rains, so I guess in the parks I hunt have to stick to the shallow targets so I don’t get out for shitty plugs lol

      So far so good with this Root Slayer..It was only $40 bucks..Ya i can imagine how dry the Texas dirt is..Good luck Shawn..

    These old detectors do as good like the new ones why these people spend 1.000 1.500.00 is to expensive the Teck is not much different

    Got the same shovel. Can’t rate it because it’s the only one I’ve had. Good for poking little holes.

      Hey @@WeirdGuyInPark I'm 6' tall and I'm and I'm thinking a short shovel like that would kill my back. It definitely looks like it makes a good hole! How was it leaning over to use it all day digging?

    • @WeirdGuyInPark
      @WeirdGuyInPark  Год назад +1

      @@MAERvideos I think the total length is 29 inches..I'm 5 10 it was fine for me..

      I had tried a 26" overall length short digger, but after the blade goes into the ground I was bending way too far and my back said you ain't pulling it out again! 😂😖😫 Praise your strong back! Happy Hunting Wierd!

      @@MAERvideos Ya i could see the short shovel being a little difficult for people 6 ft and over..They make a longer one i thing..

    Your hands are going to feel so much better after a day of digging. Also my knees feel better as I use my shovel to help me up 😆 🤣. Thanks for sharing and take care. ✌️

    I have the longer handled Root Slayer. I drag it behind me so, I don't interfere with my detector. I also use the Explorer 2. I've been detecting for 3 months. They are a great combo for a reasonable price.

    Great hunt big guy! At least you got a couple of wheaties. The old coins look to still be out there. Too bad about the dogs. I like how you go back to your childhood places to detect. Take care honey. 💖💯

    Really glad you invested in that software that gets your time and effort down thats a huge improvement. I understand the wilcox, but you can reduce the strain and get at least another hour of detecting in and wear and tear out of that shovel versus a hand shovel.
