The Turkish people really love cats, it's the home of the beautiful Turkish Van cats, some of the most beautiful cats in the world. I'd love to visit some day. I'm sure that the folks there are wise enough to know that this song is making fun of a crazy rumor, that's why it's funny. It's too bad and scary that here in the US, we might wind up with a crazy man for president. So it's like gallows humor, we laugh so we don't cry.
