I adore this album and this track in particular - I find the production wonderfully greasy, sleazy - magnificent its just chock full of atmosphere . Marcs voice and Dave's keyboard wizardry a marriage made in heaven..

Bought this when it first came out, loved it then and still love it now. Seen Marc many times over the years and he never disappoints live, such an amazing and varied back catalogue.
I was THE biggest fan at the time. Saw them and Marc so many times. I adored this song but couldn’t play because at the time my sister really had been murdered. They were dark days. It’s took me 36 years to revisit this song.

an astounding track - so good to hear it again - the album 'This last night in sodom' was a soundtrack to my own 'wasted ' youth - has such a haunting air of menace and finality- proved to be their last album .. magnificent.

Just heard this on Surgeon's fave tunes podcast for Fabric. .... can't believe I never knew about it, it's amazing.

I remember reading an interview back when this album came out. Marc talked about going to some hardcore gay BDSM clubs in NY and dead bodies being found the day after.

Good memories of a feckless youth. The production was weird at the time, kind of low-fi with some (or all?) tracks mastered in mono. They were both quite frazzled by this time I believe. On the back of my vinyl copy it says "To shits everywhere, fuck of and die" - pretty bold back then!

I thought TLNIS was their worst album as well but this track is pretty good.

This album wasnt too bad, but the production was muddy and badly mixed
Not sure if it was their intention but it does sound chaotic although I still like it!.

I'd love to hear this remastered.. it is actually the only soft cell I dont have. My dad bought me a tape which wore out!
Recorded in mono for a middley, garagey sound. Best to stop trying duck.
